Impressions of Kanazawa, Japan

. 🌺 My favorite part of this trip to Kanazawa, Japan, was Kanazawa Station 😆. Kanazawa Station (Figures 1️⃣2️⃣3️⃣) is known as one of the most beautiful train stations in Japan. It was designed by architect Ryuzo Shirae and completed in 2005. The glass and steel dome and the giant wooden gate resembling a torii gate present a very unique futuristic aesthetic. Another reason I like Kanazawa Station is that it is so popular! In fact, Kanazawa doesn't have many tourist attractions, and they are not very impressive, but Kanazawa is a hub for the Amaharashi Coast and Shirakawa-go, and there are long lines for the bus to Shirakawa-go every day. I love watching the crowds coming and going here, and the excitement and anticipation on their faces before they leave makes me feel the energy of the place. . 🌺 In Kanazawa, I recommend Kenrokuen Garden and the Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of Art. Kenrokuen Garden is exquisite and beautiful (Figures 4️⃣5️⃣6️⃣7️⃣), and the autumn garden is colorful. The Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of Art (Figures 8️⃣9️⃣⬆️) is quiet and has a large, beautiful garden. I especially recommend the Le Musee de H cafe in the museum, which is run by the famous pastry chef Hiroki Tsujiguchi from Ishikawa. I heard that the Tokyo store is hard to get a seat, but I only waited about five minutes to get into the Kanazawa store, and the environment was great, with a whole wall of floor-to-ceiling glass and the museum's courtyard outside (last picture), a perfect combination of architecture, food, humanity, and nature. The most memorable part of Kanazawa was this afternoon tea. . I turned back at the entrance of the famous 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art because there were too many people, and I lost interest 🙁. .
