Visit the highlights of Jiuzhaigou in one day

Here's a note from my personal experience on how to visit the highlights of Jiuzhaigou in one day. Zechawa Valley (left) Highlights: Five-Color Pond, best lighting at 9 am. Order: Get off at Long Lake → Take photos of Long Lake at the viewing platform → Walk 700 m to Five-Color Pond. Rize Valley (right) Highlights: Arrow Bamboo Lake, Five-Flower Lake (best lighting in the morning), Mirror Lake (clear reflections if it's not windy). Order: Arrow Bamboo Lake → Arrow Bamboo Lake Waterfall → Panda Lake → Five-Flower Lake → Pearl Shoal Waterfall → Mirror Lake → Nuorilang Lakes (only accessible on foot from Mirror Lake). Walk from Arrow Bamboo Lake to Arrow Bamboo Lake Waterfall, take the bus between other attractions. Shuzheng Valley (center) (best lighting in the afternoon) Highlights: Tiger Lake, Nuorilang Waterfall Viewing Platform, Shuzheng Lakes Viewing Platform Order: Nuorilang Waterfall and Nuorilang Waterfall Viewing Platform → Rhinoceros Lake → Tiger Lake → Shuzheng Lakes and Shuzheng Lakes Viewing Platform → Princess Lake → Wolong Lake → Sparkling Lake → Double Dragon Lake → Reed Lake (no bus stop, get off at Bonsai Shoal and walk back 300 m), Bonsai Shoal. Walk to Nuorilang Waterfall from Nuorilang Center. After visiting Nuorilang Waterfall, take the bus between other attractions in Shuzheng Valley. Walk from Shuzheng Lakes to Sparkling Lake (1.3 km) and pass Princess Lake (no bus stop). Plan two days to visit all the attractions. If you only have one day, you can only see the highlights of Jiuzhaigou. Follow my highlights and you can easily visit them all in one day. Shuzheng Lakes Viewing Platform is opposite Shuzheng Lakes. You can see the boardwalk behind the white pagoda in Shuzheng Village. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the viewing platform. This is a drone view. Nuorilang Waterfall Viewing Platform is opposite Nuorilang Waterfall. You need to go through the tunnel (cross the road) to get there. This is the location of the Jiuzhaigou promotional video. It takes about 10 minutes to climb the stairs. Finally, about parking 🅿, if your car is parked far from the entrance of Jiuzhaigou, such as at Guoda, don't walk there. There are many private cars and taxis that will take you there for CNY 5–10 per person.
