A Treasure of a Hotel on a Mountainside

On my recent trip to Xishuangbanna, I stayed at a truly memorable hotel. Initially drawn in by its evocative name, I was even more impressed upon arrival, discovering it truly lived up to its reputation. Perched on a mountainside, the hotel offers breathtaking views. Stepping into the lobby, I was immediately captivated by the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, showcasing stunning vistas of Gaozhuang Xishuangjing and the Lancang River. We booked a cliff-view room, which, while not particularly spacious, boasted exquisite design and a distinct "wild luxury" aesthetic. It was simply superb. The hotel's swimming pool is beautifully designed, especially the coconut trees that line its edge, perfectly capturing the essence of Xishuangbanna.
