Compared to Wuzhen, I prefer the vibrant life of Xitang. Xitang, with its many bridges, lanes, and covered corridors. The covered corridors are built along the river, with the residences topped with blue tiles. The stone bridges are low and solid, while the arch bridges undulate. Oar boats tirelessly shuttle through the water alleys. The simply furnished shops also appear quiet and serene. Sitting under the covered corridor, overlooking the wooden boats passing through the bridges. Or brewing a pot of tea in a riverside teahouse, quietly watching the crowd on the opposite bank.
