Half a Day in Inuyama, Totally Worth It 🏯

Inuyama is a city located in Aichi Prefecture, north of Nagoya, and is famous for Inuyama Castle. Also known as "Hakutei Castle," it is one of Japan's five national treasure castles. Therefore, when visiting Nagoya, you absolutely cannot miss this national treasure. I highly recommend setting aside half a day in Nagoya to visit Inuyama. My suggested itinerary is to depart at 11 AM, arrive at 12 PM, and return around 4 PM. Starting from Sakae Station, take the Meijo Line to Heian-dori Station, then transfer to the Kamiida Line to Inuyama Station. The entire journey takes about 50 minutes and costs 750 yen. My route starts from Inuyama Station and passes through the riverside green path, Haritsuna Shrine, Inuyama Castle, and Sankoinari Shrine, finally ending with a stroll and some food in the castle town. These attractions are very close to each other, and leisurely exploring for 3 to 4 hours is sufficient. Tickets for Inuyama Castle can be purchased on-site, with cash or Alipay accepted. The adult ticket price is 550 yen, and for elementary and middle school students, it's 110 yen. As for food, I recommend Gyutaro Hida Beef Sushi in Inuyama, which is very delicious.
