At the foot of Mount Hua! Sanxiantai, even more stunning than Shentian Platform

This trip started from downtown Xi'an, and we unexpectedly found an amazing photo spot. If you want a weekend route that's not too tiring and offers super wide views, you must read this to the end!!! 🚗 Navigation location: Mount Hua Sketching Base You can park for free in the village, but if no villagers stop you, you can actually drive all the way to less than 1 km from the summit, then just follow the direction pointing to the "Bird's Beak." We hiked up, and the dust was really heavy all the way; imagine how dusty it was when cars passed by. 🥾 Route details · Round trip: about 10 km · Elevation gain: ≈600 m · Highest altitude: around 1800 m · Road conditions: The entire route is a wide dirt road winding upward, drivable and easy to walk. On the way down, you can choose a small path by following the ribbons, but there are many thorns in the grass. If you don't mind the effort, it's better to return the same way. 👀 Scenery along the way The first half is rather ordinary, dusty and windy, nothing special. But! When you reach the sign that says "Sanxiantai"—the view instantly opens up, with the majestic Mount Hua straight ahead, which is truly breathtaking. We originally planned to go to Shentian Platform, but due to a last-minute detour, we accidentally ended up here and found an even more amazing spot. 🌾 Must-shoot scenes · The biggest surprise is the reed grass swaying in the wind, perfect for photos · Find the right angle, and you can capture the sacred feeling of Guifeng Mountain, the Great Pyramid of Giza, or even Mount Kailash, haha · The abandoned mining area is spacious, with echoes when you speak, perfect for shouting to relax and relieve stress 🕒 Time suggestion The whole route easily takes 4–5 hours; add more time for photos and breaks. Overall, this is quite an off-the-beaten-path route, with hardly any people on weekends. It's rare to spend a quiet and beautiful weekend on a mountain top—cherish it as you go!
