Hengdaohezi, a romantic century-old Middle East Railway town, is full of Northeastern + Russian charm, and I personally find it more interesting than the snow village. There are many century-old Russian-style buildings and local residences here, as well as the world's largest Siberian tiger park. I would really regret it for you if you come to Harbin and don't visit Hengdaohezi. 🚄 How to get there: It's a 1.5h high-speed train ride from Harbin, with many trains available, and friends who are short on time can even do a special forces extreme one-day tour; 🏠 Where to stay: Stay in a Northeastern-style heated brick bed room, chose a family room that can accommodate four people for just over three hundred, didn't expect it to get cold at one in the morning, wanted to leave a bad review after checking out, but then asked around and the locals said the firewood was piled outside and you had to add it yourself, my bad; Don't expect much from the sanitary conditions, be sure to bring disposable sheets, duvet covers, and toiletries. 🔎 What to do: The town is just the size of two or three football fields, with just two streets, and you're done walking, no need to go to the popular check-in spots, the scenery is everywhere, no need for a guide.
