The Natural Wonder of Huangguoshu Waterfall: A Magnificent Journey

Anshun West Bus Station is right next to the high-speed train station, just a few steps away Travel Tips 👀 Grand Waterfall Scenic Area Upon entering the scenic area, it takes only 5 minutes to find the escalator going up, but it's recommended to walk down instead, which takes about 15 minutes and is not strenuous. There's also a viewing platform on the way, which you'll miss if you take the escalator. After viewing the waterfall, take the escalator back up for an easier return. The Grand Waterfall has a circular route, allowing a full appreciation of its splendor. If you go into the Water Curtain Cave, you'll get wet, so it's best to wear a raincoat. On sunny days, you might even see a rainbow. It takes about 2 hours to enjoy. 👀 Steep Slope Pond Scenic Area This area can only be accessed along one route, and it takes about 15 minutes to see the waterfall. The waterfall is right in front of the furthest viewing platform, which is also a filming location for 'Journey to the West'. There are viewing platforms on both sides of the waterfall, so if one side is crowded, you can switch to the other for photos. There's only one attraction here, and it takes about 1 hour to visit. 👀 Tianxing Bridge Scenic Area A few minutes into the scenic area, you can find a stone stairway with dates, where you can find your birthday and take a photo as a memento. A further 40-minute walk leads to Gao Laozhuang, which marks the halfway point. If you don't want to walk the entire route, you can turn back here. The signs for the second half of the journey are clear, just keep walking. After viewing the waterfall, take the cable car to save energy, then take a ferry bus to Gao Laozhuang. It's a 20-minute uphill walk from Gao Laozhuang to the sightseeing bus station.
