Guangzhou Zoo - So many animals to see.

A half-day visit to this large zoo, which opened in 1958 and covers an area of 42 hectares, is quite enjoyable. The zoo houses and exhibits over 400 species and nearly 5,000 animals from both domestic and international origins. The animals are displayed in different zones according to their types: insects, amphibians and reptiles, birds, primates, felines, and herbivores. Notable animals include China's rare species like the giant panda, golden monkey, South China tiger, milu deer, as well as chimpanzees, giraffes, African elephants, hippos, zebras, rhinos, and black swans. For just 20 yuan, you can feed giraffes, which is quite fun and affordable. It's a great and inexpensive place to visit!
