Dongshan Island | I spent an early summer here

There is the rooftop from 'The Left Ear' movie, and the lighthouse from 'My Wedding'. It's a small island that I've been wanting to visit after seeing it, Dongshan Island. During the off-season, there aren't many people on Dongshan Island, it's quiet and quite beautiful. 🚄 Fly to Quanzhou Airport, then take a high-speed train to Yunxiao Station. After getting off, you can share a ride to the guesthouse, which costs 30 yuan per person, or charter a car for 90-100 yuan. 🏠 I chose a guesthouse in Jinluan Bay. Picked a sea-view room where I could watch the sunrise directly, with a great view. It's a five or six-minute walk downstairs to the beach. Riding an electric scooter to the town takes about 30 minutes. Because I stayed here, I was able to see the sunrise successfully. The mirror sunrise at Jinluan Bay is truly stunning! After seeing sunrises over mountains and lakes, I finally had the chance to witness a seaside sunrise🌅 🛵 It's recommended to rent an electric scooter on the island, 40 yuan per day, very convenient. 🌊 Nanmen Bay: Good for a walk, with snacks and some shops to browse. The rooftop from 'The Left Ear' is located in Nanmen Bay. Fengdong Stone Scenic Area: The entrance fee is 45 yuan. The area is quite large, and I think it's worth visiting. There's Guanyue Temple. There are beautiful seaside plank roads. There's a lighthouse. Nanyu: The white and green lighthouse from 'My Wedding', which you can reach at low tide. Caidie Bay: When I went there, there was no one else on the beach, the sea view was beautiful, and the sand was fine and clean. You can also ride a colorful little train. Tongling Town: There's a night market, old houses, and a vegetable market, all worth slowly exploring and tasting, to really feel the seaside town. 🦐 Seafood: Had a seafood meal, felt the prices were a bit expensive, but the taste was okay. Not Equal to Cafeteria: Korean cuisine, tastes alright, the small shop is very photogenic. Beer Stew Hero: Clay pot stewed seafood, got a bit too sweet towards the end. A Yong Juice Shop: Freshly squeezed juices. Li Tai Mang Salt Baked Prawns: Ordered the spicy flavor, taste was average. Little Wife Sweet Soup: Tried every ingredient, a bit too sweet, but tasted good. Sea Urchins: Encountered someone selling fresh sea urchins at Nanmen Bay, opened and eaten on the spot. First try, very fresh and sweet, worth a try. 🧚Tips Before setting off, it's advised to check the weather. If the weather is good, both the sea and sky will be very blue. If the weather is bad, the wind can be very strong, so it's still necessary to bring a coat. In the end I really quite like Dongshan Island. A small wish related to the sea has been fulfilled🩵
