Beautiful ancient Kedleston Hall

Last month I had a chance to visit Kedleston Hall in Derby. It is so beautiful and you can find a lot of ancient stuff there from different countries around the world. It’s a grand country house designed by the renowned architect Robert Adam in the mid-18th century. Commissioned by Sir Nathaniel Curzon, the hall is a prime example of neoclassical architecture, inspired by ancient Roman villas. The estate boasts opulent interiors, extensive parklands, and beautifully landscaped gardens. Notable features include the Marble Hall, with its grand columns and classical sculptures, and the Saloon, adorned with intricate plasterwork and paintings. Today, Kedleston Hall is managed by the National Trust and serves as a public museum, offering a glimpse into the lavish lifestyle of the British aristocracy during the Georgian era. 📍Address:Derby DE22 5JH
