Danba, the most beautiful, a tranquil village—Zhonglu Tibetan Village

Zhonglu Tibetan Village is located in the northeastern part of Danba County, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province, at an altitude of 2100 meters, with a population of more than 3600. White Tibetan houses and golden-roofed temples are faintly visible under the clear blue sky, colorful yet without any sense of disorder. 'Zhonglu' in Tibetan means 'a place yearned for by gods and men'! The village has ancient watchtowers with a long history, is backed by the famous Moerduo Sacred Mountain, and is complemented by the high mountain gorges of the Dadu River, making the whole village unique and mysterious. Compared to the well-known Jiaju Tibetan Village, Zhonglu is a bit more tranquil, giving visitors the feeling of strolling through an earthly paradise. Especially in autumn, Zhonglu Tibetan Village is filled with the fragrance of melons and fruits, with trees laden with heavy pomegranates, pears, apples... You can rent a small car to the best spot to view the entire village, especially at sunset, when the whole village is bathed in the afterglow of the setting sun. Admission: Free Transportation: At the head of Danba Bridge in Danba County town, there is a yellow rural bus going up the mountain; it can take you to the hotel, with prices varying depending on the distance to the hotel and the number of people (ranging from 12 to 50).
