To get to Bangchui Island in Dalian, taking the bus is not very convenient, so you might consider taking a taxi. This scenic spot is mainly characterized by mountains, sea, islands, and beaches. It is surrounded by mountains on three sides and faces the sea on one side, with mountains encircling the north and a vast sea area and flat sandy beaches to the south. The origin of the name 'Bangchui Island' comes from a small island that stands abruptly not far from the shore, which, when viewed from a distance, greatly resembles a laundry beater used by farmers, hence the name. Scattered across the island are villas of various styles, like flowers strewn across a lush meadow. This is the famous Bangchui Island Hotel, which used to be a summer retreat and recuperation spot for national leaders.
