Just a short distance from the beach, the old town of Corfu revealed its rich history. Venetian-style buildings with colorful shutters stood proudly against the backdrop of the blue sky. Climbing to the top of the Old Fortress, I was rewarded with a breathtaking view—the deep blue sea merging with the sky, while the ancient stone walls glowed in the golden light of the setting sun.
