During the Taiping Xingguo period of Emperor Taizong of the Song Dynasty (976-984 AD), the Northern Song Dynasty established the Taiping Fort in the Left River Path, with its administrative center located in the Huxing Community of Taiping Street, Jiangzhou District, Chongzuo City, from which the name Taiping originated. Subsequently, during the Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties, Taiping Road and Taiping Prefecture were established one after another, and the history has spanned over 1000 years. The ancient city is surrounded by the Left River on three sides, occupying unique natural resources. Relying on the beautiful mountains and rivers, the scenery is naturally formed.
