I stayed in Chongqing with my friends for a few days and didn't want to leave.

After nearly a year of preparation and trial operation, the hotel finally opened as New World Hotel & Resort Chongqing at the end of last month. The hotel is in a great location, adjacent to the national tourist attraction Xiuhu Park, and occupies the heart of the lake on the Banshan Yuhu Peninsula, making it the Chongqing version of "one island, one hotel." First, the hardware. The lobby is spacious and grand. The combination of marble and metal looks stylish and luxurious. The sunken atrium outside the lobby features flowing water, rockeries, and green plants. It's very comfortable to sit by the window for breakfast. I stayed in Executive Room 2501. The room is large, about 60+ square meters. The large windows offer a panoramic view of the scenery outside. The handwritten card with the welcome fruit shows the hotel's attention to detail. The double washbasin in the bathroom is a nice touch. The high-standard fitness center is equipped with a full set of imported fitness equipment. The pool is even more impressive, longer than many gym pools. As a resort hotel, the spa is a must. The therapists are all from abroad, and their techniques are good. We stayed in a Lake View Tatami Suite. The room is decorated in a natural wood style, spacious, and offers a great view of Xiuhu Lake! The room has a coffee machine and smart curtains! In the afternoon, we took the kids to the lower level of the hotel to do crafts! There are ceramic dolls to color, clay DIY, twist sticks, intangible cultural heritage lacquer fans, and scarf tie-dyeing. The activity room is next to the gym and swimming pool, so dads can work out here. It's very convenient! For dinner, we stayed in a Lake View Tatami Suite.
