Oriental Switzerland Gaoyi Ridge Stunningly Beautiful

Take You to Chenzhou Fourth Stop: Gaoyi Ridge Scenic Area Gaoyi Ridge, a place forgotten by God, is known as the Oriental Switzerland. The scenery here is picturesque and unique. If you haven't been to Gaoyi Ridge, you haven't been to Chenzhou. It is located at the junction of Qiaokou Town in Suxian District, Chenzhou City, Hunan Province, and Zixing City. Originally part of the Feitian Mountain National Geopark, it is now independently developed and is considered on par with the Feitian Mountain Scenic Area, even surpassing it in some respects. Gaoyi Ridge features typical Danxia landforms, integrating mountains, water, springs, caves, villages, cliffs, and plains. Unlike other Danxia landforms, Gaoyi Ridge is adorned with numerous beautiful small lakes around the mountains. The red rocks, green water, perilous villages, and strange ravines create a harmonious and beautiful scene. The lake surface is as calm as a mirror, reflecting the purplish-red mountains and the blue sky with white clouds, creating a poetic, picturesque, dreamy, and surreal landscape. The mountains gain more spirituality because of the water, and the water appears more charming because of the mountains, complementing each other perfectly. When you reach the Dragon Ridge of Gaoyi, you will see cliffs all around, as if they were cut by an axe. The peaks stand independently, yet are arranged in an orderly manner, looking at and guarding each other, closely connected. Looking far into the distance, you will find that the shape of the entire mountain resembles a huge natural armchair, hence the name Gaoyi Ridge. The green water surrounds the front of the chair, marveling at the wonders of nature.
