The Finn Juhl House: Sustainable Design That's Still in Style

📕I learned about Finn Juhl, one of Denmark's four great design giants, in a book called *Copenhagen on Four Legs*. This book introduces many classic Danish chair designs and also deeply imprinted the Finn Juhl House in my mind. 🇩🇰On our second trip to Copenhagen, we decided to spend half a day here, visiting the home of this design master with a sense of pilgrimage. - 🎨This is Finn Juhl's former residence and design laboratory, now open to the public as a museum with a combined ticket with the Ordrupgaard art museum. 🪑The house displays a large number of Finn Juhl's famous designs (Chieftain Chair, Poet Sofa, 45 Chair, etc.) and private collections. Open bookshelves and teak tables and chairs run throughout the house. Each space has no special functional division, emphasizing the fluidity and artistry of the furniture and space. The mid-century decoration design is not outdated even now. This is probably the meaning of classic design. - 💡Tips: The art museum in the park is also worth visiting. Both the architecture and the exhibits can be enjoyed for a long time, so it is recommended to allow more time.
