It is also the museum with the most comprehensive collection of Makonde woodcarvings in terms of quantity, variety, and artistic level in China. ✔【Wei Xiaoming Art Museum】 Located in the northwest corner of the park, Wei Xiaoming is a famous Chinese sculptor, printmaker, professor at the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University, and vice-chairman of the Beijing Artists Association. ✔The museum permanently exhibits 232 sculptures by Wei Xiaoming, as well as 178 pieces of prints, illustrations, watercolors, sketches, oil paintings, and design drafts, almost encompassing all of Wei Xiaoming's artworks since the 1980s and will continue to collect all of his works. ✔【Changchun Sculpture Museum】 Located in the southeast corner of the park, it is currently the largest sculpture museum in China, designed by the Chinese Academy of Engineering academician and famous architect Cheng Taining. Following the design concept of 'aligning with heaven and earth, carving time,' the overall architecture emerges like a giant rock breaking through the soil, strong and substantial. 👉🏻【Changchun Sculpture Art Museum】 There are three floors: The basement is the 'Peng Zushu Art Gallery,' where you can see the micro-carved Dream of the Red Chamber, which is quite impressive. There is also a '3D Art Experience Hall' and a '3D Scenic Area Exhibition Zone,' perfectly showcasing the technological benefits brought by 3D technology. 👉🏻The first floor is the international exhibition hall of the sculpture museum, where you can see many foreign sculptures.
