Central square at Civic Center, Shenzhen

A square located on both sides of the large and iconic Civic Center building in the center of Futian district, Shenzhen. This is similar to a park and is a popular area for people to hang out, kids to play and people to relax and eat/drink. Located nearby this square is the large shenzhen book mall, a large theater, the Childrens Palace and a medium sized mall. There are many trees, statues and features in this park, including a fish pond, large water feature wall and several stone paths for walking around the square. There are large open areas where many parents will allow their children to play together. There are also vending machines and fresh orange juice dispensing robots, as well as many restaurants on either sides of the square. The square is located a short distance from Lianhuashan park.
