"Paint" It Green—New Era Beautiful Countryside Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition.

Building a beautiful China is an important goal of building a modern socialist country in all respects and an important part of realizing the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation. On the new journey in the new era, people of all ethnic groups across the country are accelerating the construction of a beautiful China where humanity and nature coexist in harmony with a higher stance, broader vision, and greater efforts. To showcase the achievements of beautiful countryside construction in the new era, the Counsellors' Office of the State Council and the Central Research Institute of Culture and History (Chinese Poetry Institute) have carefully planned and arranged, organized targeted field trips and creation, actively carried out exchanges and discussions, and organized nearly 100 painting and calligraphy works, which are exhibited in the National Art Museum of China under the name of "Paint" It Green—New Era Beautiful Countryside Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition. The nearly 100 works on display include both traditional Chinese paintings and oil paintings. They not only show the delicate brushstrokes and infinite charm of traditional Chinese ink painting, but also the unique colors and light and shadow effects of oil painting, which are more flavorful in contrast. Chinese calligraphy is full of love and praise for the beautiful countryside in its rhythm. "The mountains and fields are green, the rivers are white, and the rain is like smoke in the cuckoo's voice," "The fields are full of rice flowers, and the green willows are between the clear springs," "The oriole also loves the new coolness, flying over the green mountains and crying."
