I got up at 5:30 to catch the stunning sunrise on Weizhou Island.

The best place to watch the sunrise on Weizhou Island in autumn and winter is Yanwu Theater. Take a boat to Xijiao Wharf on Weizhou Island, and walk for two or three minutes to the beach. The hotel offers a shuttle service to the wharf. The beach is a public area and is free. The beach is large, with rough waves. The view of the sunrise is great, and there are not many people. You can watch the whole sunrise if the weather is good. The whole sunrise viewing time is around 5:40–7:30. We arrived there at 6:00 today and could already see the morning glow.
