Paying Respects to Deities.. Guangdong Shrine

Guangdong Shrine (Kwong Siew Association) Kwong Siew Hospital Foundation .. Located on Charoen Krung Road, in the Yaowarat area, opposite Wat Mangkon MRT Station .. The Guangdong Shrine was established during the reign of King Rama V by Chinese immigrants from Guangdong Province, China .. The main deity of the shrine is "Sam Po Huk Chou" or as the sign says "Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva" .. Inside the shrine, there is a statue of Guan Yin holding a medicine pill and divine water. On the right side, there are statues of Guan Yu, Confucius, the Jade Emperor (Ngeng Chang Ti Chun), and Lu Ban .. Additionally, there are many other deities and immortals to pay respects to and pray for good health and blessings
