Located above Brisbane in Queensland, the Sunshine Coast can be described as the second Gold Coast. It's not a big city until you reach the GC, but a laid-back town where everyone is active from early in the morning, creating a great atmosphere. The walkway along the beach is filled with cafes, surfers, and picnickers every day. Of course, going to a restaurant and eating delicious food is great, but having a picnic and eating and drinking while watching the sunset is also fantastic. I think transportation is relatively convenient, with plenty of buses and bus stops.

Sea Life Sunshine Coast is a great place to visit, especially for families and kids. The aquarium is clean, well-organised, and has a good variety of marine animals. Sea Life in the Sunshine Coast, Australia is a wonderful time for people of all ages. Knowledgeable staff, live seal performances, touch tanks (where you can pat animals) and an underwater walkway in which you can watch turtles, sharks, and other aquatic animals. Make sure to compare the in person prices for tickets to Trip.com, they were a bit more expensive in person but I booked on trip.com on the spot and saved some money. We parked at SEA LIFE Mooloolaba (plenty of space, great spot!), then walked just 3 minutes to reach the golden sands. But still peaceful and friendly Great for people-watching, swimming, sunbathing, and just soaking up the views Views of the Pacific Ocean, surfers catching waves, and families building sandcastles—pure Aussie joy TIP: Pack a picnic or beach mat and settle in for a few hours.
