White Sands, Blue Waters @ Mindil Beach
#2023travelwish #darwin #australia #beachview #beachlife #scenic #view #mindilbeach
Another beautiful beach in Darwin is located at Mindil Beach. This is an underated beach that not many will come unless there is the Mindil Beach Sunset Markets which happens on on last thursdays of the month. But the Mindil Beach Sunset Market has closed and will be reopening on the 27th April 2023 next year!
So if you want photogenic spots and have all the time in the world to take with no people, this is the place to go to! Especially in the afternoon, this place can be quite hot, but the beach is totally empty which allows you to take beautiful shots overlooking the white sandy beaches and blue waves. Also, a great place for a pinic under one of the many trees located near the beach, parking here is also free too!
One ideal dream desination to go too should be Tasmania, where they have many beautiful lakes and beaches overlooking the beautiful sunset. Definitely wish to go back there again if i do have the chance.
The Saturday Parap Village Market - Darwin
#2023travelwish #australia #farmersmarket #weekend #foodie #aussie #weekendmarket #darwin
Darwin is located in the northern territory in australia where it is a small little city where everything is close by but not walkable. Everything is basically just a 10/15mins drive away.
Some say it is a boring city, well darwin is like many other australia city just abit smaller.
They do have farmers market that open on saturday and sundays where the Parap Village Market is a must go on saturday. Most of their stalls are open from 0730 in the morning. From food like laksa, vietnamese, thai, kebab, pies and such. Mostly asian. Also, there are grocceries like fresh vegetables and fruits, some arts and craft and even artisan breads and cheeses too.
I am someone who loves australia, although i have been there many times, it is still a dream vacation for me especially to sydney, melbourne or tasmania!
The Collection Lab Of Arts
The Darwin Museum and Art Gallery has several exhibition going on. But for art lovers, you are definitely in for a treat.
There is an area called the collection lab where the museum keeps famous and popular art collection on the walls which are said to be rarely seen on showcase. Hiking In The City Of Darwin
Do not have a car in darwin and want to do some simple hiking while enjoying the beautiful sunset of darwin?
You should hate to the Bicentennial Park located at Esplanade, Darwin City NT 0800 where you are able to do some hiking, jogging and even cycling. For those that would want to hike, you can walk down to the beaches and its a hike where you will see many locals also bringing their dogs for a walk while enjoying the beautiful Skyline of the evening sun setting. This is also a popular tourists attraction as there are memorials, even bbq pits for those who just wants to relax and chill after a great walk here in Bicentennial Park.

Spent 2018 Summer in Darwin, visiting the Mindil Beach to expotentially feel the chill and relax. The Litchfield National Park features a lot of waterfalls and termite mounds including this giant one. Crococsarus Cove houses a pool of crocodile and aligators superstars and nah, not ballsy enough to feel that Cage of Death but reptiles like these are fine.

Darwin is one of my favorite places in the world! It’s something between Australia and Thailand. There I saw the best sunsets of my life! it’s a small city but it has a beautiful coastline, nice parks, cool markets and so many crocodiles!!!
On the city beach on the Indian Ocean, the sea breeze touches everyone's face at night, the market on the beach is lit up with lights, and the young drummer with silver stud earrings is sweating on the stage. The indigenous aunts danced in rhythm, and the onlookers applauded and cheered without hesitation. Buy a few skewers of sauce-filled meat, and then have a milkshake that mixes a variety of fruits and eat while you are shopping. Darwin is like this.

Darwin Museum Underground WWII Oil Storage Tunnels
#australiatrip What a fascinating place!
We were met by Scott who gave us a terrific run down and then off we went through the tunnels. The recorded information was great but a little difficult to wait for the end before moving through to each area. A very worthwhile place to visit with a lot of historical information to read. A great experience and adventure indeed!
