Anji Family Trip│The Ultimate Two-Day One-Night Guide is Here!
When traveling with kids in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai, there’s probably no better place than Anji! This time, we took the kids to Zhongnan Baicaoyuan in Anji for some fun.
This place combines nature, animals, and entertainment, allowing children to play freely while parents can relax and enjoy the time with their kids!
📍Location: Zhongnan Baicaoyuan, Anji County, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province
Day 1:
🏨Stay:
We stayed at Anji Zhongnan Resort · Tiger Hotel. As soon as the kids entered the room, they saw all kinds of tiger elements 🐯. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a large bathtub 🛁 and huge floor-to-ceiling windows. From the room, you could see the adorable tigers, and the kids were jumping with excitement.
🍽️Dining:
We had dinner at the conference center opposite the Lion King Hotel, and the food was delicious. Breakfast was at the Tiger Restaurant, which offered a wide variety of buffet options. The kids ate a lot!
🎡What to play:
After dinner, we took the kids to the playground, located downhill from the hotel with an elevator directly to the third floor. Inside, there were slides 🛝, trampolines, climbing nets, and more. The second floor had a gym and a billiard room, so even the dads had fun!
Of course, the Galloping Horse Show was a must-see.
Time: 9:00-9:10 AM and 2:00-2:10 PM
Location: Nordic Camp, accessible by hotel shuttle bus
The galloping horses were truly spectacular!
We also took the kids on the European Ranch mini train, passing by models of Jinshan Waterfall, dinosaurs, insects, King Kong, and more. The train stopped at three stations where kids could get off to feed pigs 🐖, alpacas, and kangaroos. The kids didn’t want to leave!
Day 2:
After breakfast, we headed straight to Zhongnan Baicaoyuan! Here’s the guide ⬇️
🎫Tickets and Transportation:
- Tickets: Buying online is more cost-effective. Adult tickets are about 200 RMB, and children under 1.2 meters are free. It’s recommended to buy family packages for better value!
- Opening hours: 7:45 AM - 5:30 PM (arrive early to avoid crowds)
- On-site transportation: Sightseeing cars cost 10 RMB per person per trip, or you can rent a car for 1.6 RMB per minute. With kids, it’s better to take the sightseeing car; otherwise, moms will get really tired, haha.
How to enjoy the three main themes:
🚂 Route: Take the sightseeing car directly to the end and visit the amusement park → zoo → botanical garden in order to avoid backtracking.
1️⃣ 🎢 Happy World (Amusement Park)
- Super cool rides: roller coaster, giant pendulum, zip line (suitable for kids over 1.4 meters)
- Family rides: carousel, Ferris wheel, bumper cars, rapids ride (very friendly for younger kids)
- Popular photo spot: glass plank road drifting with panoramic views, super stunning!
2️⃣ 🐘 Animal World
- Animal interactions: feed giraffes, horse riding, close contact with alpacas. The kids really couldn’t get enough, haha.
3️⃣ 🌳 Botanical Garden
- Nature exploration: boating on the quiet lake, bamboo forest maze adventure
- Photo ops 📷: Manila lawn, flower sea, every shot looks amazing
Little tips:
☑️ Wear comfortable sports shoes; the park is huge, and easy outfits make the fun last longer!
☑️ There are many mosquitoes outdoors, so remember to bring mosquito repellent for the kids.
☑️ The drifting ride is fun, but be sure to bring an extra set of clothes!
