I like staying at this Motel 6 when we come to Las Cruces because it is centrally located to all the places we go to and it is very clean. The check in people at the front counter are always polite and helpful with any concerns. We also never have a problem with bringing our fur baby with us.

Gallup is located in western New Mexico, not far from Arizona. You can consider staying here and arrive at the Grand Canyon at noon the next day. The hotel has complete facilities, clean and tidy, quiet surroundings, and good service. The price is a little bit expensive.

It's relatively clean for this price. The pillowcases are a bit damp, but the sheets are OK. The bathroom is clean. After the plane arrived at night, I waited for 30 minutes and made two or three phone calls before the hotel came to pick me up, but the drivers I met were very enthusiastic. Breakfast included waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, oats, potatoes, etc., and the taste was good. Overall it was OK.

Fabulous experience everything to rave about and nothing to complain. Allowed to check in early, all my requests were accommodated. High floor, pool view, near the office. Room had coffeemaker, refrigerator and microwave, all in good condition. Room was clean and had flooring instead of carpet. Didn't use the pool, but it was sparkling and nice to look at. Thought the TV wasn't working but one call to the front desk and they walked me through how to navigate it. Front door was heavy and had sturdy locks with dead bolt. Breakfast was great. Only saw the unhoused near property once but not actually on it. When leaving I needed ice hadn't noticed ice machine went to the office to inquire. They said no working ice machine on property , but took huge ice bag of ice out of their freezer and gave me enough to fill my ice chest. Above and beyond! Do not hesitate to ask front desk for anything you need.I am confident they will make every attempt to accommodate. My son attends NMSU and I make several trips to Las Cruces every year. Strayed from my old hotel because they changed ownership and doubled their prices, (lucky me!) Because i've now found my new favorite hotel. I plan to return in both November.abd December i won't have to waste time shopping hotels.Thank you Days Inn and your wonderful front desk gals! Wish I would have gotten thier names, they are doing a wonderful job. Maids seemed to be doing what they're supposed to do and the young man I saw cleaning the pool was working hard every time I saw him. I look forward to seeing all of you again soon. Below are pictures of my actual room. I tried to be nosy when Passing by other rooms that maids were cleaning. They all looked fresh and well taken care of.

Thank goodness was able to make coffee in the room -super noisy. People were up after midnight and woke up super early around 530am. GGuest UserA shower is not simply a shower for me. A shower is a way of acclimating myself to the lucidity required to engage in everyday life. It is a way to mentally and physically prepare myself for whatever may lie ahead for me for the day. It's a routine that borders on a spiritual ritual to allow myself to function in the world at my maximum potential. I am not exaggerating, then, when I say my shower at The Inn and Spa at Loretto was one of the most uncomfortable experiences in my life. I awoke early in the morning in eager anticipation to enjoy everything Santa Fe has to offer, and as I watched the sun rise over the Sangre de Christo Mountains, marveling at the beauty of the New Mexico sunrise. All that was left for me was to take my shower and prepare for the day. Nothing could have prepared me for what happened next. I stepped into the bathroom and made my way over to the shower, and turned the knob as I always would to roughly halfway to initiate the process. As I anxiously waited to begin my shower routine, the bathroom quickly filled with steam. After the cool morning air this felt nice at first, but of course I didn't want to scald myself! I turned the faucet back towards the cool side as I stepped into the shower, expecting that I understood where I would reach a ”warm” temperature. Within seconds I was blasted with ice cold water as if straight from a glacier. Pain shot up my spine to my neck as the icy water rained upon me, and I reflexively turned the knob back towards the hot side, thinking I surely had found the ”happy medium”. Within moments I was engulfed in red hot water that felt as if it had just been boiled in a tea pot across my face and neck, stunning me yet again. Frustrated, I moved the shower head directly to the floor, spraying my feet with the same steaming water. I then carefully moved the faucet, one centimeter at a time towards the cold side, gauging the point at which the water would begin to cool. Amazingly, there was no change. After 10 or so careful movements of the knob, the water began to cool, to my great relief. However, within moments the ice cold water returned, once again sending shivers up my spine. After more experimentation and constant discomfort, it became clear that there were only two options for this shower: burning hot or ice cold. The rest of my shower was spent doing a horrible dance of moving between excessively hot and cold water, moving my body out of the water frequently to minimize the pain. I ultimately managed to do the bare minimum necessary to get myself clean, with the chance of a relaxing and revitalizing experience clearly being out of the question. This is not how I would want anyone to start their day, and I feel this should be unacceptable for a hotel with the stature and reputation of The Inn and Spa at Loretto. While the rest of my experience there was quite nice, this shower left me with an awful feeling for much of my day. I hope they are able to ensure that future guests do not have to go through an experience like this.

JJavier A. RoqueThe customer service was initially great upon check in. Since I have been driving cross country I didn’t really have time to check the details about the parking. When arrived I was told parking was booked and I told I could Park in the side street between the convenient store and the hotel. My car got broken into that night or early morning. Now the staff was good at that moment letting me use the room a little longer to figure out what to do and make sure the police report was good a ect. They had a camera on that street facing my car. This is were the customer service falls. Its been over a week of me ask and calling to request the video footage of the incident and I keep getting pushed to the side. Apparently no one know the situation with me getting the footage but the manager and the so called security team thats in charge with the videos footage. I have sent an email requesting it and have not received nothing. No call back in regards to the video footage. This is highly unprofessional when a customer had their vehicle broken into when staying on their property. I should have gotten the footage at least a day or two after the incident but a full week is crazy and i have to wait for a manager to be on site on Tuesday to get my situation resolved! Unprofessional and unacceptable.

MMRCarguy⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ After an extremely long family day at the Grand Canyon, we arrived at the hotel very late and completely exhausted. From the moment we walked in, the experience turned around thanks to the amazing staff. I especially want to recognize Mona, who was absolutely incredible. She immediately made my family feel welcome and taken care of, even though it was late and we were clearly worn out from the day. Mona was kind, patient, and genuinely helpful, making sure we had everything we needed to get settled quickly and comfortably. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed after such a long day of travel and exploring. But it was Mona’s level of service that really stood out. People like her make a huge difference and are the reason we would absolutely stay here again. Thank you again, Mona, for taking such great care of my family—it meant a lot after such a long day!

GGuest UserOverall this hotel is good if you just need a bed and a warm shower. The staff were friendly and very helpful! This is a no frills stay but gives you the necessities and a safe spot within the city. The hotel is gated to keep unwanted visitors out and our rental car was safe in the lot. The beds aren’t the nicest, very stiff, and the pillows were very flat- but for the price per night it was fine. We didn’t spend any time in the room except to shower and sleep- which this hotel was perfect for lol. Our room had a smoke smell to it, but we were fine dealing with it. Notified the front deals and they made sure to make a note of it so we weren’t charged smoking fee. Pros: cheap, nice helpful staff, hot shower, good water pressure, gated lot, decently safer area than further into Albuquerque.. Cons: hard bed, flat pillows, thin towels, landlord special upkeep lol.

GGuest UserWe have stayed at Best Western Discovery Inn twice now within a months time and we have been extremely pleased with our stays. I particularly love the convenience of the 'old' motel style where you have your own individual entry door. This convenience far outweighs dragging your luggage through the lobby and down the endless hallway. The staff was excellent, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasty and varied. But the breakfast area was spotless, so well taken care of by the staff. I'm sorry that I didn't get the woman's name that seemed in charge because she obviously took pride in presenting a clean and well stocked amenity for her customers! Lastly, the price was so fair and reasonable. We will remember this hotel for future trips. Thank you for a very pleasant experience!

WWebsHard to navigate and find at night. Minimal instructions communicated upon booking as to how to get your key and where your room is. Not good or no signage for property, parking, check in etc. the owner answered when I called right away and was kind. I loved the setting, layout and idyllic spot. The stars at night are beautiful and the location is close driving to all you’d need. The room was super cute. Nice decor and layout. The fireplace is the biggest win. It was a cozy, quaint and quiet place to stay. It was in need of vacuuming. Bed and sheets clean and had all you needed to stay. It was a thoughtful set up with ceiling fan, heat, coffee, glassware, fridge and ice available. If there was a hot tub we may come back, but will check other areas next time.

CCappy 2021As advertised, a luttle rough around the edges as they are rennovating the prperty. And as advertised (but a point of confusion) there is a breakfast served behind white door in room to left of lobby for check in. Check in at glass doirs near street and ring bell if dont see anyone at desk and doors locked. The rooms are in new condition but need touch up paint and the concrete under 1st floor rooms wasnt leveled good so some of the new wood flooring on top has soft spots due to no concrete underneath. Furniture in banged up condition but sturdy. Beds are comfortable and new beddings and towels. New plumbing, flooring and drywall/paint. Good exterior lighting and security cameras at night. Quiet place despite a dozen or so cars.
