Bed and Boat Aopayoon Resort

We had booked a ”sea view” room, which is in fact one of the 2 rooms closest to the hotel entrance/exit) with a window giving you a little bit of a lake view. You have to cross the street, walk a few meters and pass the trees to have a real good view of the lake. A little bit of an overselling? Probably yes, but this was not a big deal for us. The first of the 2 rooms meeting the definition of that we had booked had a poor AC (35° and not going down - I trust it will be fixed fast, if not done already). The gentleman managing the place was kind enough to give us the other one (which luckily was available!). It was small, clean and tidy with a good bathroom. Nothing fancy about it, yet nice; we felt good (and the AC worked wonderfully to bring the temperature down to 24/25°). The owner allowed us to use his fridge to stock some of our fresh products (no fridge in the room). The small car park across the street is convenient. Coffee is made available in the morning. No breakfast. The hotel is a few kilometers away from the city. Overall, we were satisfied with our overnight stay.
Sripakpra Boutique Resort Phatthalung

The entry into the hotel can be confusing as it is divided into 2 zones each having its own parking area and reception, so if you are driving watch carefully for the signs. The hotel is constructed above a lagoon so it is quite different. It's location is isolated but the hotel has a good restaurant and prices there were reasonable. Note if you use the restaurant I suggest paying directly because if you charge to your room a 17% service fee is added. Our room was attractively decorated and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the location is very quiet. The bathroom is a good size and the shower was good. There was a nice balcony overlooking the lagoon. Breakfast was simple but adequate. The staff were all very friendly and helpful but many of them had limited English which can lead to some confusion. One morning my wife ordered one fried egg and got an omelet while I ordered 2 fried eggs with ham and sausage but only got the eggs. The other mornings there was someone cooking the eggs outside so we just went there and ordered our eggs.
Siva Royal Hotel

Good clean hotel with excellent parking especially for motorcycle riders who use this as a stopover on their way North or South. Breakfast very so so but the cafe serves good local food except closes at 8:30pm. If you arrive after this time there is a small air-conditioned restaurant outside on the main road which serves good local and western food. This hotel is ok just for an overnight stopover.

this hotel has just opened, magnificent, tastefully decorated, large room, large bed, beautiful bathroom with a large shower. The outdoor spaces invite you to relax or sunbathing and the restaurant is magnificent. The breakfast buffet is exceptional, very varied and delicious. The staff is attentive, professional and always smiling. the location is perfect, lots of possibilities for excursions and visits. the hotel can provide you with information. In short, everything is perfect, good value for money, excellent restaurant, and everything is very clean. An unforgettable stay and we will come back. we wish you all the best and full success!
City Park Hotel

City Park is a no frills hotel with large, clean and comfortable rooms. As a traveller its best feature is the large car park just outside the ground floor rooms, making it simple to unload and load my scooter. There are lots of restaurants and stalls within walking distance. This is my favourite hotel in Phattalung and I have stayed here several times already.
The Centris Hotel Phatthalung
4.7/575 Reviews
It was a breath of fresh air stepping into the Centris after a string of mediocre hotels on our way south. I particularly appreciated the concierge who guided us into the parking space and carried our bags from the car to the room, and back to the car when we left. The room is comfortable, good air-con that doesn't blow directly onto the bed, a balcony big enough for chair and table, four pillows on the king bed. Cable TV with English speaking channels, CNN, SKYE and HBO, which was a bonus. We ordered room service Steak and beer for B199 which was great. Location is good in the centre of town. At 900 Baht I paid a little more than most, but for my money it was well worth it. I'm giving it five.

Super location just next to boating renting service. Friendly owner also operate small eatery provided tasty food with reasonable price. However, need to pay attention to the danger posted by sliding door after the steep staircase to elderly and children. Kettle need descaling to remove rust & calcium deposite.
Merdelong Hotel

A good hotel located next to the train station. The room was definitely large, well maintained and with all the necessary for a stay. The room was cleaned carefully every day. The staff was very available. There was coffee and tea in the lobby every hour of the day.
Sanfhan Resort

Friendly and service oriented staff. Comfortable bed. The facilities in the room is good. Water pressure is good. Nearby to food places. If you want some peace and quiet in a village location this is the place to go. Near to the hot spring. Just don't order the food that they tie up with a local restaurant. It didn't taste that great.
Ho Fah Hotel

It is a good room for what you pay. Cold water is not a problem for me and actually, the shower had good pressure, the room is clean and the bed is acceptably comfortable. However, and even though they told me beforehand the noise from the street at night was quite loud. It would be great if they could provide you with earplugs as they cost nothing and it would be of great help. The staff and owners are really friendly and helpful and that's a great plus for me.
