Moxy Tromso

Stayed for 2 nights! The room was cosy, and cute. The bed was really hard though, but the pillows were thick and soft! It was tidy and clean, and the bathroom was great with good pressure in the shower! The rooms had a TV with chromecast! Also the lights in the room were easy to control :) The hotel is really close to airport and traffic, but it's well isolated so we didn't get bothered by the noise of the traffic. As mentioned the hotel is close to ”jekta”, just a few minutes walk. And it's not a long drive if you prefer to bathe at ”Tromsø badet” It's easy to get there by car, but if you don't like driving there is a bus stop for route 28 right beside the hotel which makes it easier to travel to the mainland and back. Reception, bar and breakfast is at the top floor, with lot of room to he social or just enjoy the sight alone. They also had board games you could use! The only REALLY minus of our stay were that the service were a bit slow. We asked for help with the TV several times without luck. But I am not to mad about it due to few personel and high workload while we were there. (And the personel were really nice and polite) The hotel may wanna make an easier note that breakfast is NOT included in the room (as they traditionally are in tromsoe). And also how much breakfast cost! On your website it only says when breakfast is served (and that it's free until March 2024, which it were not). We were informed in the morning breakfast was 199 NOK per person, luckily with shopping center close by, and food market breakfast is easy to acquire. To sum it up: will stay at the hotel next time as well!

The place is really great, just at the centre of Tromsø, next to the beautiful port and the bus centre; the restaurants next to the hotel are amazing as well. My breakfast was included, and I really enjoyed the breakfast, lots of choice with great flavors! Strongly recommended!!!
Tromsø Lodge & Camping

The service exceeded expectations, and the front desk staff was very enthusiastic and willing to provide additional help. The cabin is very warm, clean and tidy as typical of Northern Europe, fully equipped for cooking, and will stay there if you have the opportunity

We stayed here 2 nights August 2022. Arrived a little early but no problem as our room was ready. Clean room with great shower! Staff were very polite and helpful. Afternoon snack of cake was superb! 24 hour free tea and coffee available. Evening meal was excellent, buffet style with lots of bread/salad and one main meal , first night we had salmon which was delicious and plentiful second night was chicken. Breakfast was also excellent with lots to choose. Very central location. Will definitely return and would recommend highly if you’re visiting Tromso
Comfort Hotel Xpress Tromsø

Easy to locate and walking distance from bus stop and supermarket. Got to do self check in on ipad and mine keep having error. The hotel guy at counter helped me with check in and want to charge me for the hotel room which I had already paid via Trip app. Pls be careful if you're doing manual check in with the hotel staff. Decent size for 2pax but opening 2 luggages was quite an issue because of limited floor space.
Vollan Gjestestue
4.4/521 Reviews
Nestled in a valley surrounded by lush green mountains, Vollan ‘Guesthouse’ is a gem of a hotel. There is very little to Nordkjosbotn apart from the new Mack brewery and the junction of two of the North’s main highways (E6 and E8), but the nice location and quality of this hotel makes it an ideal place for long-distance travellers to stay en route. The rooms are modern, spacious, nicely appointed and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was superb, with non-standard items such as chorizo, blue cheese, different kinds of smoked fish and a lovely fruit selection. Reflecting its location, the cafe is somehow a more salubrious, Scandinavian version of the British transport cafe, serving everything from coffee, cakes and sandwiches to full meals with basic but wholesome ingredients. Portions are generous and the food is excellent - Scandinavian home cooking at reasonable prices, not overpriced and no bogus gastronomy. Although Nordkjosbotn is a stopping off point rather than a destination, this was definitely the nicest hotel I stayed in, during a 3-week trip in Arctic Norway. So I would advise anyone on such a trip to plan to stop off there.
Smarthotel Tromsø

Would happily stay again. Room was clean and tidy. Shower was great. The room was a little on the small side for travelling with so much luggage (we packed far too much) however, it was exactly as described and you got exactly what you paid for. We felt the the price was very reasonable in comparison to other hotels. We never had breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on that. After our 3 night stay we were heading out onto an adventure excursion for two nights. The staff kindly allowed us to store our excess luggage in the storage room with no extra charge after we had checked out. Great hotel if you are out and about visiting the city. Perfect for a good nights sleep!
Radisson Blu Hotel, Tromso

Location was by the harbour and really in downtown Tromso - walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Also where many tours have their pick up - so it's really convenient. Check-in staff was really polite and helpful - appreciate that. Room was also very clean and well maintained - though the toilet felt slightly dated. Overall, highly recommend.
Clarion Collection Hotel Aurora
4.3/5118 Reviews
We arrived at the hotel after a long day of travelling. Hotel Aurora is situated next to the water's edge and is within walking distance of everything that you'd need during your visit, including across the river to the Arctic Cathedral. The hotel was beautifully lit, very trendy and immaculately clean. Staff were extremely friendly and wlecoming on our arrival. We were given a room on the corner of the hotel with a balcony overlooking the harbour and mountains - It was an incredible sight, with the lights glistening off of the water. Our room was lovely and warm. It has a large, comfy bed, plenty of wardrobe space and a minifridge. The bathroom was fantastic, with great shower pressure. There was a brilliant selection of serve yourself buffet food, which was freshley topped up by the kitchen regularaily. This included soups, hot mains and breads. The hotel had tea, coffee and coco available to self serve 24-hours a day, and in the afternoons Fika was served to guests - The cakes/pasteries were always fresh and delicious. This was such addition to the day, finding a time and place to relax and talk. The hotel has a small gym and a large sauna. There is an outdoor hot tub which you had to pay extra for however, this was well worth the money due to the view of the mountains and harbour as you sat in the warm water mixed with the chill of the air. The staff, from the cleaning team to the kicthen team, were incredible. They always smiled and said hello and offered to help you with anything that you needed. One of the best hotels that we have ever stayed in - We will be returning very soon!

The hotel just a few minutes walk to the city center. But very closed to Polaria bus station that I could walk easily with my suitcase. The staff was very helpful even there was a mistake about my check-in information but I did not have to wait too long for that. The room was clean and warm enough.
