"When I arrived, I found the view from my originally booked room was blocked by external pillars, so I discussed it with the hotel and upgraded to a better room. The hotel breakfast is considered rich and delicious for local standards. It's also conveniently located within walking distance to the city center. I would recommend this hotel if I come again or if friends visit."

Location is fantastic. With the bridge next door, you get to take a leisurely stroll across to the Cathedral and beyond.
Nearby the hotel, there’s the harbour and many other quaint local cafes that served amazing cakes. Explore the city by foot. In the hotel, you have everything that you need including the gym! There’s a rooftop bar and open space for you to take in the u obstructed view of the surroundings and harbour. You can even book an ‘Igloo’ for your drinks and dinner!
The breakfast is amazing with a very good selection from meats to cereals and cheeses.
Finally, i had an overcharge and the front desk was quick to respond and promised to refund. Kudos."

"I really like the hotel’s location—it’s easy to reach from the airport and convenient for getting to nearby attractions. Everything I wanted to visit in Tromsø is within walking distance.
The staff are warm and friendly, and I appreciate that they provide hot water at the Barception for instant drinks or cup noodles. I also enjoyed their hot latte (self paid) it was perfect for warming up as I stepped out and strolled toward my first stop, the Tromsø City Library and Archive."

"This hotel is the middle of Tromso to Reina Town, and is a quite good transit rest point. The room is big enough, my family lives in a triple room, and there is an extra supermarket on the side. I rent a car from Tromso to Reina Town, and live here in the middle. In fact, it should be from the port of Tromso, take the boat to the pier next to this f2 hotel, and then rent a car, so that you can rent a car for two days less. The boat information can be found in the svipper app, but the risk is that the weather is not good and the boat will stop. The triple room price is more than 700, which is really cheap. The front entrance of the hotel and the left hand side of the door are the same numbered parking lot. You can park with easy park. I only spent 50 yuan rmb one night. This hotel is basically more than 6 hours drive from Troms or Elainesen Roble Hotel. The room was very clean and I saw a cleaning person. No other waiters. This hotel is really cost-effective."

"The room was perfect for what we needed. The view on the balcony of the mountain next to the stream was beautiful. The staff was very helpful as well. Laundry service on site was easy to use and a lot of little trails to takein the area. Would definitely stay here again when we return!"

"Front desk service was friendly and upon seeing my membership status, gave us room upgrades. Though the room was clean and modern, the bathroom is in desperate need of an upgrade. The bathtub has what looks like years of yellow staining, showerhead from the 80s, hairdryer would struggle drying writing on paper. The fact there were no photos anywhere of the bathroom means they know exactly what I'm on about. Would not stay again purely because of it."

"I almost didn't go after seeing the pictures, thinking it was just an ordinary guesthouse. But when I arrived, I found it's a large hotel, and truly excellent.
**Facilities:** The facilities are very modern, and the heating in the room is exceptionally good, just like the standards of a Nordic city hotel. The design is also quite simple.
**Environment:** The view from the hotel lobby and breakfast restaurant through the glass is absolutely stunning. Plus, there's free coffee and tea in the lobby, so you can sit and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
**Breakfast:** The breakfast is also quite good.
This is the only hotel on the entire island; everything else seems to be guesthouses. It also has a large parking lot.
The photos online made it look very average, but in reality, it's completely different and exceeded my expectations.
However, the island itself isn't too big, and the scenery on the way back to Tromsø from here is particularly beautiful."

"We arrived in the evening, reception was not open but instructions to where our room and key are were sent in advance. Due to the weather (arrived during heavy snow) we struggled a bit to find our room, which was unpleasant, but once we found it our stay was very nice. The room had everything we needed, bathroom simple and clean, kitchen organized and simple with a stove, dishwasher, fridge and everything, and a very nice shared area. The location is very close to Finnsnes, but buses don't run very often, and not in the evening; so plan in advance if you count on using public transportation. On the up side, when the bus does run, there is a stop right outside.
All in all, great value for money. Thank you for a very pleasant stay!"

El hotel está bastante alejado del centro de Tromsø. La parada de autobús para ir al aeropuerto está a 10 min. Parece poco pero si está nevando y llevas mucho equipaje hay que ir con tiempo porque las cuestas tienen hielo.
Cuando entras, es una maravilla. Han renovado las zonas comunes y es súper bonito.
Pero al entrar en nuestra habitación doble.... No estaba renovada. Es la habitación más pequeña en la que hemos estado en 8 días por la zona. La puerta no está en buenas condiciones. El baño parece de ”un hospital”. Para nuestro gusto la cama y las almohadas son incómodas. Las paredes de la habitación tampoco están en buen estado.
Cuando fuimos a desayunar parecía otro hotel. La cafetería con vistas panorámica era preciosa. Y el desayuno tipo buffet estaba muy rico.
Nos choca bastante la inmensa diferencia que hay entre las zonas comunes y la habitación.

Novem_1104Great room with plenty of space for two people. The view from the window was amazing, overlooking the ocean, the church, and the night cityscape. Plus, it's within walking distance to the downtown shopping area, which is super convenient. The front desk staff who helped us with check-in were also very polite.

Andrew林Quite a good quality hotel. Location is excellent. Room is relatively small but still acceptable. This hotel booking includes breakfast. I rank the quality of breakfast to fantastic which it serves high quality of food with traditional Norwayigen food.

Ravissara S.The room is spacious and clean. Great view from the room's window. I really like the room layout and it is beautifully furbished. The kitchen is great because it comes with A COMPLETE set of kitchen utensils. You will never run out of anything. This is also my first time staying in an apartment-like hotel in Europe, so I was impressed by the dishwasher. The floor is also warmed, which I like. Especially, in the bathroom, my feet didn't feel cold at all, unlike other places. I could not use the kiosk to check-in, but it worked just fine on my iPhone. I was worried about using smart key in my iPhone, as I read a lot of complaints from other reviews. However, it worked perfectly, including the entrance, elevator, and my room. I had no issue at all despite my thick phone case. During my stay, I met no staff. Luckily, there was not any issue, so everything was fine. Lastly, the location is the best. it is located in the centre, and there are several supermarkets nearby. Overall, it is a great place to stay and the price is very affordable. I think I will stay here again if I have a chance to return to Tromsø.

TurkmenbashiAn unpretentious but comfortable hotel in an unbeatable location in central Tromso (the third photo is the view from the hotel window). Highlights include the friendly staff (a shout out here to the ever helpful Petter), tasty and healthy breakfast, and comfortable sitting areas that mean you don't have to hang out in your room.
Given the quality of the hotel it is surprising - and highly annoying - that they don't provide kettles in the room (I even offered to pay a deposit), the more frustrating because some photos on the site show coffee machines: so some rooms do have these facilities. The selection of toiletries is also surprisingly meagre - no shower gel for example, which seems unnecessarily cheapskate. My other gripe is that they need more individual tables in the breakfast room: finding a space at a long table feels reminiscent of youth hostelling...
With these shortcomings noted, the hotel can be recommended and is good value for Tromso.

Guest UserThis is the only one hotel that is serving half board meaning breakfast and dinner is included, plus they throw in a tea break serving a piece of cake and tea/coffee during the afternoon from 3pm - 5pm. Since our arrival was after the dinner time, the hotel reception was so nice to kept us two cold plate - was delicious! As we arrived during the Easter weekend, many shops were closed. Hence it was good that we have dinner included at the hotel. Everywhere is within walking distance. Help yourself Coffee/tea are served all day long at the reception. In the late night, after we returned from aurora chasing around 2am, the doors are locked and manned by security, so it is quite safe. There is a sauna but I didnt have a chance to use it, staff are friendly and helpful.
