Overall, it was an enjoyable stay although in some respects it was inferior to other hotels I stayed in on the holiday. The pools were great and so was the view from the room. The room itself was alright - quite basic but sufficient. We did have problems with a leak in the ceiling which was promptly addressed by staff but still a little annoying. In general the staff were lovely: in particular Chamindu in the restaurant, a security guard who called me and my partner over to show us turtles on the beach (sorry, can't remember his name) and the guy working the sunloungers at the lower pool. The weakest part was probably the food. It wasn't bad exactly, it was just worse than the food in all the other hotels I stayed in.

This has to be one of the most pleasant experiences I’ve had at a hotel in a long time. This property should be a Curio Collection property at minimum. The arrival at night was beautiful with the lighting in the driveway. We we warmly greet by the team at the porte cochere. Check in by Amila was smooth and friendly. The room was beautiful, comfortable and modern. The F&B team at the buffet, pool and Spoonbill were amazing. In particular the Executive Chef, Asanka and Kobikan were so helpful and friendly. They did everything to make the stay special and I saw them do this for every guest. The ladies at the spa are also lovely. They gave great service and were so friendly and welcoming. To the owner: you have an amazing product lead by the GM Rahil and please do keep it up. To potential guests: please book, you won’t regret it.

The villas are stunning in a gorgeous setting - wish we could have stayed for more than one night but we were Turing Sri Lanka. The staff are extremely friendly and courteous: to have wildlife including monkeys and chipmunks in and around the complex was a special experience- highly recommend.

We stayed for 2 nights and wished we stayed longer! Room was spacious and clean with an amazing view on the high floor. We had dinner buffet at Weligama Kitchen and food was great! Breakfast served there was delicious with great variety from Western , Asian, Indian but the Sri Lankan style breakfast was the best! Tide Bar is a great place to relax and have drinks with scrumptious snack too. We spent most of our time at the resort and it was very relaxing. The environment was suitable for couples and family at the same time. Lastly, service was top notch, everyone was friendly and helpful. TK and Kalpani from Weligama kitchen always checking on us, Sachinthaka , Asanka and Dharmika from Tides always cheerful and greeting us when we head there for drinks. Would definitely return and recommend to family and friends visiting beautiful Sri Lanka!

We arrived early at the hotel before the room was ready but the staff were helpful. They upgraded our room and got us in two hours before the check in! The staff were all polite and helpful, from the cleaner who made our towels into lovely animal designs to the bar staff who remembered what drinks we liked and even the security staff who showed us the parrots 🦜 under the trees at night. The food was lovely with a mix of European and Sri Lankan cuisine with friendly waiting staff bringing our drinks. The location is also good with access to the wonderful turtle beech directly from the hotel which was a highlight of the stay! The only slight negative was the bathrooms in the hotel could have done with a little modernising. Overall a fantastic hotel experience that I would recommend 👌

We stayed at the hotel in July 2024 and liked everything very much. Responsive staff, check-in and check-out did not take much time. At breakfast I was pleased with the abundance of fruits, and for dinner there were a lot of sweets. The breakfast and dinner menu is varied. Two beaches, a swimming pool, well-groomed green areas. Wonderful, relaxing holiday! The rooms are really tired, but this was not a problem. We really liked everything!

The location is great!!! This was the main selection criterion. The beach at the hotel is “non-swimming”, but with a gorgeous view and located two steps away (to the right) a wonderful turtle beach without waves...). Right in the center of Hikkaduwa, everything is nearby...cafes, shops. The staff is friendly, always ready to help with any requests and always with a smile)))

The location is very good, right in the center of the ancient city. The decoration of the hotel is blue and white porcelain style, giving people a sense of tranquility. There are three choices for breakfast. The price is absolutely good value for money!

I booked this hotel for a friend for one night and the room was good and quite large. However, the food quality was really disappointing. The food served was of very low quality and tasted terrible. It was a let down, especially since the room was otherwise quite nice. While this is a decent place to stay for the room quality, I would strongly recommend against purchasing any food on-site. The food was so bad that it overshadowed the positive aspects of the hotel stay. The hotel management should look into improving the quality of the food offerings to provide a more well-rounded guest experience. Until the food issues are addressed, I would advise travelers to avoid dining at this hotel and to seek out other dining options nearby instead.

The hotel is very good. It is an all-inclusive hotel. After staying in the hotel, you don't need to worry about any food and drink.

Since our planned accommodation was out of the question at short notice, we found the Cozy Sea View Inn via ************ and had our tuk tuk driver drop us off there. We received a warm welcome and were able to choose one after viewing two rooms. We chose one on the ground floor with a small terrace. The room was very spacious, clean, well equipped and smelled very good. There was a fitness studio right next to our room, which can be used by hotel guests. We didn't take advantage of this, but we still thought it was a great opportunity. The manager Rajesh was very friendly and helpful. When he found out that we wanted to travel further to Unawatuna, he offered to take us with him since one of his drivers had to go that direction anyway. The location of the hotel, on a side street off the main street, was also ideal for us. The beach was within a few minutes' walk, as was a huge selection of restaurants and other shopping opportunities. We were really happy about our spontaneous stroke of luck and would love to come back.

Wonderful place with a lush garden in Unawatuna area in the main tourist road. They let us for an early checkin so we didn’t have to wait in the lobby area. Room was spacious with modern furniture and included a minibar. Air conditioner worked perfectly. Bed was comfy. Bathroom was spacious. Hot water worked perfectly. Modern fixtures too. Green villa was close to all the main attractions. Highly recommended for a calm, quiet, comfortable stay in Unawatuna area.

Hello, to all traveling souls! I write a review as a former tourist.The hotel is represented by 3 stars. But I would love to give another without hesitation! For an excellent service, ocean view . Availability to the ocean just leaving the room and. By doing 10 steps. Staff from directors , managers , chef and assistants are very and very pleasant people. Who are ready to help at any time of the day. Rooms are very pleasant, clean and tastefully decorated. These beds with magnificent mattresses and baldachines mmmm. It's something. You feel like a princess. Food is great. Very fresh and delicious. The pool is clean. The ocean approach is perfect. The sand is small and so brilliant as if from small diamonds. Bright on the sun. There were no problems with living. Everything is perfect. Price . Quality. Comfort.Guys, don't look for more hotels. Take and don't worry about anything. We visited a few this season. This is perfect! And for adults and children! . Thank you all for my perfect holiday in the dream hotel!

We found this hotel already on the spot when we lived in Sri Lanka for some time and were looking for new housing. What was important to us: cleanliness of the room, high floor and stable good internet. And all our requests were satisfied (even more). The owner turned out to be very friendly, tried to create the most comfortable living conditions for the guests: they provided us with an additional table and chair for work, and helped us rearrange the furniture to make it more comfortable for us. Another big advantage of the place is its close location to the ocean - you just had to cross the road, and here you are on the shore. The room we found was spacious and clean. A few days later, a couple of lizards started sharing it with us. It is difficult to single out any objective disadvantages - we only had positive impressions from our week-long stay at this hotel

Wake N Flow was amazing. From the moment we checked in to the moment we left, we felt at home. The staff was all so kind and courteous when we asked questions or needed help getting around the city. The property itself is currently under small renovation but everything was kept clean and out of the way. The location was ideal because it’s only a 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 minute walk to the grocery store.

Very good guest house, clean, fresh repair, everything necessary to eat. It feels that the hosts have done everything with the soul, very hard, always order, clean, comfortable, cute. Delicious home breakfasts. A good location, close to the sea, but no noise of the road that is near the sea. Rooms are spacious. There are steam rooms, family rooms. Hot water, WiFi, Conditioner. There are big balconies, good evening to sit) you can also sit on the roof, watch sunset/sunset. There are rooms with sea view. Near the cafe. There are two kitchens. You can take things to wash. The hosts offer interesting tours at a good price. The hosts helped us very much in everything, told where to go, that to see, helped with renting a bike, a tour of whales, to find a good yoga class. Very hospitality) we looked at several hotels and guest houses in Miris and very happy, That they found the village star rest, here and stopped for all the holidays and certainly didn't want to leave)

Для профессиональных серферов есть возможность посерфить, для любителей спокойного отдыха снорклинг на черепашечьем пляже( черепаши вскегда есть и рыбы тоже) и оборудованные лежаками пляжи. Управляющий отеля Кумара очень чуткий, внимательный и заботливый, всё расскажет о городе, куда и как лучше доехать, ответит на любые ваши вопросы и всегда поможет. В номере есть всё что необходимо: сеиф, кондиционер, вентилятор, и самое главное раптор от комаров что сделает ваше прибывание комфортным, постельное бельё чистое, комнаты просторные. Прям возле отеля есть остановка автобусная, можно съездить в ближайшие населенные пункты. Отель расположен не далеко от полиции, так что безопасность гарантирована. Мне всё понравилось)

The hotel has beautiful access .The view is such a amazing🔥... I just had an nice massage on there Ayurvedic spa which I would recommend everyone who visit here. The room are very clean and Luxury I just love it. I attended an event here and the food and drinks were very good and the atmosphere was very good. It is equipped with a hall with good space. This is good place where you plan to a company get together and all. Talking about food, you can get different varieties of food here. And it's taste amazing.. Overall, I can say that I got a very good experience. A hotel worth visiting.🙌

Самое лучшее расположение, прям на берегу океана в удаленном от трассы и шума месте. Отель выбирали по приезду, не бронируя. Просмотрели очень много. Остановились на этом, учитывая адекватную стоимость, расположение, шикарный вид из окна и просторные номера. Персонал вежливый, выполняли все наши просьбы. Учитывая то, что сервис в Шри Ланке ниже среднего, в номерах не убирают, только по нашей просьбе, но так практически во всех отелях. О номере: очень большой, светлый, с панорамными шумоизоляционными окнами, с огромной удобной кроватью и балконом. Мебель не первой свежести. Интерьер обычный. Завтраки однообразные (яйца, фруктовый салат, фрэш, тосты, чай, кофе), но можно заказать за доп. плату по меню, готовят вкусно, но дороговато по сравнению с другими кафе. Мы ходили ужинать в Пети-Пети и Зефир (там очень вкусно), в Папа Манго. Радом с отелем в 2х минутах расположен Coconut tree hill. Отель расположен на замечательном черепаховый пляже, волны не большие, людей мало, очень комфортно, удобно с детьми. До главного пляжа Мириссы 20 мин вдоль пляжа пешком, но там большие волны, подходит серферам, плавать не комфортно, мы туда ходили только вечером в кафе. Мы отдыхали большой группой из 25 человек. Все были в разных отелях. Но Seastar мне понравился больше всего. Если не сильно привередливы к сервису и интерьеру, могу смело рекомендовать!

The hotel is very new, everything is in a very good condition and we liked the concept that it’s not a standard Hilton. You can feel that the service routines are not at the level as it should be, but the staff were always friendly a helpful.

The beach at the hotel is too wavy to swim and can only bask in the sun. But not far away, there is another public beach more than 100 meters, where you can swim. There are many choices for buffet breakfast and dinner, and the taste is good. Of course, there are occasional mistakes, such as grilled too raw beef shoulder. There are very few things for children to entertain. There is a game room where you can draw, watch TV, play games, etc., but the maintenance is not very good. The service is generally good, ushered in. However, there are more ingredients for the show, and some details need attention. Overall, the price / performance ratio is average, and it should be done.

The hotel is not that simple to get to. Once you leave a nice hard top road, you have to drive down a long dirt road for about 10 mins to get to the hotel itself. That road can become a bit flooded if it rains hard - as it did on one day we were there - and that can prevent some guests getting in and out of the hotel. We’d had a lovely quiet evening meal one night and only found out afterwards that there had been a large group due in but couldn’t get down the road. Generally, it’s ‘normal’ vehicles and buses that bring people but, on occasion, a 4x4 would be better. On the days we arrived and left the roads were passable but you could see how they become easily impassable with rivulets running across it. The hotel though is lovely. The old one was washed away in the tsunami but the replacement looks strongly built, with its exposed concrete and stone construction there for all to see. That doesn’t make it cold and like a factory though. Far from it. It feels like it belongs where it is and its appropriate for a climate that varied between sun, wind and heavy rain whilst we were there. Whilst there are bedrooms on the ground floor (plus the gym and spa), most of the hotel’s common spaces are on the top floor, where reception, the bar and a la carte restaurant are. The main restaurant is one floor down, which has a nice view from the verandas around the outside. We had drinks in the bar on a couple of evenings, choosing to sit on the covered balcony as the indoor space - complete with pool table - whilst lovely was rather cold. The cocktails we had were really well made and come with our recommendation. We didn’t try the a la carte restaurant. Frankly, there was no need to from a food perspective. It was excellent all the time in the main one. The hotel tends to get large groups stay, who like to sit together (and create quite a noise), so the main restaurant can get quite noisy. The a la carte would offer a break from that as it’s in its own, quiet space. We genuinely couldn’t fault the food at the hotel. Breakfast always had a large choice ranging from cold offerings, cereal and salad, through to traditional Sri Lankan and hot western options. Tea and coffee was to order whilst you helped yourself to juice. The story was similar for evening meals too. If anything, evening meals catered less for western palettes and more for the Chinese guests that frequent the hotel. There were always lots of local Sri Lankan dishes too, which were simply delicious. All the hot food was outside the main restaurant space, under cover, with much of it being cooked in front of you. The cold starters and desserts were indoors. I have to say, one odd highlight was the soups. Every night there were 2 soups on offer and they were really good. I did have a tiny bug bear sometimes, which correlated with the busiest nights. That was the staff were a little too keen to clear plates. On occasion, you’d literally be chewing still and hadn’t quite put your cutlery dow

Very close to Lake Thieu, the room is about 30 square meters, consistent with the picture, wild hotel, furniture facilities do not have too high expectations, there is a small creature inside is normal and acceptable. Someone helped carry luggage to the room when staying at the hotel. The dinner was very rich, the meal was included in the reservation, which was better than the restaurant we had eaten a few days ago, and the price was super high. Service in the meal is also good. Because the next day I had to get up early to go to Yarra Park, the hotel's packed breakfast was also very rich.

The hotel is located in a great location, close to Yalla Park. Our room had a beautiful view of the lake. Many thanks to the manager who helped us organize our safari. I want to point out the strange behavior of the ladies at the reception. Not customer-oriented.

My wife and I booked this hotel months ago to get one of the superior chalets for our stay. We were in Sri Lanka and a few days before this booking was to start I got a message from the Ravan to say there had been an overbooking error and we were being moved to a superior double with a private balcony and the price would be reduced appropriately. On arrival our superior double was probably the worst room in the hotel. The bathroom smells like an open sewer and our private balcony was the open corridor outside our room which had a couple of chairs, judging by the full ashtrays this was clearly smokers corner. When I said this was unacceptable they said they had another room to show me. This turned out to be a completely different hotel and I was expected to pay extra as this was more expensive. Again I refused. We were then left sitting in the corridor with our cases. I then had to run around looking for somewhere to stay. Not exactly what I planned. I would be very reluctant to take this hotels word for anything as even a confirmed booking is no guarantee.

Great, great, super great First of all, I booked the Cocoon Suite, which includes 2 meals The hotel is very mysterious The staff explained all the way that after dark, you must be led by a staff member when you leave the room, because small animals will appear in the hotel at night. We saw a porcupine on the way out of the room. There is also an opening in the hotel, which is guarded by a special person 24 hours a day. This opening is the elephant's door. Two months ago, an elephant came Each large cave (large tent) is actually equipped with a small cave (small tent) behind it. If you are a family of four, then the small cave behind is just in handy. Of course, if you only book a cave, you have to pay 485 US dollars when you arrive, including three meals. The small tent also has an open-air shower. Special recommendation, must include three meals. It is inconvenient to enter and exit the surrounding area. The hotel's meals are also very good, and there are different menus for three meals. I guarantee that you will not get tired of it. I especially recommend the tuna for lunch. And the smoked beef.tuna for dinner. You get a great and daily changing breakfast, nice dinner if you like, and help to plan your activities in Tissa. The place might be a little out of the town, but that is not a bad thing! The town does not offer much. To get around, to town or to the next beach, you can rent a scooter there and directly behind the property is the Yoda lake. It is perfect for walks in the morning, or for sunset. The sun sets over the lake. It's very quiet and you can see a couple or nice animals there. The 2 times we went there, we saw Grey langur monkeys. Also you can see the buffalos around and in the lake, with just their heads looking out and many different kinds of birds.
