When you need a pickup, you can go to the nearby tourist information center and ask staff to call the hotel. After confirming your booking name and nationality, a car will be sent over very quickly.

We just returned from a magical four-day stay at Reitoku Fuji Lakeside Villa, and I am still floating on cloud nine. If you are searching for a place where serenity, cleanliness, and genuine Japanese hospitality collide, stop looking — this is it.
The Room & Amenities
From the moment we stepped inside, we were blown away by how impeccably clean everything was. I mean spotless. The room itself is wonderfully spacious, giving us plenty of room to unwind after long days of exploring. But the real showstopper? The private hot bath. Soaking in steaming hot water while gazing out at Mt. Fuji from the comfort of our room was nothing short of therapeutic.
And then there is the balcony. Waking up each morning to a full, unobstructed view of Mt. Fuji right from our private terrace felt like a privilege I never wanted to end. Whether it was sunrise painting the peak in soft pink or the mountain standing bold against a clear blue sky, the view alone made every yen worth it.
The Host — Above and Beyond
The owner is one of those rare people who makes you feel like family from day one. Warm, attentive, and endlessly kind, he ensured our stay was seamless. But what happened on our last day truly sealed this experience as unforgettable.
While we were waiting for our bus back to Yokohama, he volunteered to drive us to Yamanakako Myojinyama Panoramadai. I cannot put into words how breathtaking that spot was — a sweeping panorama of Yamanaka Lake shimmering below with the majestic Mt. Fuji rising proudly in the background. It was the kind of view that makes you stop breathing for a second. That he took time out of his day to gift us that moment speaks volumes about the heart behind this villa.
Final Thoughts
Reitoku Fuji Lakeside Villa is not just accommodation — it is an experience. Clean, comfortable, spacious, and run by someone who genuinely cares about his guests. We will definitely be coming back, and I cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone looking for the ultimate Fuji getaway.

"Generally speaking, I enjoyed the stay at the hotel. Convenient with its location close to the station. With nice hot spring on the top of the building. I experienced the M6 earthquake during my stay at night. The staff are quickly came to check the hot spring floor if all the guests are alright. The had blocked the lifts and open the staircase door to go down. The Public announcement through the speaker in room told the guests no need to panic…
For housekeeping, they need to improve as we found our room did not close the room door after made up the room. HSKP card still left at the entrance and seems waiting for room inspection?? But we strongly concern our belongings and safety.
The English level of the front desk team are so so. Few are below.
Breakfast are alright. The menu are the same for my stay for 2 nights. Staff are helpful."

"We booked a package that included dinner and breakfast. The hotel proactively contacted us two weeks before our stay to inquire about our dietary preferences, ensuring they could accommodate us. Check-in was done in our room, which was split into two levels: the dining area on the first floor and the sleeping area on the second. All the meals provided by the hotel were delicious, and all the drinks in the mini-fridge, including beer and green tea, were included. They even prepared extra snacks after dinner, just in case we got hungry at night 🤣🤣 – so thoughtful!
Although the weather on the first day wasn't great, we were lucky to have beautiful weather on the second, allowing us to clearly see Mount Fuji from our room and even from the onsen area! We also woke up early to drive to Lake Yamanaka, which was about a 10-15 minute drive, to watch the sunrise. After enjoying the sunrise, we had our 8:30 AM breakfast. After eating and packing our luggage, we checked out promptly at 10 AM. Perhaps because it was the Christmas season and very busy? A staff member came to ask us around 9:50 AM if we were ready to check out, which felt a little bit rushed.

"【Location】The hotel's location isn't ideal, a bit secluded. It's surrounded by Japanese residential homes. If you want to eat or go out, you'll need to walk about 12 minutes to Kawaguchiko Station. The hotel is on a hillside, so it's on a slope. If you have luggage, you can reserve the hotel's shuttle service to and from Kawaguchiko Station. It's most convenient if you're driving. We hired a car from Hakone, which cost 900 JPY for an Alphard for 1 hour and 13 minutes.
The hotel offers a free shuttle service from 8 AM to 10 AM, round-trip to Platform 10 of Kawaguchiko Station (at 3:00 PM, 4:00 PM, 6:00 PM) and Fujikyu Highland Bus Stop (at 2:15 PM, 5:00 PM). It's a 900-meter, 12-minute walk to Kawaguchiko Station, or a 600 JPY taxi ride. There's a large supermarket nearby.
【Highlights】You can enjoy a magnificent view of Mount Fuji from every floor! The rooftop terrace is available for BBQ. "Avoid at all costs! It's infested with bugs, and the service is terrible if you're not Japanese or white. When I arrived, I was given a room on the 3rd floor with a balcony facing a rooftop and AC vents. I asked for a higher floor, and the front desk pretended not to understand, then switched me to a room on the second floor, first row. That evening, I thought the view was unobstructed and great, and I wondered why this room wasn't fully booked when I moved. The bathroom was on the balcony, and when I went to shower, I found it swarming with thousands of bugs (no wonder the lower floors were empty). I had no choice but to use the public onsen. I hoped it might be better the next day, but in the morning, the balcony was still covered in bugs, and the outdoor bath was also full of them. It was completely unusable, which was a shame given the view. The service was exceptionally poor for Japan. The old man who brought the towels knocked three times within 30 seconds of arriving and had a sour face when I opened the door. In the morning, he completely ignored us downstairs but bowed and enthusiastically greeted white guests with a 'Good morning.'"

Guest UserI stayed at Fujisan Station Hotel and found it quite convenient overall. The location is excellent, just across from Mt. Fuji Station, making it very easy to get around. Check-in was done with the staff and went smoothly. Free parking is available, which is a plus. 4. The hot springs on the fifth floor have both indoor and outdoor options. You can enjoy the views of Mount Fuji while you soak.
5. Both breakfast and dinner provided by the hotel were surprisingly delicious, and there was a good variety too.
6. They offer a shuttle service to and from Kawaguchiko Station. Just make sure to look for the shuttle with three hotel names printed on it. You'll need to remember the hotel's English name to identify it correctly, otherwise, you might end up waiting a long time at the station.
I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Mount Fuji!

I booked this hotel because the promotion made it seem luxurious, but the surroundings feel odd, almost like all the trees have been removed by purpose, littered with dry leaves and fallen branches. It feels dirty and poorly cared for. I was expecting a neatly landscaped area with grass and trees, but instead, the outside feels like a barren, lifeless space.
That said, the inside of the room looks very good. The accommodation consists of two separate large caravan‑style rooms. They are not very spacious, but they are sufficient for a family of four. One of the rooms has slightly less living space because it includes a larger bathroom, with a full‑size bathtub. This is something you rarely find in Tokyo, where most bathtubs are quite small, so this was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, we struggled with the bathtub controls as it was written in Japanese, we couldn't use it after all. Also, the heating system are all labeled in Japanese, and there were no clear instructions in English. As a result, we didn’t figure out how to use the heating until the second night. We stayed for two nights in total.
There is an outdoor spa area, which is interesting and enjoyable. We used it and found it quite good, although it is small. It works best for two people, three is a tight squeeze, and four would be uncomfortable. The sauna is decent and operates daily.
Breakfast is served at set times rather than as a buffet, likely because the hotel only has 14 rooms. Guests must choose a time slot, such as 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, 8:30. We chose 8:30.
Breakfast is a set menu rather than self‑service. Each morning includes a starter, a main dish, and some small item to finish, well enough for us. The first day was Japanese‑style, with a rice‑based dish. The second day was Western‑style, with a sandwich as the main course and fried eggs with pork belly. The food tasted good, but we would have appreciated more water. We did not ask for refills, as staff left the area after serving.
Finding the hotel is a bit difficult. The entrance sign is blocked by a car park sign, making it very easy to miss. You need to drive very slowly, or you will pass it without realising it. We spent several minutes searching before realising this was the place. Be prepared to see a car park with two signs, where one directly blocks the hotel’s entrance sign.

We booked this resort near Mount Fuji very late, and we were really worried because almost everything was already sold out. But it turned out to be one of the most wonderful stays we’ve ever had on any of our trips to Japan.
The resort has several staff members who speak Vietnamese, and they helped us so much. Every time we needed to go somewhere, the shuttle bus took us to the station—even the times when I requested it late without booking an hour in advance, they still tried their best to arrange a pickup. Their kindness truly showed how much they care about their guests. From the driver to the front desk to the restaurant staff, everyone was incredibly warm, friendly, and always smiling. They were genuinely adorable and made us feel so welcomed.
Our room was a huge surprise: a massive apartment-style space with four beds even though there were only two of us, plus two bathrooms. Everything was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The resort is located in a large forest, so the moment you step inside, you can smell the gentle scent of pine wood everywhere. The atmosphere feels grounding and refreshing—as if the Earth itself is recharging you.
One of the best parts is that they have dedicated areas for pets. I got to play with some of the guests’ pets, and it was honestly such a sweet experience. Breakfast was delicious every morning, in a very authentic Japanese style. I went down for breakfast every day, and the dining area has a beautiful view of Mount Fuji—I even recorded some stunning videos there.
I never imagined I would be able to book a resort this amazing. It seems like it has been operating for many years, with a rustic and warm charm that I absolutely fell in love with. Down at the reception area, they also sell all kinds of Mount Fuji souvenirs. When you’re out sightseeing in the Fuji area, you tend to buy a lot of souvenirs and snacks, which makes your bags very heavy—but the resort sells everything right there. I compared the prices, and they were actually much cheaper than the tourist spots, so we bought all our gifts there. Super convenient!
I genuinely want to come back to this resort for future trips. It is one of the best places I have ever stayed, and I absolutely adore it. Highly, highly recommended.

Although there are trees in front of the hotel, blocking the view of Mount Fuji from the room, you can walk to Oishi Park in less than ten minutes to see it. Transportation is also quite convenient, and the room is very spacious. The only downside might be a few small insects.

Hotel Mt Fuji has the best views of Lake Yamanaka and Mt Fuji. It is located high up on a hill and looks down over the lake. Shuttle bus service to and from Yamamakako iriguchi was excellent. The staff in 7 eleven kindly called for me to be picked up on arrival and again on the second day of my stay. The breakfast was the best in the past 2 weeks of my trip. Japanese breakfast is so delicious. The omelette chef was such a perfectionist and each was made perfectly. Staff were particularly helpful and the public baths , there are 2 different locations ,are excellent, both very different. The hotel itself is very old and dated and could do with a renovation. However saying that, the room was very spacious and comfortable. I loved being able to open the window which had an insect screen and have fresh air. The only thing I did not like is that you could not wear your yukata to breakfast. No big deal really. I would highly recommend Hotel Mt Fuji.

From the moment we stepped inside, we were blown away by how impeccably clean everything was. I mean spotless. The room itself is wonderfully spacious, giving us plenty of room to unwind after long days of exploring. But the real showstopper? The private hot bath. Soaking in steaming hot water while gazing out at Mt. Fuji from the comfort of our room was nothing short of therapeutic.
And then there is the balcony. Waking up each morning to a full, unobstructed view of Mt. Fuji right from our private terrace felt like a privilege I never wanted to end. Whether it was sunrise painting the peak in soft pink or the mountain standing bold against a clear blue sky, the view alone made every yen worth it.

While we were waiting for our bus back to Yokohama, he volunteered to drive us to Yamanakako Myojinyama Panoramadai. I cannot put into words how breathtaking that spot was — a sweeping panorama of Yamanaka Lake shimmering below with the majestic Mt. Fuji rising proudly in the background. It was the kind of view that makes you stop breathing for a second. That he took time out of his day to gift us that moment speaks volumes about the heart behind this villa.

The hotel's front desk staff were warm and courteous, making us feel right at home. Our room had a direct view of Mount Fuji and cherry blossoms by the lake, which was absolutely stunning. Breakfast was included and suited everyone's taste. We also enjoyed the hot spring on the 6th floor.
