We chose this hotel for the pool and close proximity to both the monorail and the ferry ticket office.
It was ideal for this reason. The pool was nice and quiet during the day.
the ferry ticket office is just 1min walk away.
several convenience stores close by.
We went to Naminoue beach, about 25-30min walk away - we tried the bus according google maps but the bus didnt arrive as expected.
For the rest, the hotel is clean and comfortable and decent size rooms. the washing machines are busy in the evening but convenient for use.
The area around the hotel I wouldnt really recommend for families - its a little rundown and had a bit of a strange vibe, not as welcoming as other parts of Japan. Still clean and seems safe, but our least favourite area during our 3 week trip.
While a little dated, the hotel is quite spacious and features live band performances nightly – a definite highlight. Recommended. It also offers a convenient shuttle bus service to the beach, where you'll find a Lawson convenience store.
1. The location is good, right by the beach. The sand isn't as fine as Yalong Bay, with a lot of rocks and shells, but the water quality is decent.
2. Breakfast is okay; I'd definitely choose the hotel's breakfast over other local restaurants.
3. The facilities are a bit old, but there are plenty of amenities and soft furnishings.
4. On the downside, for this price point, the hotel's ice bucket isn't disposable. The wet/dry separation in the bathroom isn't great. There were disposable paper cups available, but a male staff member at the front desk rudely insisted there weren't any – though these issues might be subjective.
5. Definitely get an ocean-view room. It's about a 100 RMB taxi ride to Aeon Mall, which is quite close, and about 200 RMB to the International Cruise Terminal. Both are very convenient, just for your reference.

An incredible hotel where everything within it: 2 swimming pools, an onsen, a konbini, a restaurant and a bar. All your needs will be filled.
Great location as well with Naminoue shrine and beach nearby, and monorail around 15 by foot.
But if you want to explore Okinawa further, plenty of bikes, and car rental around. And ferries to go to other islands.
I will definitely come back to Okinawa and Sansui Naha hotel!

I chose this hotel for its affordability. Its location was convenient, a short ten-minute walk from public transportation, and a twenty-minute walk from the main street and beach. The triple room was simply furnished with white walls. The bed's position against the hallway wall was slightly inconvenient, but our room at the end of the hall was pleasantly quiet. Breakfast was somewhat limited and occasionally ran out, and the menu lacked variety after a few days. Parking was available in a nearby tower for 1500 yen, which was comparable to other local options. Overall, I found the hotel somewhat underwhelming due to the lack of amenities such as a gym or pool, and its somewhat impersonal atmosphere. Complimentary beverages were limited to black coffee.

Although the room was compact, the layout was incredibly well-designed, and the Japanese-style decor made the most of every inch of space! The magical combination of a bathtub and shower in the bathroom was a pleasant surprise, even featuring a sauna function! The hotel's location is excellent; getting around is super convenient. Plus, there's a popular BBQ joint right next door that served the best meat I've ever tasted!
Good sea view and cliffs/rocks. Low tide and high tide gives you total different views. Less than 10 mins walk away is a place-gala where there is horse riding, pottery workshop, glass blowing workshop etc. Two churches at the side. Delicious breakfast/dinner buffet and Japanese cuisine.
The hotel isn't far from the Blue Cave for snorkeling or AEON Mall Rycom, making it a great base if you're planning activities in central Okinawa. You can also stroll along Sunset Beach in American Village, and there are many unique shops in the area worth exploring at your leisure. The hotel itself is excellent; the rooms are quite spacious, and with a sofa bed for the kids, all three of us slept comfortably. The best surprise was having a washing machine, laundry detergent, and a balcony in the room – perfect for washing clothes and swimsuits right away. It would be even better if they could install a clothes drying rack on one corner of the balcony, haha. The front desk staff spoke excellent English, but their pace was really fast, which made it a bit hard for me to follow since my English isn't that strong.
**Cleanliness:** The room was impeccably clean. Housekeeping always completed cleaning punctually according to our requested time.
**Environment:** It's conveniently located near Shuri Castle, with a peaceful and quiet environment. The on-site Family Mart convenience store was extremely useful. There's a supermarket about a 10-minute walk away, and plenty of excellent local restaurants nearby.
**Service:** The staff were warm, friendly, and incredibly accommodating, always ready to assist with any request. Breakfast offered a rich and varied selection of food.
**Facilities:** The facilities are quite modern, especially for a hotel in Japan.

The location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk to Kokusai-dori Street, and the Makishi Market is also very close, offering plenty of convenient dining options.
Breakfast had a great variety, and the Chinese-style options were very satisfying.
Facilities: The only downside was that the city hotel pool was too small; it felt cramped.
Service: Excellent! Warm and welcoming, made us feel right at home.
Cleanliness: We pushed the two small beds together and found absolutely no blind spots for dirt; everything was very clean.

MM304761****First off, the hotel's location is super convenient, less than 200 meters from Asahibashi Station. There's an elevator available, and the path from the station to the hotel is completely flat, making it easy to roll luggage.
The breakfast buffet was delicious! Four items were particularly outstanding: the Okinawan mixed rice, pasta, cold plate with lemon seaweed, and Okinawan tofu.
The pajamas were incredibly comfortable and felt brand new. It's rare to find any odor, let alone that strange disinfectant smell. Many budget hotels I've stayed at in Japan struggle with this, so it's a commendable advantage!
The air conditioning in the rooftop communal bath's changing room was set perfectly, very comfortable.
Outside the laundry room, there were several lounge seats, convenient for waiting.
Downsides:
I couldn't find the dehumidifier button in the bathroom, and it didn't automatically activate even when it was damp.
The room door felt a bit thin; if you don't wake up early, you'll hear people walking by outside.

GGuest UserReview of Onna Resort, Okinawa
About me:
I’m a frequent flyer to Japan and a long-time fan of staying at villas and resorts across the country. I enjoy discovering different accommodations across Japan. This time, I chose Onna Resort for a relaxing group trip.
⸻
👍 What I liked:
• Spacious resort– Very roomy and comfortable, easily fits 7–8 people. Perfect for families or groups of friends.
• Clean and well-maintained – The entire resort was spotless and felt well cared for.
• View exactly as shown in photos – Stunning ocean view that matches the listing. Great for enjoying sunrise and sunset.
• Beach nearby – A beach is within walking distance. While it may not be the best in Okinawa, it’s still nice for a stroll or quick swim.
• Washer and dryer setup – Includes both a washer-dryer combo and a separate dryer, which is especially handy for drying towels and clothes after swimming.
• Well-equipped kitchen – Good selection of cookware and appliances for preparing meals.
• Private and quiet surroundings – Peaceful setting with no disturbance from other guests.
⸻
👎 What could be improved:
• Inconsistent check-in information – The email offered early check-in, and a staff member via video call said I could check in at 2pm. But when I arrived, another staff said it was 3pm. This communication gap should be addressed.
• Missing basic items – No cups or glasses were provided, obviously an oversight by the cleaning staff.
• Limited towel supply – Towels are provided strictly based on headcount. Given the proximity to the beach, it would be more convenient to offer a few extra towels without needing to ask.
• Limited Coffee Supply - The resort provides coffee bags based on headcount as well, which was insufficient for guests who consume two or three cups daily. A more generous and considerate coffee supply would enhance the experience.
• Insufficient tableware – Only two large plates were provided. It would be more practical to include additional small dishes, rice bowls, and condiment plates (e.g. for soy sauce or wasabi), especially for guests who plan to cook.
• Lack of basic cooking ingredients – It would be helpful if staple items like cooking oil, salt, and pepper were provided to make meal preparation more convenient.
• No power outlets near beds – Most sockets were located low on the wall and away from sleeping areas, making it inconvenient to charge phones or devices overnight.
• Weak Wi-Fi signal in places – Internet connection was spotty in some areas of the villa, although it offers several wifi spots within the resort, but still weak
BBanlimamaI was initially very pleased with the hotel's location. The pool and beach facilities were excellent, and there were also two breakfast options. However, the only truly unpleasant experience occurred during check-in. The young male staff member at the front desk was incredibly unprofessional. The check-in process took a full 45 minutes, and I was almost on the verge of heatstroke from standing there so long! After finally checking in, I wanted to quickly freshen up with a shower, but then waited another 30 minutes in the room for my luggage. I eventually went back to the front desk to inquire about my bags, only to find them unceremoniously dumped in a corner, completely unattended. It was only after I made a forceful complaint in English that a staff member hurriedly delivered the luggage to my room. Because I formally submitted a complaint, a staff member later proactively contacted me and offered water park coupons, which showed they were taking the matter seriously. Given we were a family with elderly parents and young children, traveling during the peak summer heat, I appreciated their effort to rectify the situation, as I really didn't want any more hassle. Aside from that, the remainder of our stay was quite pleasant. Although the room facilities were noticeably dated, they were acceptable.
2205827****The lobby is too small; it didn't feel like a proper hotel at first, which made me quite unhappy. However, once I got to the room, I was slightly more satisfied. There's no coffee machine or drinking water in the room; you have to go out to the hallway to get water. The front desk service was indeed top-notch, and the hotel is very close to Kokusai Street, making shopping convenient. The hotel breakfast was just average, but the drinks and cakes at the bar on the first floor were quite tasty. The TV in the room felt too big, though; it made my eyes hurt.
__WeChat28936****I used to stay near Cape Manza whenever I visited Okinawa, but this time I wanted to try a different beach, so I booked the Moon Beach Hotel. Although the hotel is a bit old, it's very well-maintained and quite nice. The room was surprisingly spacious. I didn't book a sea-view room, but if you have the option, definitely go for it – it's absolutely worth it!
For breakfast, there are two choices: a Japanese set meal or a more standard Western-style buffet. The room key is quite unique; it's shaped like a seahorse. On the ground floor, there's a shop selling beachwear, which is a good option if you haven't brought any.
Eating out near the hotel is very convenient, with plenty of options. There are also many diving schools and car rental places nearby. Some diving schools even offer Chinese-speaking services, so it's worth checking out if you're interested.
I'll definitely be back next year! 🤩🥳
LLiulangjinxingHoshinoya's service was first-rate. I highly recommend the horseback riding, which was a unique experience. The infinity pool is beautiful, and there are plenty of snorkeling spots nearby. The kids had a blast, and the service was excellent. The restaurant was plentiful, and the surroundings were beautiful. The only downside was the Wi-Fi wasn't working, and they couldn't fix it. The hotel immediately offered to change rooms, but I didn't consider it due to my heavy luggage. Even if I did, the cost of cleaning wouldn't be cheap. They suggest better equipment management, and Ctrip did everything they could to accommodate. Thank you so much! This was the only time I wanted to give a negative review, but I changed my mind because of the excellent service at Hoshinoya. I maintain my high rating and recommend it!
CChilunThe hotel is located on Kouri Island, with a very nice view of Kouri Bridge.
The room is large and equipped with cooking utensils. It can accommodate many people.
The cleaning time was very random and did not follow the schedule, and the hotel staff came into the room to clean without prior notice. I was a bit dissatisfied.
Since I had notified the hotel through Trip.com before departure that I would arrive very late, but when I arrived, I found that the front desk was closed, and there was no prior notice from Trip.com or the hotel about the key collection arrangements, which made my group very panic. Fortunately, I found Trip.com customer service to find the password. Thank you to the customer service and compensation for helping me handle it that day.
