"This was my first time staying overnight in Ise, so I chose a hotel from a brand I frequently use. It's conveniently located right across from the JR station. There's a hot spring bath on the second floor of the hotel, and you can even enjoy an ice cream after your soak to cool down. Breakfast is served in the restaurant, also on the second floor. We stayed in the new annex, and they offered complimentary afternoon tea from 3 PM."

"Toba International Hotel Shiojitei was an absolute highlight of our trip. The exceptional service truly stood out, embodying the Japanese spirit of 'omotenashi' from start to finish. This began with the shuttle pick-up from Toba Station, followed by detailed guidance during check-in, and enthusiastic explanations of each dish in the restaurant – every interaction was flawless.
The food, featuring local delicacies like Ise Bay seafood and Matsusaka beef, was undeniably delicious and beautifully presented. While you mentioned the portion sizes were 'rather average,' this is typical of kaiseki-style dining; although there are many courses, individual portions are small. For those with larger appetites, it might feel a little insufficient. The hotel facilities are well-maintained, with both the guest rooms and the onsen area (the Pearl Onsen left our skin sparkling!) being spotlessly clean. Overall, it has no obvious weaknesses; the service, dining, and ambiance harmonized perfectly to provide the best hotel experience of our trip."

"This hotel is super close to the train station and the outer shrine's pilgrimage route, making it really convenient for getting around.
We used the self check-in, but ended up with two rooms on different floors. After a quick chat with the front desk, who were very helpful, they managed to get us on the same floor.
There was a weird smell in the room; I initially thought I'd mistakenly walked into a smoking room. It got a bit better after I turned on the air purifier.
Breakfast was just okay – a bento box per person, plus a self-serve selection of bread, drinks, and miso soup.
Overall, I'd say it's pretty decent for its star rating and price."

"We stayed with four people! Even though we arrived late at night, the call center staff were so kind and helpful, we were impressed! It was so comfortable, there was plenty of space even when we all spread out our luggage! When we were having trouble finding chopsticks, we found chopsticks, a sponge, and even detergent under the sink. It was really helpful. "The hotel is well maintained. The room is probably the largest I've stayed in Japan. You can see the beautiful view of Ago Bay when you enter the room. The staff are very friendly and speak good English. At the same time, the hotel has a car to pick up to the other main building at any time. The sky garden has a check-in point for the 2016 G7 Summit, and the scenery is no less beautiful than the view from the Yokoyama Observatory. The breakfast is rich, with Western buffet and Japanese set meals to choose from, and the taste is very good. There is a scheduled shuttle bus from Kashikojima Station to the hotel. If you are late, you can also call the hotel to pick you up at the station. The service is really considerate. It is difficult to find a restaurant open after 5 o'clock near Kashikojima Station. It is recommended to make a reservation for dinner at the hotel. I will stay here again if I have the chance~"

"As expected from a hotel with such history and tradition, it's truly wonderful. The service is, of course, excellent, and the French dinner was superb. Breakfast is a buffet, and it can feel a bit rushed due to the crowds, but there's plenty to enjoy. The onsen (bath) is a bit of a walk, but it's very good. I was surprised by how many foreigners there were, and it was interesting to see them all wearing yukata and seemingly accustomed to the onsen experience. The photo is of Toba Bay, visible from my room."

The open-air bath was amazing!
The changing room, shower room, and balcony
open-air bath were all connected, which was great.
The air purifier and the corners of the room were a little rough, but it wasn't too bad.
The staff were very helpful and polite when I checked in!
There were some shops open until around 10 PM, so I could go for a walk even after relaxing at the hotel!
I couldn't go this time, so I'll save it for next time. (T_T)

My kids loved the room...my son liked the silk bag green tea and carried it to his ”den” upstairs to savor :)
You can prob comfortably sleep 3 in the loft
And 4 on the ground level
There are public toilets outside the room on the same floor

The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered breathtaking views of Toba Bay. Waking up to the peaceful ocean scenery each morning was incredibly relaxing. The onsen was equally impressive—immaculately maintained, soothing, and the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring.
The kaiseki dinner and breakfast were exceptional. Every dish showcased the freshness of the local seafood and seasonal ingredients, with each course thoughtfully presented. Dining here wasn’t just a meal—it was an experience.
What stood out most was the attention to detail. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, from the seamless check-in to the thoughtful service throughout our visit. You can genuinely feel the pride they take in providing outstanding hospitality.

We used this hotel as a family celebration trip. The facilities were beautiful and lovely, but what really impressed us was the warm and wonderful service from the staff. Due to the earthquake in Russia, trains were stopped and we had no means of transportation, but they extended our check-out time and were very accommodating.
The food was delicious, and each dish was carefully prepared. The breakfast buffet was also very satisfying, with so many options, including Japanese and Western cuisine, that we couldn't finish it all. We signed up for morning yoga, and started the morning off right in the open space surrounded by greenery on the property, listening to the birds chirping and feeling the breeze, which was a wonderful way to start the day.
Next time we visit, we'd like to enjoy a cruise or something similar.

It's a clean and nice hotel. However, the bathrobe-style loungewear is easy to come undone, and the knot hurts when you lie down, which is annoying. It's quite stressful for someone who has come from far away and is tired and finally arrives at the hotel. I look forward to the future.
The staff's service is polite and elegant, and the location is very close to the station, so I would like to use it again in the future.
Personally, I don't think it's necessary to serve customers with masks. I remember that the WHO also announced that masks are not effective for either coronavirus or influenza. Japan is the only country that is lagging behind in wearing masks, and it has become part of the etiquette at work, but it's scary to serve customers without seeing their faces.

Lovely licatiin just connected to Pacific seasude at Yosino ise national park via overbridge .. enjoyed beautiful Sunrise and seranity Moon light evening.
Just two minutes walk from a local train station Adawa.
Hitel staff was kind enough to search transportation from hotel to Nagoya airport with multiple options. Thus part is truly impressive and attendant of service quality.
Was no issue for meaks as jyst walking 3 mins Supermarket and restaurants.
Will stay again next trip.

The hotel is easily reachable by car, but if you are using the train, it’s 30/40min by walk or you should jump on a bus. Nearby there are konbinis and a supermarket, which is super useful if you want to eat at the hotel and take advantage of the microwave (there are not a lot of restaurants nearby). The hotel is clean and comfortable—if you want, you can also book a private bath room for free, which is great.
On top of the usual amenities, you can also find different options for shampoo and conditioner (ex. one for damaged hair, etc..)

The outdoor unit of the air conditioner was extremely noisy...unfortunately, my stay was not satisfactory.
I consulted with the staff, but because the outdoor unit is located next to the bed (by the pillow), the noise from the outdoor unit continues when it's turned on. Also, although my room was on the 8th floor, I could hear people talking in the parking lot. Is this due to the location of the outdoor unit? Perhaps there's a small gap? In other hotels, you shouldn't be able to hear conversations from the parking lot from an 8th-floor room.
When I turned off the power because the noise from the outdoor unit was bothersome, the room temperature dropped very quickly...
The staff responded quickly and changed my room from the 9th floor to the 8th floor, but unfortunately, both the 9th and 8th floors were plagued by the noise from the outdoor unit and the cold.
