We stayed one night before our dive trip and one night after before flying home. They kept two bags for us while we cruised. Both checking were easy. They allowed us to get into our room early. Definitely caters to people headed out on dive/cruise boats. Good service, clean and safe.

Aston Niu Manokwari Hotel & Conference Center
4.1/57 Reviews
After a night flight we had 7 hours waiting in Manokwari and decided to go to Aston, because its located very close to the airport. Outside the hotel looks great, but rooms are pretty worn out and definitely not 4 stars. + very friendly, helpful and efficient receptionist + clean sheets and towels, coffeemaker, fridge + breakfast: nor many western dishes, but plenty fruits, cakes, omelette - no sign for do not disturb, so just after we fell asleep, housekeeping belled us awake Alltogether, if you have to stay in Manokwari Aston is a good option.
Rifalda Cottage

A very good hotel altogether, not far from the ferry and close to everything in Waisai. Great bungalows with anything you need, very comfortable. The host is a very welcoming and kind person. I will definitely stay there again next time I'm in Waisai.
Favehotel Sorong

We stayed 1 night and had 2 communicating rooms. Very convenient for adolescents. Very convenient hotel for 1 night. Clean and comfortable beds. Near the airport: 5mn in taxi (100 000Rp) but too far to walk with luggage ... Buffet breakfast is correct but not all suitable for Europeans: a wide selection of Indonesian dishes but you can also take toasts, The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. Conclusion : Good convenient hotel for one night before a morning flight
Hotel Mariat Sorong
2.9/56 Reviews
Yes, this is almost 30 years old, but our spacious luxury room with refrigerator and well-functioning shower with terrace and view of the sea basin was great. The breakfast was also a number of ”western” options, such as fresh baked egg or omelet. That's already a lot in Indonesia! In short, the assessment may be a little higher.
Waisai Beach Hotel
4.1/56 Reviews
Waisai is a nice town. The residents are not jaded by tourists (yet) as they see them with less frequency than other locations in Indonesia. Simply stated, they are wonderful. All the children say hello and approach often to ask your name and where you are from. Being there in the beginning of December allowed us to see the Christmas parade and train that takes children around town. Magical in so many ways as you can't help but smile when a parade such as this has Mickey Mouse and the much beloved Hello Kitty. And the train is totally lit up with lights and smiles. Beautiful. Most everyone that shows up in Waisai heads out to a resort. Many of the remainder head to home stays in nearby islands or away from town. These can be nice but we don't do well with being so contained. We did a live aboard here in Raja Ampat and then dove with Olin Dive Center in town for another week. The hotel is very situated in town as it is a short walk to the beach, is very close to the wonderful daily market, close to grocery stores and near to the dive shop. We came to stay for 4 days but stayed the week. Rooms are clean and air-conditioned. They are large, have television and provide a breakfast (included in price). Out back there are clothes lines for use. Not much English is spoken but translation apps made life easy. Staff are very nice! At a moments notice the staff set us up with the town's tourist representative (Husna) to help us out with a great deal including getting to Wayag and also seeing the Red, as well as Wilson's, bird of paradise. The hotel was less expensive than the hostel where another diver stayed. We are unsure if we will return for a third visit to Raja but if we do, we will definitely stay at this hotel again as the the place is nice and the town it is in is wonderful.
Hotel Grand Papua Fakfak
4.1/52 Reviews
There is only few option in Fakfak in terms of hotel, and Grand Papua absolutely the best choice. Located in a quite highest position in Fakfak, this hotel offer a nice view. You can see the whole Fakfak city from here. Staff was fine, of course is a little bit above standard in a big city, but it is fine. I also love the room, it is nice and comfort. Oh don't forget the food that is very tasty. Like it!
