"Quite a wacky, quirky hotel- which we love! The main hotel is unique and fab, but the rooms are tired and outdated and could be cleaned to a higher standard. The tap water is not drinkable, so more drinking water also needs to be provided and accessible in double and twin rooms- one bottle for two people is not enough. When phoning reception to request two bottles of water, we were still only given one and the empty bottle we had was also weirdly and awkwardly requested and collected at our door first, before we were allowed more water, which was then bought separately and left outside the room? Just a little odd when they have to provide drinking water. A great location hotel though and we actually love the extravagant, crazy style of the main hotel and have been back 3 times and would stay again when in the area for work. You have to see it to believe it!"

We were in the top floor of the main building and whilst not the most up to date bedroom accommodation it was clean and comfortable with workable facilities. Really friendly and helpful staff and great breakfast buffet with both continental and full English breakfast options. GGuest UserThe hotel was overall very good value and certainly worth the stay due to its excellent service, comfortable accommodation, and convenient location. However, the main drawback is the parking situation.
Parking is limited, with only a small number of spaces available across the road and on the nearby one-way street. This can create unnecessary stress when trying to leave a vehicle safely and securely. While this may not be a concern for all guests, for some it can be a significant issue, particularly when staying for several days.
The parking area is also used by non-residents who visit the hotel for drinks or meals, meaning spaces are often occupied by patrons rather than hotel guests. As a result, residents may find themselves repeatedly checking for available spaces when visitors leave, rather than being able to park properly and confidently upon arrival. This uncertainty can detract from an otherwise very positive hotel experience.

I did boil the ketrle.and that just before leaving . Dr otteker i added as the water cam be dubiiois .the demand for this water is high so i add a cleaner and i passed the water via a brita style filter .

GGuest UserA very foggy cold night after a busy day it was nice to be welcomed by a friendly and informative receptionist. One nights stay room with small balcony overlooking the golf course and an incredible heater. Water pressure in shower is low but water hot
The rooms feel they would benefit from being updated a few ******* . *TV remote didn't turn TV off had to get up and pop hand behind set and turn off at socket. **The hair on the bath definitely not mine! **No obvious hairdryer. ***Room Service called twice extn not answered went via reception transferred to the bar salmon cream cheese on brown ordered arrived quickly unfortunately on white bread. Pink G&T delicious. Breakfast. Warm welcome and explanation offered from team. Great variety and the hot food was hot. **** The team brief at the bar perhaps could have been carried out elsewhere. Checkout painless.

GGuest UserArrived late at night & was greeted pleasantly.
Walked into my room & very basic, but that’s fine for what I paid. However as I was trying to sleep, all I could hear from the person next door in the bath & noises weren’t very pleasant. After failing to sleep, I then ordered a taxi to stay with a friend locally.
When I handed the keys back, the staff asked me why I was leaving in the early hours & I explained my experience & said that they would contact me re a potential refund, but still haven’t heard from them to date.
I wouldn’t fault cleansers or reception staff but my room needs a much needed upgrade & would recommend management to spend a night in a room, so they can experience it for themselves & realise that they are loosing business due to its present state.
