I booked this hotel for just one night, expecting a simple, comfortable stay. What I received was so much more than that. It was a flawless, beautiful, and truly memorable experience from start to finish. Everything was amazing, and I mean everything. Let me start with the arrival. The moment I entered the lobby, I was struck by how beautiful and serene it was. It smelled incredible, it looked immaculate, and the ambiance was calm, luxurious, and welcoming. The reception team welcomed me with such genuine warmth and professionalism. Check-in took less than two minutes, and I was made to feel instantly valued and at home. That first impression set the tone for the entire stay. My room was an absolute dream. I wish I could give you a tour of it. It was spotless beyond words - you could see the attention to detail in every corner. The design was modern, elegant, and tastefully done, with soft warm lighting that created such a relaxing atmosphere. The bed was pure heaven. The linens were crisp, fresh, and soft, the pillows were plush and perfect, and the mattress was the kind you sink into and never want to leave. I had the deepest, most peaceful sleep I have had in months. It was completely silent, dark, and tranquil. Absolute bliss. The amenities were outstanding. Everything was high quality, thoughtfully placed, and more than I expected. The bathroom was sparkling clean, luxurious, and felt like a private spa. Great water pressure, fluffy towels, lovely toiletries, and that perfect level of cleanliness that makes you feel truly comfortable. But what truly elevates a good hotel to a great hotel is the people, and here, the team is exceptional. Every single staff member I interacted with was kind, attentive, respectful, and genuinely happy to help. They anticipate your needs before you even ask. They smile, they listen, they care. That level of hospitality cannot be taught, it comes from the heart. They made my short one-night stay feel incredibly personal and special. Breakfast the next morning, the departure, the overall organization, everything flowed so perfectly. I left feeling rested, recharged, and genuinely grateful. For anyone reading this and thinking of booking, please do. For one night, for a weekend, for a business trip or a getaway, you will not find a better place. This hotel understands what true hospitality means. It is luxury, comfort, cleanliness, and heart all in one place. A huge, heartfelt thank you to the entire team. This weekend was the second time I stayed at the Leonardo in Milton Keynes. I booked a few weeks earlier and locked in a very good price on Trip. I chose the Leonardo because it was a fabulous stay last time with a very good breakfast. This time I stayed in a double room and it was bigger than I expected. I stayed in room 601 and it was an end room and overlooked the big Leonardo red banner on the outside of the building. I had a very good view of the city from the room. The room had a window that opened and a TV. I had a very good bathroom with great products. The towels were really clean and fluffy. There was T and coffee in the room. Plenty of space. I had sockets next to the bed for my phone. I had a great nights sleep. Bed was so comfy. Slept brilliant. I had breakfast for the 3 nights I stayed and it was excellent. Plenty of room in the restaurant and not overcrowded at breakfast. The staff were very attentive for the whole of my stay. There was a free water fountain down in the foyer and it was a mega hot weekend so this was great. There is also somewhere for baggage storage if you want to visit the fantastic shopping centre that’s not far away. The hotel It’s about a 10 min walk from the train station. Great if you are visiting London there are loads of trains and it’s quick. I chose to stay at the Leonardo because it’s a very comfy stay as London prices are so expensive. There are lots of great restaurants near by so it’s great for an evening out. It’s a lot quieter than central London therefore much better for my senior solo adventures. The images I e uploaded are the walk from the station, the room after I stayed in it! The bathroom the bottled accessories in the bathroom so you know what to expect, the views from my window, sunsets and the bed after I slept in it. A very great stay and highly recommended. I went to London every morning, went to the British museum , ham house, Tracey Emin at Tate Modern and shopping .

Room is old but comfy. I stayed for a week and I noticed they did not vacuum the carpet my entire stay. Steam room was nice. Gym was fully equipped. Breakfast was the same menu throughout the stay so that got boring real fast. Location is superb though.

Overall, we felt this hotel offered really good value for money, especially considering the location. It was a convenient base for visiting Windsor and the surrounding areas, while being noticeably more affordable than many of the hotels closer to the town centre. For anyone planning a short stay around Windsor, we think this is a practical and budget-friendly option. The room itself was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. We particularly appreciated the privacy of the curtains, which blocked the light well and made it easier to rest properly. The bed and duvet were also very comfortable, and overall the atmosphere felt quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. Check-in and check-out were straightforward, and the general experience was smooth and hassle-free. Another positive point was the convenience of the location. It was easy to drive to nearby attractions and restaurants, and having parking available made the trip much less stressful. Compared with accommodation prices in Windsor itself, this felt like a much better-value choice without being too far away. The only area we felt could be improved was the carpet in the room and hallway. It seemed a little old and worn, and in some areas it looked slightly dirty, which affected the overall impression of cleanliness. The room itself generally felt tidy, but replacing or deep-cleaning the carpets would probably make the hotel feel much fresher and more modern.

Firstly the photo’s are misleading. The room was very disappointing. The bedding was clean but the bed was uncomfortable. The decor was tired to say the least. There were stains on the lampshade. The desk light was so dusty I could write my name in it. The bathroom needs up grading. It was very worn and it’s not great to be using a shower curtain in this day and age. To add to this we were presented with a Sunday menu but no roasts were available and no burgers. The staff were polite but looked as tired and drained as the environment. Returning to our springy protruding bed we were woken up by the fire alarm at 1:30am. We gathered in the car park but no one came to check on us, so we wondered back in. We were woken up again at 7:45am by the fire alarm again (appears they have to be super sensitive to keep every one safe!) so that saved some battery power on our mobiles. We were going to stay for breakfast but thought maybe not. The good points: I got a 50% refund. The shower was hot and did the job and the hair and body stuff  was surprisingly good. Overall it is such a shame. The hotel could be delightful, the coach house area could be quaint and the room was a good size. I personally would pop to the local charity shop and pick up some second hand lamps and get the stained ones into a skip. Lesson learnt I should have read the reviews and not trusted the photos. Overall disappointing and could not wait to leave.

From the moment we arrived at Danesfield House, we were treated extremely well. All of the staff were very helpful and could not do enough for us, even carrying our luggage to our room. Our room had a beautiful view over the river Thames and hotel gardens and the four poster bed was lovely and comfortable. The bathroom was lovely and clean and their were plenty of towels and toiletries. I had booked a treatment in the Spa for my wife and all of the staff were amazing. The Spa itself was very nice, and although the jacuzzi was out of action, this did not spoil the experience at all. Finally, our breakfast was wonderful. We were greeted and shown to our seats immediately. Our order was taken for our choice of breakfast by a lovely waitress and coffee and toast was brought to us by an absolutely wonderful waiter who had the biggest smile that never left his face the entire time we were in the restaurant. He was extremely polite and just made you smile with his infectious enthusiasm for the ”fabulous filter coffee” and the ”terrific toast” (his words, not mine) that he served us. I just wish I had his name to include with this review as he deserves a special mention. Overall it was a fantastic experience and the right choice of hotel to celebrate my wife's birthday. We will definitely be coming back.

This hotel comes highly recommended, the location is great and opposite the hotel. It has a beautiful park, the hotel gym and restaurant are great features and the breakfast style buffet, offered many options. I personally walked from the Milton Keynes train station, so I got to see many places to explore, shop, eat, drink. It took around 30 minutes to walk from the station, however the route is on an incline, so maybe not the greatest of ideas, if people have lots of luggage, mobility issues ect, to use this transport method. The hotel is very stunning and amazing value for money.

Lovely stay on a Monday night at Crazy Bear Beaconsfield. Only English restaurant was open so marked down the amenities as didn't really use others aside from the restaurant, bar and room. There is a lovely looking pool. Service was good. Mixup with our steak order was quite easily resolved however ended up with a cut of steak I didn't want. Would recommend booking restaurant time before 7pm as between 5-6.45 pm you get 25% off your total bill including alcoholic drinks. Would recommend offering prosecco on the menu. As cheapest champagne was around £100 so on the pricey side in general to eat and drink.

Stayed an additional night in room 155, after two nights in 266. Great new room, with new shower. Very clean. Staff were friendly and very helpful. We did not eat at the hotel but would definitely recommend as a little getaway. Great location and scenery.

The location is perfect. Parking and other facilities such as gym and pool are free. The room is really nice and there wardrobe has enough space for clothing and storing luggage. The room doesn't have an AC so it does get very hot during hot weather. Inside the wardrobe is a fan which can be used to keep the room cool. There is no fridge in the room to keep some of the drinks cool. Overall good hotel for the price and location.
