"Location is good, close to the bus station, but a 30-minute walk to Nyhavn and other touristic attractions.
Standard Plus Room was very small and compact, but it had everything we needed. Window was tiny and the room got very hot due to the poor ventilation and lack of AC. The bathroom could be cleaner.
Luggage storage before and after the check in/out was very expensive and few instructions were provided by the hotel staff.
In general, not a good value for money. Next time I'm in Copenhagen, I'd rather invest a little more money to get more value for my accommodation."

"This is a fantastic hotel with excellent management. Since we booked a room at the last minute, it wasn't ready yet. The front desk helped us find a place to rest while we waited for our room key. After five minutes, they apologized for the wait and upgraded our room. The staff were incredibly welcoming; everyone greeted us proactively. The room was very comfortable, and I loved the decor—all the raw materials like wool, linen, wood, and stone. Entering the room felt incredibly relaxing; I really appreciated the natural materials. The breakfast was fantastic and delicious. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Copenhagen; I loved it!"

"The location is great, near the metro, the restaurants, cefe and etc. the distance from the hotel is walkable to the shopping street, museums where is center of the city. The room is clean and tidy. The shower room is wide and has a lot of space. There is no electric kettle in the room but you can rent at the reception. The decoration is very nice, in a nordic style. The staff is nice. Recommend!!"

"First time staying in a capsule hotel and it was really fun! The bed was quite spacious, easily fitting two people, and it had internal air circulation, so no need to worry about feeling stuffy. It felt very safe for a solo female traveler (just remember to close your door properly). The communal bathrooms were also very clean. Overall, great experience, definitely worth trying!"

"Great location, within a 5-minute walk to the central station. Check-in was smooth and efficient. The suite is on the top floor (5th floor), which is a nice touch.
The room layout was a little unusual, with a narrow walkway and sloped ceilings due to the roof design. The shower area, including the alcove tub, felt somewhat awkward and may be less convenient for taller guests. There was also an RGB light above the shower, which was an interesting design choice (who uses red lighting for showering?)
The building has some old-world charm, though the room's floor creaked noticeably when walking around. The small balcony was pleasant, but the view was fairly average.
Overall, a good stay for the location, though some aspects of the room design could be improved."

There’s a connecting-corridor between the airport and the hotel, so no need to worry if it’s cold and raining outside. "The room was stylish, beautifully decorated, and had a pleasant atmosphere. There was enough space to open two large suitcases, but it left little room to walk around.
The bathroom had an unusual design that took a bit of getting used to, and there wasn't a dedicated space to put clothes before showering. There was no wardrobe in the room, but the lighting was good, not too dim. You could request extra bottled water from the mini-fridge.
There were two sets of 3-4 steps on the walkway from the lobby to the rooms, which might be inconvenient for guests with large luggage. The hotel didn't offer bellboy service, but staff could assist with heavy bags if needed. The elevator lighting was quite dim compared to other areas of the hotel.
The lobby area was comfortably air-conditioned and featured both a library and a vinyl room for relaxation. Breakfast offered a wide and quite comprehensive selection.
The hotel's location in the old town was surrounded by walkable attractions, restaurants, and local shops, making it ideal for those who want to explore the city at a leisurely pace.
Overall, the hotel is best suited for travelers with smaller luggage planning a 2-3 night stay to fully experience the old town's atmosphere on foot."

It is relatively quiet because it is limited to adults. Breakfast is also very delicious.
The room was large and very cozy. The amenities were very substantial and I was happy to have a toothbrush. I have used the same series of hotels before, but I am glad that the eco and natural amenities are substantial. There are slippers in the room, but I think it is convenient to prepare sandals in the pool. It is highly recommended for those who want to spend a day at the hotel."

"The hotel was really lovely and there was lots of hotel staff on hand ready to help if needed. Which i did on 1 occasion when my key card wasnt working the lift and i got stuck, they called out an engineer that day. Nust make sure that both you key cards work the lift. Also in the rooms just be awear that there is a small step up to the bathroom to stop room flooding, this is a design feature but east to stub toe (needs to be a sticker with a waring sign about small step). Mini bar in rooms are well stocked."

After arriving at the airport, getting to the hotel required a taxi, as public transport wasn't convenient. However, the taxi fare wasn't cheap either. I'd recommend heading into the city early unless absolutely necessary to stay here.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful at the front desk.
It was a bit inconvenient that you had to go to the front desk to get a kettle for hot water.
The room was on the smaller side.
But it did have a microwave, which was great for heating up food!

Guest UserMy overall stay was quite pleasant.
The room, though not large, was well-designed, clean, and tidy. The bed was comfortable, and all basic amenities were provided. The bathroom was a bit compact, but perfectly functional for daily use. The hotel offers self-service check-in and check-out, which was simple and convenient.
The hotel's location is excellent, close to both the Ørestad Metro and train stations, all within walking distance. There's also the large Fields shopping center nearby. It's super convenient for getting to Copenhagen city center by metro or Copenhagen Airport by train, making it ideal for tourists.
Breakfast was also more extensive than I expected, with croissants, bread, ham, salami, cheese, eggs, and vegetables like cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, and bell peppers. There was a good variety, and it was a very decent hotel breakfast.
The only thing I think could be improved is the soundproofing in the rooms; it's a bit weak. Sometimes I could hear noise from the hallway or other rooms, which might be an issue for light sleepers.
Overall, with its convenient transportation, clean rooms, good breakfast, and decent value for money, it was a very satisfactory stay. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Copenhagen.

ShisangshenyaThis hostel is incredibly well-equipped, with excellent facilities, including a separate luggage storage area and even a cinema. There's a buffet breakfast and dinner available for an extra charge, and different activities are offered daily which you can join. You don't have to put on your own sheets, which is very convenient. It's clean and tidy, and if you're looking for a transit stay, it's super convenient. The 5C bus goes directly to the front door – it's a lifesaver! Self check-in is also very easy and quick. Highly recommend staying here!!!

Came here based on a recommendation from Xiaohongshu, but I have to say it's more about looks than functionality. The design is really strong, but the actual room functionality for staying here is pretty mediocre. I wouldn't recommend it for business travelers. The room is very dark, only suitable for a leisurely stay. Overall, this hotel feels like it's all style and no substance.

Guest UserI was very satisfied with Wakeup Copenhagen. Due to a silly mistake by DSB, I missed my flight and was forced to stay in Copenhagen for a night. This hotel was a great place to land – affordable and with a good atmosphere. The room was a bit small but very comfortable, and the view from the window overlooked København H station, which was nice.
After checking out at 11 AM the next day, I stayed on the first floor of the hotel until 5 PM because my flight wasn't until 10 PM. No hotel staff bothered or rushed me during that time, and both times I went to the front desk to ask for the restroom key, they happily provided it. I'm very grateful to them; it put a happy end to what started as an unpleasant experience. I will definitely consider this hotel again next time I'm in Copenhagen. Highly recommended.

This hotel requires self check-in. The automated room assignment was a triple room. However, after checking in on the first day, I found that it didn't match the photos shown on Trip.com. There was no TV, and the bedside lamp was completely non-functional. When I informed the front desk (which is located in the sister hotel next door, Absalon Hotel), I was told that this room doesn't include a TV (but I later found there was clearly a TV monitor in the room). They claimed Trip.com made a mistake, and the front desk staff were unfriendly. They told me to speak to housekeeping myself about getting the lamp fixed. I had no choice but to contact Trip.com, and the platform was very proactive in helping me. However, the hotel's response was very passive. The hotel didn't even apologize initially and demanded that I bring my luggage downstairs and re-check in, even though I had already stayed one day. It was clearly the hotel's mistake and an act of deceiving the guest, yet they still demanded that I... The hotel's front desk requires going up stairs with luggage, and even after taking the elevator to the floor, there's another short flight of stairs to navigate. This is extremely inconvenient for a family traveling with 32-inch and 28-inch suitcases and backpacks. To experience the fun of different hotels during our trip, I also stayed at the sister hotel next door, Absalon Hotel. It was a complete contrast; the service attitude of the front desk at the two hotels was completely different. This is why I'm giving 'one star for service'!! (I don't even want to give one star).

smiytiWe had a good stay at Downtown hostel, the location was perfect and close to everything, the breakfast was good for the price, but i wish the check-in process was easier, for us and also the receptionists who were very helpful still but we kept having issues with our cabine room door, the digital code worked once in a while :(. The rooms are poorly soundproofed which was quite disturbing…also we forgot a console in our cabin room the day of our check out and contacted the hostel by email but never got an answer back…

The hostel was easy to find, few minutes from the metro which was important to me. Every staffmember was really friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was welcoming. The tent was small for 4 persons but I knew that I will mostly just sleep there, the bed was comfortable and clean. I read in other reviews that a curtain would be nice, I agree with that also. The bathroom was really big, plenty of showers and toilets, there was hot water every time which was also important to me. I had breakfast on a few days, which was also good and I really liked sitting in the outside tables, I also had a chance to connect with other travellers every day.
