The hotel room was great! It had a smart speaker (Xiaodu) for controlling lights and curtains, and the TV was also very clean. The wireless charging was a thoughtful touch. The front desk staff had excellent service, and the location was super convenient. It's just a 5-6 minute walk to West Lake, and the Hubin Yintai commercial area is right nearby, which is fantastic.

The room was clean and tidy, well-equipped, and the breakfast was also good. Having our luggage transported from the visitor center upon arrival and back out when we left was very convenient. All the attractions within the scenic area were within walking distance. The only downside was the poor soundproofing in the room, which is understandable as it's a guesthouse converted from an old house, so there are limitations due to the objective conditions. Otherwise, we were quite satisfied with everything.

I chose this place without hesitation for my early morning flight the next day. The location is incredibly convenient; it's a 2-minute walk to T4 and only a five-minute walk to T3. The young lady who checked me in on the first day, Anna (Yu), was super nice. She reactivated my long-lost Hyatt membership and spoke in a gentle, very helpful tone 👍. After checking out on the second day, I realized I'd forgotten something. Xiao Dong at the front desk helped me send it via SF Express, and I'm very grateful to all of you 🥹. The environment is comfortable, breakfast is good, and they even provide fast-track security passes for the airport! 👍

The B&B is located inside the Xitang scenic area. It's more convenient to park at parking lot 2, as it's only about a 200-meter walk to the accommodation. The hotel is relatively new and very clean. They provide disposable bath towels, regular towels, and even a bathtub liner directly in the room. Being waterside, you can step out onto the balcony and immediately see the traditional sculling boats, offering a fantastic view. I initially thought a second-floor room would offer better elevated photo opportunities, but I found there were more obstructions, making the waterside balconies on the first floor better for photography. Overall, it was a pretty good stay.

This was my first stay here, and my initial worries about cleanliness, bedding, and the overall environment vanished within just 10 minutes of checking in, replaced by a feeling of complete comfort. The front desk staff were incredibly kind and helpful, warmly responding to all our requests, making us feel right at home. The room had no strange odors whatsoever, and the bedding was spotlessly clean. Plus, it even had a smart assistant. All in all, it was a fantastic experience with great value for money. I'll definitely be staying here again.

Whenever I visit Wenzhou, Wen Du Yuan Hotel is my go-to choice. True to its name, it's a hotel full of warmth. The staff are incredibly enthusiastic, offering tea and helping with luggage. I casually asked if I smelled roasted sweet potatoes, and they thoughtfully brought a warm one right to my room. The hotel is located in the old town, surrounded by many local eateries. Although the rooms are small, they are well-equipped, clean, and tidy, and they even provide guests with fruit and snacks. Breakfast is plentiful; even though I'm not usually a breakfast person, I made sure to enjoy a delicious bowl of noodles every morning. Highly recommended! 👍 I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Wenzhou.

Hangzhou is absolutely stunning, truly a paradise on Earth. The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient to get to all the scenic spots. There are also plenty of dining options right next to the hotel. The lovely ladies and handsome gentlemen at the front desk, as well as the cleaning aunties, were all incredibly warm and welcoming. I'll definitely stay at this hotel again on my next visit.

My stay at the Hilton Jiaxing this time was absolutely fantastic! Even before I had fully stepped into the hotel, I was greeted by the warm enthusiasm of staff member Mona, who proactively helped upgrade my room – setting a wonderfully positive tone right from the start. The room itself was cozy and elegantly furnished. Its spacious layout, starting from a generous 42 square meters, ensured I never felt cramped. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered a superb view; at night, the glittering city lights were a beautiful sight to behold right from my bed. The in-room amenities also reflected high quality: a 55-inch HD LCD TV, a separate shower and bathtub, and international brand Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries – every detail exuded a touch of luxury. Executive Rooms and Suites even come equipped with a capsule coffee machine and a variety of teas, truly demonstrating an understanding of guests' needs. The hotel's dining options were also a delightful surprise! Yu All-Day Dining restaurant offered an extensive breakfast buffet with a complete array of both Chinese and Western dishes. Local Jiaxing specialties like 'rouzong' (savory sticky rice dumplings) and Nanhu water caltrops, along with mini pan-fried buns and tofu pudding, all tasted fantastic. The freshly-made Eggs Benedict and pan-fried dumplings are definitely a must-try. Adjacent to the restaurant, there's a playful children's dining and play zone, which families with kids will surely appreciate. The Chinese restaurant on the 2nd floor specializes in local Shanghai and Cantonese cuisine, boasting a serene and elegant ambiance perfect for family gatherings or business dinners. Afternoon tea at the Silk Lobby Lounge was exquisite and delicious; paired with a signature cocktail, it created a wonderfully relaxing experience. The Executive Lounge's afternoon tea and Happy Hour were equally impressive, offering a wide variety of hot dishes, desserts, and fruits, all of high quality. The leisure facilities were also comprehensive. The fitness center on the 2nd floor features a variety of equipment, and the indoor heated pool has crystal-clear water. After a swim, you can unwind in the sauna. Furthermore, the hotel boasts an excellent location in Nanhu District, surrounded by all sorts of dining, entertainment, and shopping options. Wanda Plaza is just a short walk away, and it's not far from Nanhu Scenic Area, Yuehe Ancient Town, and Jiaxing South High-Speed Railway Station, making travel incredibly convenient. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Jiaxing, and I will definitely choose this hotel again next time!

This hotel has an old-fashioned feel, both in its hardware and software. The rooms are indeed dated, but a major plus is their spaciousness. The entire property is expansive, beautifully adorned with pavilions, terraces, waterside structures, and gardens. The service, however, is absolutely outstanding, reminiscent of a traditional, well-established five-star hotel – friendly, respectful, and dignified. When we arrived on the evening of October 23rd, our navigation led us to the North Gate. A female employee saw us and proactively escorted us to the lobby, introducing us to the hotel's landscape and facilities along the way. There were always multiple doormen on duty; one would handle luggage, and another would open car doors – a level of service I haven't even seen at Four Seasons properties in China. During check-in, an employee was constantly on standby next to the front desk, ready to take our luggage to the room. I'd say the service surpasses most five-star hotels in China. The breakfast offers a rich variety, leaning towards Chinese cuisine, and the complimentary dinner was also quite distinctive. The travel photography session felt a bit assembly-line, but overall, it was a very satisfying stay.

Location is great because it’s near to the main entrance of wuzhen. Had a great value of lunch outside of wuzhen tourist attraction. Tried having dinner inside of wuzhen and it was below average. The room itself is slightly small after luggage is opened up but I would say it’s got all you need, ie. air conditioner with right temperature to keep you warm, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, shower head worked perfectly well too . I had a decent sleep in this room. The only downside was the staff service. No early check in, luggage was not transferred to the room, wifi was not set up. Staffs were not friendly . Basically they will cover your question if you ask. Tried to reach out to them on WeChat and the responses were slow and not helpful. As this building is away from their main block, you need help to carry big/ heavy luggage on the uneven stone pathway and also from corridor to lobby via staircase. Less hassle if you are travelling light.

GGuest UserThe hotel I chose when traveling with friends to Hangzhou is surrounded by a well-developed subway and bus network, and it is easy to reach popular attractions such as the West Lake and Hefang Street. Whether it is a business trip or a leisure trip, it can save a lot of commuting time. The hotel has its own parking lot, and parking is also very convenient. From the moment you step into the hotel, you can feel the enthusiasm and professionalism of the staff. The receptionist at the front desk is friendly with a smile, and the check-in process is efficient and smooth; the room service is meticulous, whether it is midnight snack delivery or luggage storage, it can respond to needs quickly, and truly make ”guests feel at home”. The overall hygiene of the room is excellent, the bedding is as white as new, and it is changed for each guest, which makes people feel at ease; the bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, without water stains and odors, and the quality is reflected in the details. The service attitude of the front desk guy Xiao Cai is very friendly. When checking in, he took the initiative to ask about the room arrangement requirements, and introduced the surrounding travel and midnight snacks. I forgot to bring the charger when I went out, and he took the initiative to lend me his charger. If there is a need, he will help solve the problem as soon as possible, and I will recommend friends and family to stay

RRomeryIt was our second time in Kingdom Hotel and we plan to stay always there. The staff is really outstanding. They helped us to change our booking even after the cancellation period, because of the flight delay. Kelly, that can speak English, was incredibly nice, and she asked for a driver to collect at the airport our Apple power bank, without CCC mark, otherwise it would be retained by the authorities. When we returned to the hotel 2 days later, it was stored at the reception and we picked it up. We just needed to pay for the driver. We have no words for this kind gesture. Amazing! The staff really cares about the customers needs and puts themselves in their shoes. We will definitely come back to Kingdom Hotel.

SStanley The Travel ManThis are many good things that I like and one thing that can break the deal.  I like the room because it is bright. It has many lights. It is big too. I like the virtual assistant whereby you can control the curtain , the lights, the air conditioner and the VA is also smart enough to reply ‘yes’ in different way. The air conditioner however seems to have one temperature setting. It is always too cold or it keeps on blowing air and doesn’t have a thermostat.  The room however has no shelf space. No closet, no rack to place your luggage. The bathroom its translucent so a person taking shower , one can see a figure. I like the sofa and the table but the chair doesn’t like stable.  The breakfast is buffet style. It has quite a bit of variety and it changed on the 2 mornings that I ate there. There is a snack after 9 pm . I waited 25 minutes for a simple bowl of noodles. There were 5 people ahead of me and each bowl of noodles required time to heat up.  The staff has cold bottle waters in the lobby. There is no fridge inside your own room.  There is a washing machine and laundry that one can use for free. The staff said it would take out my laundry from the washing machine and put it in the dryer and they did. However , one inconsiderate guest took out my clothes from the dryer when they weren’t completely dried. He had 4 or 5 things to wash and he used 2 washing machines. I think because it is free and the guest wanted to maximize the usage of the free things. The hotel cannot control this kind of behavior. It is better if the laundry room is behind lock doors and only the staff can access it and of course, wash the clothes for the guests.  The toilet is something that I didn’t like. The moment you sit down, it flushes water and then if you move, it flushes again. But the problem that I had was the water was so strong that my buttocks were wet. I told the staff and he came to reduce the water flow which solved the problem.  One my last night there, I went to the bathroom 4 times and the last time I  was shocked to see a cockroach on the floor. It wasn’t moving but I wasn’t sure so I killed it. I dislike cockroach in any hotel. If I see this comment ( about cockroach sighting )  , I wouldn’t have stayed there because I am afraid there is an infestation and there will be cockroaches crawling all over me and enter my packing cubes , my clothes and my luggage. I was thinking it would be best not to write it in the comment if the hotel staff said they will would fix the problem. I spoke to the woman who welcomed me the first day. She was very nice and positive up to that point. When I told her about this issue , she said 沒辦法, it is impossible to resolve or there is no solution. Granted, this hotel has 8 stories and it is big. Eradicating pests and cockroaches, ants is not a simple thing but it is certainly not impossible. If China can collect samples from the moon and send astronauts to their own space lab, why is exterminating cockroaches be 汲辦法? Instead of taking a systematic approach to prevent further potential infestation , she said it is not possible.  I like this hotel. It has a lot of potential. The staff was helpful and always eager to help. The room is the best that I stayed in for my  trips and one of the best. ( the one in Pu’er is even better because the staff took my clothes, wash it, dried it, fold it and return it plus there was no cockroach problem ).  I hope the staff will take note of the opportunities presented to them by the guests , and make improvement. If I were to give a score, it would be 8/10 . 2 big points taken out because of the cockroach.

AArthurI would have given a 5-star review for Pan Pacific Ningbo had it not been for allowing guests and even hotel staff to smoke in the hotel! I give 1-star for cleanliness because allowing guests and staff to smoke in a hotel lobby and rooms is simply disgusting! There's nothing clean about it! It's such a waste because Pan Pacific Ningbo has such great facilities and luxurious interior; I even made a video of the hotel and will be posting it on my newly created YouTube channel. I may return again when the Chinese government has banned smoking in hotels and taken a more serious attitude against smoking and enforced the laws against smoking in hotels and restaurants. Having brought up the bad thing about Pan Pacific Ningbo, I would like to highly commend the following staff for their exemplary services: 1. Cady of the reception Cady was the same receptionist who checked us in during our two separate stays, on our way to Zhoushan and back from Zhoushan. She was very courteous and friendly. She offered to add me on her WeChat so that I could contact her if I needed anything. True enough, I needed to contact her within a few hours after we checked-in during our second stay. Smoke filled our room. When I found out that it came from the room next to ours, I immediately informed Cady, who immediately arranged for someone to spray air freshener in the corridor. She offered air filter, which I declined as we were already going out. As we walked down the lobby, I realized that Cady had actually left, and she was arranging all those even though she was already off duty! It was also Cady who informed me that GHA Discovery members would get dining discount by giving me a brochure. 2. Cora (陈丽) Cora was the wait staff attending our table at Madr 99. When I found out that I had run out of mobile data plan, I asked Cora for the passcode to logon to the hotel Wifi. Strangely, there's no option to logon with hotel room number. There were only 2 ways to logon to the hotel wifi: using a passcode and mobile number. Cora kindly offered to use her mobile number to help me logon. She didn't even ask me to use my own mobile number. It was very kind of her to do that. Upon paying the bill, I presented Cora with my GHA Discovery membership card. Cora provided me with 10% discount for silver member, exactly as stated in the brochure that Cady gave me. When we headed back to the serviced suites, another male wait staff chased us and rudely told me that GHA Discovery silver member was not entitled to any dining discount at all. He demanded me to go with him to the cashier to sign a new invoice. I later contacted Cady and asked her to verify with her manager the terms and conditions of dining discount for GHA Discovery member, before we went to Hai Tien Lo to dine in the evening. Cady, who was already at home and off duty, gladly obliged to my request, and confirmed that dining discount was applicable to even silver members. Perhaps hotel management could ask Cora to train the guy properly before allowing him to interact with guests directly! Otherwise, one day he might get punched by guests who are irritated by his behavior. 3. Cavan Cavan was the porter/concierge who helped us deliver our luggage to our room. He, too, was friendly and polite like Cady and Cora. He even walked us to Madr 99 and showed us where all the hotel restaurants were located. The way he treated us was like VVIP. The hotel management should treasure and try to retain these 3 excellent staff. Have these 3 experienced staff to train their junior colleagues.

GGuest UserOur party of 3 adults spent 3 nights at the Fuchun Mountain Golf Resort in early 12/2024.  We came to Fuchun to see the scenaries that had inspired the famous 富春山居圖 painting.  We booked 2 basic rooms (Linyin Garden View), but received free upgrades (Guizhou Lake View) at check in.  I must admit our initial feelings as we arrived was one of creeping doubt, because the Fuyang city streets we had driven through (we drove in from the Hangzhou Xihu area) were very industrial, just giant factories one after another and the immediate area outside the property was just a bunch of small suburban farm homes and shops.  Furthermore, as our car pulled up to the front lobby entrance, no one greeted us.  Not a soul was in sight.  Our driver had to poke his head inside and announce guests are here and service is needed.  From there on, however, things only got better and better.  So, yes, this was a quiet property.  There wasn’t a lot of staff standing about.  But, there was enough personnel to provide all the basic services expected.  And I found they were very friendly, quick to respond, and efficient.  During our 3.5 days here, we explored and enjoyed this beautiful hotel inside and out.  The hotel itself (the main building) was simply grand.  Its design and decor was a perfect balance of East Meets West, modernized traditional, understated elegance.  The layout was a bit of a labyrinth.  There were wings, corridors, and stairs you can go down to find restaurants, spa/gym/pool, conference rooms, sitting nooks, a small boat dock, and even an impressive collection of embroidery art on display.  Our rooms were large and airy, spotless, the ceiling was high, and the windows opened onto the lake.  The bathroom was spacious with a double sink and lots of counter space.  Beds and pillows were very comfortable, definitely in line with 5 star international standards.  Outside, there was a man-made lake with 2 groups of swans (or were they white geese?).  They crisscrossed the lake during the day and slept below our windows at night.  There was also a little children’s playground (with a pair of ducks) and what looked like a small amphitheater.  Several short paths allowed us to walk the sizable grounds.  Early one morning, we followed one across a little brook to the edge of the tea terrace.  Another morning, we strolled down a road flanked by bamboo that led to the beautiful villas that stood apart from the main hotel.  Everywhere, the atmosphere was tranquil and the views spectacular.  We ate most of our meals at the hotel since we were unfamiliar with the area and didn’t really want to go out looking (this was the end of a 2 week trip).  We tried both of the restaurants on-site (the Chinese and the Western/Fusion) and thought they were fine overall, since food/ingredients were fresh and of good quality.  Taste and craft were okay, not great but acceptable.  In truth, we were probably not too demanding at this point, as we had already gorged out during our previous stay in the HZ/Xihu area.  In summary, our family really liked the Fuchun Mountain Golf Resort.  We were very comfortable during our short stay.  We really appreciated the quiet calmness of the place as well as the warm service provided by the entire staff.  We would love to return.  It was an easy car ride from the HZ city area, and it was easy to hire cars to nearby and more distant attractions.  Lastly, for those interested in the 富春山居圖, there is a replica of the painting (both parts and to scale) displayed downstairs in the spa :)

WWulongaihechaMy family and I visited Xixi Wetland during the National Day holiday and stayed in Room 19 of the 'Hushu Guest House.' The 60-square-meter room was spacious and airy, perfect for three people. The decor was a charming Chinese retro style, and the garden landscape was beautiful and serene. Overall, the stay was fantastic! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 🏠 **Indoor Environment:** The room featured an entryway for shoes, a bathroom, a sitting area, a bedroom, and a private outdoor terrace. I loved being able to see the lake directly from the bed – very relaxing. A nighttime soak in the tub was wonderful, with a lovely view outside the window. 💁 **Service:** The butler and all staff members were incredibly polite and enthusiastic. There was a dedicated shuttle service from the North Gate of the wetland. After check-in, the butler thoughtfully explained the hotel's garden design and surroundings, then guided us to our room and detailed its layout. We received complimentary welcome fruit and evening service, and the entire room smelled fragrant and fresh. We also participated in a craft class with an instructor, which was a great experience. 🍃 **Outdoor Environment:** The winding paths were secluded and picturesque. All guest room areas could be accessed via a single loop, so there was no getting lost, and along the way, we experienced various scenic views. The air was fresh, there was abundant greenery, and it was very quiet – even the elderly enjoyed it. 📪 **Minor Drawbacks:** Unfortunately, the complimentary photoshoot service we were offered fell through as the collaborating photographer bailed, so we didn't get to experience that. Also, we forgot to claim the complimentary drinks at the bar.

AAnna in ChinaIt was my first trip to Hangzhou. I wanted to celebrate my husband’s birthday here and it was totally impromptu. What I was looking for: 1) a closer location to the West lake - to walk there, not to ride; 2) a balcony or courtyard; 3) and/or at least a beautiful view and surroundings; 4) as we love tea and really interested in Chinese tea culture, some tea plantation nearby could be a plus! Not many hotels seemed to meet my requirements and those which fit were way beyond our budget. Xunzhenshe hotel looked very pretty but their description was not very clear. Anyway, considering that I was booking our room just a day (!) before our arrival on Friday night, Xunzhenshe seemed to be my only choice with just two rooms left. To be honest, I didn’t expect much when we arrived. However, from the beginning the service was outstanding with a personal approach. At the hotel they greeted us as we were VIPs. Celia, an English-speaking lady, who contacted me after my booking, was extremely helpful. She gave us few recommendations about Hangzhou and the area nearby. She showed us the tea plantation just next to the hotel and a room where farmers were drying tea leaves - it was quite short but interesting introduction to the hotel environment. The hotel itself is owned and managed by a former architect. The building was built based on construction principles of the Song dynasty. As I understand, all ground floor units have their own courtyard. There is a parking lot, a tea room and a restaurant at the hotel. We were given a non-smoking one-bedroom apartment in a quieter part of the hotel and could enjoy our morning tea in our small but elegant courtyard. The apartment was clean with all necessary amenities. There was a kitchen and a dining room with a huge table (we didn’t use this room though). The breakfast buffet was included in the rate, however they offered mostly Chinese food (no problem for us as we love it). Our dinner and breakfast food were delicious! Also, we so much appreciate totally unexpected birthday presents to my husband. Upon arrival he found a little gift with a touching handwritten birthday message and then birthday noodles were served at the restaurant. So, it was very unique and memorable celebration! After all, I was really happy with my hotel’s choice. To conclude what we loved the most about this hotel: 1. Attentive and caring service 2. Nature and beautiful surroundings 3. Very good location: just next to the West lake park and bridges. Walkable distance to the famous night show Impression and Su Causeway. Not far away to Leifeng pagoda and Longjing and Meijiawu villages. 4. Good Chinese restaurant with a terrace just next to the tea plantation 5. Amazing tea Me and my husband had a great time in Xunzhenshe. Highly recommend it to those who love places with soul.
