The split-level design is super practical, with a spacious living and lounge area downstairs and a quiet, comfortable bedroom upstairs – making the most of the space. The room was clean, tidy, and well-equipped with thoughtful amenities. The location is convenient, and the service was very attentive. It offers great value for money, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit!"

"The check-in process was very fast. However, the rooms are a bit far from the main guesthouse reception, so we needed a staff member to guide us. But the young lady guiding us seemed confused about how many guests she was assigned to and ended up leading someone else away instead... Also, while there's a direct elevator up from the B1 restaurant, she had us lug our suitcases up the stairs to the ground floor before taking the elevator 😖. She was far too inexperienced. On the plus side, the room was impeccably clean and tidy, complete with welcome snacks (passion fruit and oranges). The breakfast was also rich and varied."

"Overall, the stay was very good, but there were one or two minor flaws that need to be addressed. On the first day, after arriving by high-speed train, the front desk upgraded my room, which I really appreciated. The first flaw: In the afternoon, I was exploring the city. I returned to my room around 5 PM to rest a bit before an evening stroll along the Ganjiang River. Suddenly, a staff member knocked on my door, saying they were delivering rice noodles. I was in the bathroom at the time, so I asked them to leave it at the front desk and I'd pick it up later. As I was about to lie down for a short nap, there was persistent knocking and ringing at the doorbell, again for the rice noodles. At that point, I even questioned if they were truly hotel staff, especially since there was no peephole to check. I asked them to just leave it at the door, and as they left, they asked me to write a good review. When I left at 6:30 PM, I did see the rice noodles, which finally put my mind at ease. The second flaw: The soundproofing in the hotel isn't great. On the second night, I could hear activity from the neighboring room. The hotel's facilities are excellent. It's a short walk to Tengwang Pavilion, a bit further to the Dashiyuan morning market, and even further to the 666 bus that goes to Haihun Hou. Walking in the opposite direction, you'll find Wanshou Palace and the subway station, making it very convenient for getting around. Also, the front desk mentioned that the hotel is the closest to where the National Day fireworks will be set off. Finally, if you're going to offer complimentary rice noodles, it would be better to provide them during check-in."

"The apartment is quite nice, though I initially had trouble finding it with the navigation. The owner was very patient and sent me pictures, and following those made it easy to locate. The location itself is pretty good. There are supermarkets and restaurants right downstairs, which is super convenient for shopping and dining! The room was very clean, and the duplex style is my favorite type of layout – spacious and well-equipped. It offers great value for money, and I highly recommend staying here!"

"This room is quite centrally located near Fangtang (Sugar Cube), and we got lucky with our spot this time—it was super convenient for viewing the sun-drying crops scenery (Shaiqiu) and an easy walk to Tianjie Restaurant for meals. The building has two or three floors; we stayed on the second floor, and the one above us seemed to be a king room. The first floor has an eight-immortals table in the lobby area. While the whole mountain is usually very quiet at night, the guests upstairs were very noisy and were walking around really early in the morning, which ruined our sleep. I mentioned this to the front desk, and their attitude was quite good—they said they would look into improving it. Being a wooden building, poor soundproofing is probably just something you have to live with! The hotel provides dedicated staff to pick up and drop off guests, and to handle the luggage. Since the rooms are scattered all over the scenic area, it would be hard to find them on your own. This was a very unique accommodation that gave everyone a different kind of stay experience—quite nice overall."

"Highly recommend Taoshe Resort Hotel (China Ceramic Museum Branch)! The location is excellent, very close to the Ceramic Museum, making it super convenient to get around by taxi. The owner and front desk staff are incredibly welcoming and enthusiastically shared local travel tips, even recommending authentic local dishes. It's a new Chinese-style courtyard with a strong ceramic culture ambiance, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The whole place is quiet and elegant, perfect for staying here if you're visiting the museum. It offers great value for money, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Jingdezhen."

"This hotel is genuinely only 200 steps from Wuyuan Railway Station's entrance, I measured it myself! It's a new hotel with various highlights. The lobby is bright and spacious, displaying various porcelain pieces. The rooms are smart, with Xiao Du (AI assistant) for voice commands, a projector, a bathtub, and a super large public terrace. The towels are new, and the front desk service is friendly and attentive. There's also a laundry room and a children's play area. Breakfast is 20 RMB per person and includes freshly made buns, wontons, and dumplings, along with fried dough sticks, soy milk, milk, and various porridges."

"I came all the way to Nanchang for Nicholas Tse's concert. After agonizing over hotels for ages, I finally booked the Deluxe River View Room at the Mercure Nanchang Tengwang Pavilion. The moment I opened the door and pulled back the curtains, there it was—the Tengwang Pavilion standing right outside the window, with the Gan River flowing just below. My room was on a fairly high floor with an unobstructed view. By day, the ancient pavilion and river layered together exude a timeless charm; by night, once the lights come on, it’s a completely different world. The entire structure is outlined in warm lighting, casting its reflection across the river. You can take in the entire night view right from your bed, saving you from fighting the crowds at the scenic spot. After getting back from the concert, completely exhausted, taking a shower and leaning against the window to zone out while watching the city lights was the ultimate way to decompress and finally catch my breath. As for dining, the breakfast was much more ”Nanchang” than I expected. I didn't hold high hopes for hotel breakfast beforehand, but as soon as I walked in, I saw a station cooking mixed rice noodles (banfen), right next to earthenware pot soup (wuguantang). The soup was simmered in tiny individual pots, and you could add your own toppings to the noodles. The taste was just as good as the famous spots outside that have long queues. Even better, breakfast is served until 11:00 AM, which is an absolute lifesaver for concert-goers. With my voice hoarse from shouting the night before, I could sleep in until 10:00 AM, saunter down for a leisurely meal, and avoid the morning rush. What I appreciated most about the service was that it wasn't ”over-the-top or scripted.” When checking in at the front desk, the staff noticed I was there for the concert and proactively told me what time it would end and the best walking route back—none of that stiff, rehearsed script delivery. Bottled water was given out generously and was always available in the lobby. After returning from the concert with my throat burning, walking in and chugging half a bottle of water right away—little details like that are way more practical than any welcome fruit. Location is definitely this hotel's strongest trump card. Cross a single street and you're at the North Gate of the Tengwang Pavilion; it's a mere 3 to 5-minute walk to the entrance. There’s a subway for getting to the concert, and walking back afterwards is a breeze. Head east downstairs for a few minutes and you'll hit the Dashiyuan Food Street—rice noodles, white sugar cakes, boiled street snacks. The day after the concert, I dived straight in for a food crawl, which was way more fun than hunting down chain restaurants in a mall. If you're here purely for sightseeing, this location easily connects the Tengwang Pavilion and Wanshou Palace into a single walking route. If you're here for a concert, it sits right in that sweet spot of being ”quiet amidst the hustle and bustle,” meaning you won't be kept awake by the outside noise when you return at night. Half the price of the Deluxe River View Room goes to the view outside your window, and the other half goes to that bed where you can quietly recover after an exhausting concert. I came here for Nicholas Tse, but ended up captivated by the room's night view. If I ever visit Nanchang again, I’ll most likely stay here again."

"Autumn's fairy tale town, half misty rain, half poetry, half stairs, half slopes. When you come to Wuyuan, you must see Huangling's 'sun-drying autumn' (晒秋). If it's a holiday, definitely stay overnight. You can enjoy the night view performance in the evening, and the next day, before the crowds arrive, you can easily take serene photos of Huangling's 'sun-drying autumn'. I highly recommend Yishanju for accommodation. Its location is absolutely superb. Right outside, you'll find 'sun-drying autumn' photo spots, and taking the elevator to the first floor directly leads to Shuijie (Water Street). The rooms are clean and hygienic. For three adults and one child, the pink-themed family balcony room was spacious, and opening the window revealed mountain views. A light rain added to the autumn charm with its misty atmosphere. My friend's king-size balcony room had an even better location, offering direct views of the 'sun-drying autumn' spot from the main street. Breakfast is provided with a shuttle service to the bamboo house across the street, which is at a lower elevation. The breakfast spread is comprehensive, so you'll definitely eat your fill. Guests staying at the hotel have an exclusive cable car channel for ascending the mountain. Upon disembarking the cable car, there's a shuttle bus that takes you directly to the hotel reception. There are many dining options throughout the scenic area. I highly recommend staying a night at Yishanju."
