Extremely satisfied with this experience! The entire hotel is like a scenic spot in itself. Plus, our butler, Graves, was incredibly responsive and thoughtful. It's a very distinctive garden hotel, with charming bridges and flowing water, offering a beautiful view at every turn. The facilities are comprehensive, including a swimming pool, tennis courts, golf, and a gym, and parking is very convenient. Don't miss the night view of Panmen Scenic Area, or the afternoon tea and Hanfu experience! Oh, and the location is excellent too, making it easy to get to Pingjiang Road, Lion Grove Garden, and the Suzhou Museum. I'd love to bring my parents here next time for another visit!

If you visit Yangzhou, this is the only hotel I recommend anyone to stay at. It has the gorgeous Chinese garden that spreads out for miles. I stayed in building 3 (the only building offered on the internet when I booked). The hotel is connected (walk over the bridge) to the Slender Lake. Staff were very courteous and helpful. My room was tidied up everyday. Breakfast was not include in the room rate but there is a Starbuck nearby where I had my morning coffee and pastry. The room has a balcony, overlooking some trees and other building. Most of the restaurants/eateries were closed (probably due to low season). However, there are a lot of local restaurants in the old town area and Guan Dong Street; it costs about 10 Yuans to take a taxi to get there.

Absolutely fantastic, really great! I'm a local university student and I stayed here for two nights during the National Day holiday. The moment I walked into the room, I felt so happy. The large floor-to-ceiling windows offered an expansive view, and the night scenery was beautiful. There are many shopping malls nearby, and the subway station is very close, making transportation convenient. Food delivery also arrived quickly. The owner was also very nice! I'll definitely stay here again next time I need a place to stay!

Hygiene: Very clean, with daily housekeeping done promptly.
Environment: The hotel's small garden landscape is very elegant.
Service: The front desk service is thoughtful and attentive.

This trip was for the Nanjing Marathon, and I spent a lot of time deliberating over hotels beforehand. Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform) highly recommended hotels in Xinjiekou, so I focused my search there. Jinling Hotel is undeniably the best in this area (not counting the unconventional Carlton, which is a different story), but the price is relatively higher. I was initially hesitant, but considering I was with my wife and child, I decided it was worth splurging for a better stay.
**Service:** First, let's talk about the service. It certainly lives up to Jinling Hotel's reputation. We arrived in the morning, and as soon as we got out of the car, the doorman proactively came to help with our luggage, very polite and attentive. Upon entering the lobby, another staff member actively opened the door, greeting us with a smile and politeness. When checking in, the front desk staff was also very polite and enthusiastic. The overall feeling was excellent, truly commendable.
**Environment:** Since I had to wake up early for the marathon the next day and didn't want to disturb my wife and child, I specifically booked a junior suite in the Jinling Tower. The room was very spacious with a logical layout. The bedroom, bathroom, and living room all had sliding doors for separation, which was a fantastic design. The room was tidy and clean. Welcome fruits and sodas were complimentary, and chargeable items were clearly marked. Thumbs up!
**Amenities:** We booked a room with breakfast. The listed price seemed to be over 100 per person, but it was definitely worth the money, and the variety was incredibly rich. As a result, there were really a lot of people eating breakfast in the morning. However, it was a bit disappointing that breakfast didn't open earlier on the day of the marathon. We missed out on breakfast that first morning. In fact, since it was the annual local major event, I saw quite a few guests getting up early for the marathon, so it might be worth considering opening an hour earlier on that day. (We ended up eating instant noodles in the room that day.)
**Location:** The hotel's location is excellent. Just turn left out of the hotel compound, and you'll find a subway entrance (Line 6), making it very convenient to get anywhere.
**P.S.:** We stayed for two nights. On the second night, in the middle of the night, we heard two strange noises outside the window, similar to equipment starting up. Both my wife and I were woken up. My wife reported the situation to the front desk when checking out. The front desk staff was very professional and polite, repeatedly apologizing and explaining it was caused by a generator or something similar. Afterward, they gave our child a jigsaw puzzle as compensation. In reality, it wasn't a major issue and didn't affect us much, but the hotel's handling of the situation was very thoughtful. I'd like to give them a separate shout-out for that.
In summary, our whole family was very satisfied with our stay at Jinling Hotel. If there's a next time, we will definitely choose Jinling Hotel again. (I didn't take any photos of the room, but it looks exactly like the official pictures.)

The hotel boasts an excellent location, right in Wuxi's bustling commercial district. Suning Plaza is directly downstairs, and Henglong Plaza and Pacific Department Store are both less than a ten-minute walk away. The hotel facilities are superb, and the cleanliness is impeccable. I even received a room upgrade, and the night view was spectacular, overlooking the city center's high-rises. The service was also excellent. I had lost an item and asked housekeeping for help; frankly, I didn't have much hope. But amazingly, they found a tiny gold piece, smaller than a fingernail! This truly speaks to the housekeeping staff's dedication and responsibility. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

The room decor and layout have a garden-like charm. My window overlooked the side entrance of the Suzhou Folk Museum. Sitting on the tatami mat by the window in the early morning or evening, enjoying the view and sipping tea, it was so peaceful and pleasant.
The location is excellent, very close to the Humble Administrator's Garden, Suzhou Museum, Lion Grove Garden (right opposite), and the subway station. Pingjiang Road is about a 10-minute walk away.
There are many restaurants nearby. Using group deals from certain apps (e.g., ** and **) is a good option. If you want to dine by the water, you can find group deals for restaurants on Pingjiang Road. However, I'd recommend avoiding the one at the beginning of Yuanlin Road – their service was poor, and they didn't offer group deals. Since many restaurants offer similar dishes with comparable flavors, there's no need to pick an overly expensive one. If you're looking for something really good, choose a local time-honored brand. (The waterside restaurant on the left in the last picture is the one I advise against.)
Other than the walls which can have abit of stain, in general, the hotel is very clean and comfortable l, the windows is double glazed so you don't hear street noise, the staffs are very friendly, opposite the hotel, there are eateries as well as night market, you will be spoilt for choices for food. However if you are a tourist and your stay in Nanjing is short, I wouldn't recommend this hotel as it quite a distance and time by metro to almost all the attractions in Nanjing

Perfect location, taxi can be dropped off right in front of the hotel, and across the street from the hotel is the famous laomendong area, where you can find the amazing nanjing impression restaurant, this one is the more impressive looking space than other branches.
Professional, well organised, rooms are cleaned and tidied, water, tea, and toiletries replenished every day.
Plenty common areas to use, convenient, great value for money.

XXavierasyI booked a suite for 2 nights at the Courtyard by Marriott the night before I came from Xi'an because I wanted to visit Niushoushan, Jinling Xiaocheng, and other tourist spots nearby.
The location of the Courtyard is actually not bad; it's right beside the Hedingqiao metro station, and many food booths and convenience stores are just downstairs. You can buy takeaway at any time. The reception staff is nice and helpful and can speak very good English, no doubt.
The worst was the concierge. One of the concierge staff has been playing on his cellphone every single moment. I took Didi or the metro at least 4 or 5 times every day. Every time I pass through the entrance, he is playing on his phone.
The most frustrating part was when I ordered takeaway through the app. The delivery man said he placed it on the concierge cart right next to that guy, but someone took my package, and he didn't notice. YEAH, How could he possibly know if he was preoccupied with his phone ?!

NNicolefuguixianrenThe owner decorated the small yard beautifully. It is very comfortable to sit on the swing in the evening in this season. It is a kind of enjoyment.
AArdent travellerWe had a room facing a small but beautiful courtyard.
The hotel is located smack in the heart of Pingjiang pedestrian Road which is of cobbled stone. Hotel staff are most willing to assist those travelling with many luggages (and myself with an octogenarian), it is located between Tongli bridge and Chaohuxu Lane/ bridge. (depicted in photos).
Fresh and sweet cherry tomatoes are always ready by the frontdesk - pop a few in the mouth any time to guench thirst.

TTheOGJayoAmazing hotel. The owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating! They upgraded us into a larger room as they felt the one we booked would be a bit too small for a family of four. The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable (firm beds which we love) and the bathroom was modern.
The location is perfect: very quiet but close to busy areas. The hotel staff even helped us by doing laundry for us multiple times during our stay.
The owner gave us multiple teas to bring home, which were all delicious. Our girls loved the dog in the lobby too.
I would love to stay at this hotel again if I return back to Nanjing. We stayed at hotels in Beijing, Shenyang and Dalian and this hotel was much nicer than all of those hotels!
Note: my wife is Chinese, so that definitely helped with communication, but I feel the staff would have made us feel comfortable even if we only spoke English.

Both lines go to many tourist attractions, making it super convenient for getting around. The hotel lobby also has a self-service laundry room that's available all day. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserI booked Hanyuan because it is within walking distance to my folks home. And my grandma used to work at Nanjing Agricultural University, which the hotel is affiliated with. I read others’ reviews and knew it is an old facility. I did not have unrealistic expectations.
We arrived late at night. Taxi driver dropped us off at the side entrance that has numerous stairs to the door. We had lots of luggage. As we got out of the cab, we saw some staff member in the lobby looking out. Instead of coming out to help us, he walked away. My husband, myself and our seven year old all carried/dragged multiple items up the stairs to get into the hotel lobby.
We checked in and decided that we would need to add a bed for the kid. House keeping came quickly to set up the bed but was reluctant to provide pillows for the additional bed. I had to repeatedly ask before they agreed to bring an extra pillow. Don’t understand why there is such resistance to equip the additional bed with pillow- after all, we did pay for the additional bed.
Everything else was pretty good during our first three-day-stay. We then went away to visit families elsewhere for a week before coming back to this hotel.
This time, our car drove onto the ramp at the front entrance. As soon as we entered the building, lobby manager came to offer us help. He helped us deliver luggage to our room. We are very appreciative of his assistance.
We ran into some issues at the front desk this time. They asked for our passports again and took our pictures for a second time. When I mentioned that we were just here a week ago and all information was taken already, we were told that all information has been erased as we checked out. When we checked in/out the first time, we informed front desk that we were making the hotel our base camp and will be coming in and out a few times. It’s strange that they would delete our information and redo everything all over again.
Again we need to add a bed. House keeping brought a roller bed which has a stained mattress pad. I asked them to bring a clean one, they said they could not. They said they didn’t have any clean pads. They said the only option is to remove the pad and put the sheets directly on the mattress. They further suggested that since the sheet is clean, dirty pad doesn’t matter and that every mattress pad under bed sheets has urine stains. His words made my stomach turn but I was too tired to fight so they went ahead put sheets on top of the mattress pad that has a big yellow stain. Again I asked for pillows for the additional bed, they refused at first, upon my insistence, they agreed to bring pillows. They also took out a blanket from the cabinets under television and put it on the bed.
When the seven year old was ready for bed, I opened the blanket and realized it’s cover is dirty. It’s dusty and has multiple stings of hair on it. I called house keeping, a lady quickly bought over a clean duvet cover for the blanket but refused to take away the dirty one. She insisted that we keep the dirty duvet in the closet. I did not understand her rationale but there isn’t anything I can do. So that dirty duvet cover stayed in the closet.
Maybe I should not have come back to this hotel.

11595191****Located in the Science and Technology City of Suzhou High-tech Zone, the surrounding area integrates the elements of ”technology, landscape, and humanities” and is close to an artificial lake. The environment is quiet and suitable for vacation.
The hotel is close to Taihu Avenue and has convenient transportation, but the business atmosphere in the Science and Technology City area is relatively quiet, and you need to travel a short distance to nearby commercial entities.
With environmental protection, natural landscape and family-friendly facilities as its core advantages, Element Suzhou is suitable for tourists seeking a quiet vacation or a short business trip. Its kitchen configuration and parent-child services are particularly outstanding, but improvements need to be made in terms of spraying less air freshener and surrounding convenience.

GGuest UserThe RV we booked has a separate RV barbecue area. The RV is clean and sanitary. The upper and lower bunks for children are narrow but also very delicate, clean, and safe. They are soft-padded and the children like them very much. The outdoor environment is particularly good, with a small train, a cruise ship, and a children's play area. The scenic area is relatively large, and the room service is also great. You can call the front desk at any time to arrange a sightseeing bus to pick you up.
