Unbelievable fantastic experience! This hotel is just opposite the cable car station sitting beside a food street with supermarket behind and several 24/7 convenient stores around. But location is the least point to mention. Traveling with seniors and kids is always challenging. Due to the miscommunications, we initially booked wrongly and luckily the reception team helped us to communicate with Trip.com and settled it down without any hiccups. Besides that, the reception lady - Alice (WeChat name is Soda Water) added me in WeChat as our butler, and she did respond to my requests promptly and arranged things nicely. Really appreciate it! Lastly, this hotel also provides some snacks at night which is a surprise to us. 🥰

You get what you pay for, which is not much. Upon arriving, there is no sign that says 'Luyao Inn'. The sign is in Chinese characters. We were dragging our suitcases up and down the alley when the host finally came out. The room was on the second floor (4 flight of stairs) and there are no elevators. We had 4 suitcases and we did not receive help getting those up. The room was small, as indicated in the description. You get two bottles of water, toothbrushes and shower gel, shampoo and a small roll of toilet paper. None of those were replaced. We ran out of water and toilet paper and had to get our own. The host was barely around for us to ask. In any case, those are things that are usually replenished on a daily basis, without needing to ask. There is a kettle. No slippers. The shower and the toilet are in the same unit, therefore everything gets wet when you shower. You get shower slippers that have been used by others and do not look the best. The wall paper is also coming off the walls. The curtain was broken. The bedding had a weird sweat smell. The host was polite but does not speak English. You can communicate with them on wechat. The location is convenient, very close to the cableway station to Tianmen mountain. On our way out, there was someone else working, he helped us with our suitcases. To conclude, one can make do with the the space but do not go in with a lot of expectations (especially if you are used to Chinese hotels that give great service and hospitality).

Excellent service by the front office staff who was extremely helpful, friendly, professional and polite - Miss Xiao Ting gave an fabulous overview of the Zhangjiajie National Park and tour strategy to maximize our time time. She helped us to make the relevant bookings and even arranged a courier service (for just RMB20 per piece)to move our luggages to another hotel (closer to Tianmen area) when we checked out. Hotel / room was very clean, modern and comfortable. Location is just a few mins walk to the East gate of the National Park

The hotel has an elegant environment and a superior location. It is located next to a small river. Across the river is the East Gate of Zhangjiajie, which can be reached in ten minutes on foot. There are also restaurants and supermarkets around the hotel, which is very convenient. The hotel staff are very warm and polite, the room is clean and odorless, the decoration is luxurious, and the breakfast is quite rich. Overall, I feel satisfied.

My flight to ZJJ got cancelled and I had to stay for a night near to the train station. Booked last minute and was thankful that the staff upgraded our room for us. We had a restful night. Room was well kept and there is laundry service downstairs. The staff were highly responsive, kind and helpful. Other than the noise level and crowd even at late night… this hotel will be perfect if you need a location near the train station. 🤩💕

Nice of hotel to upgrade my stay to a new room. Spacious new room. Changsha is very hot in Sept and caught a fever. Hotel allows me to extend until 2.50pm. Buffet is mainly Chinese style - with bread/buns and toaster. To reach hotel from subway underground maze, head for Exit7 (all stairs), walk 150m as the hotel entrance is on the side road. Main shopping street for ladies 黄金街underground is 10mins walk- must bargain! Go to the large 茶颜悦色 on 2nd floor of 7mall (a mall block besides hotel) for food tasting before buying food souvenirs home.

I paid $191 NZD for 3 nights, pretty good deal! Clean, smart room, looks new, mostly quiet, could hear the hallway noises and some traffic noises (from the 15th floor) but not the next door room noises. Smoking was allowed outside I think, but was not an issue/the room did not stink of cigarettes even though there was an ashtray inside. Staff don’t speak English but with a bit of my Chinese I could communicate with them for the free trip from the West railway station to the hotel (15min car ride away). The bus station was about 10mins walk to catch the 1hr bus to the ZJJ National park, while the Tianmen mountain cable car was maybe 20mins walk away. Some nice restaurants and mini supermarkets nearby too. Would recommend.

I booked the Huajin room. It's spacious and like most hotels now, the toilet area is quite open without a proper door for you to lock. Thus it's suitable for couples. For friends travelling together, taking their suite is better as you have a big toilet area divided out with wooden doors and lock for privacy. There's no fridge for the Huajin room. Their suite has everything from weighing scale to fridge. Their service is wonderful though. When I feedback about smelling cigarettes in the morning (I booked the non smoking room in a non smoking floor), they apologised earnestly and offered to change a room. Breakfast choice is okie. Not a big spread but a few options for each type.

Well I'd give 10 stars for the owner. Hats off for all her effort, she took care of us in every possible way. Had us picked from the railway station, helped with the entry tickets, even helped with our bulky luggage. She offered us different rooms to choose from. The room has a balcony with a beautiful view of the river. It is a little worn out but still a great choice with a wonderful location. The amenities include hairdryer, kettle, toiletries and an amazing ac/heater. You can arrange a return transfer with them for just RMB 20. The generous lady and her hospitality exceeded our expectations. She even prepared us a breakfast to go. Would certainly recommend this wonderful little inn.

Reception is on 6th floor. Even the staff don't speak English there was no problem to communicate with little help of translation app. Hotel located in great area close to Wuyi Square. I could walk around comfortably. Stayed for a few days and will return when visiting Changsha next time.

This place is great. The girls at the front desk were nice and always in touch. They spoke English to me when I checked in, which is rare 🫶 I only stayed here for three nights, but if I had the time I would have stayed longer. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel was so nice that they upgraded me to a bigger room with a great view of the river. If I ever find myself in this city again, I will definitely stay here. Это место великолепно. Они говорили со мной по-английски, когда я регистрировался, что бывает редко 🫶 Я останавливался здесь всего на три ночи, но если бы у меня было время, я бы остался подольше. Hotel staff is located in a premium estate. A minute walk to the subway and a few minutes walk to the major shopping district. The hotel staff is very professional and serves you well. Rooms are clean and hygienic, towels are safe to use, and the toilet bowl is clean. Although you are paying a higher cost for the hotel, the views and stay is very pleasant

The hotel located into the Changsha south railway station, you face to the station in front, the hotel on your right, only 3-5 mins by walk to check-in the train, so so fasttttt. The staffs were very nice and helpful, especially, the guy with glasses night shift on 2024.11.01. The room was very cozy and good, BUT I smell the smoke all the time because it’s smoking room, I guess. The BF was very nice, there were a variety of choices; western or eastern style. i love it!

The location is right on Wuyi Square. Just go down to the street we can find so many street food stores and shopping areas. The Wuyi Square metro station is in front of the building. It’s very easy to go to anywhere. The staff have a very good service mind.

I had a wonderful stay at Chang Hotel near Wuyi Square and the IFS International Financial Center in Changsha. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. One of the highlights was the in-room breakfast service, which was not only convenient but also delicious, with a great variety of options. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a busy day. The hotel’s prime location made it easy to explore the city.

Overall it was an amazing hotel right in the centre of zhangjiajie. Walking distance to the cable car entrance and nearby can find many eateries. It was a modern hotel with top notch technology in the room like AI controlling the curtain, tv and air con etc. pleasant stay and should have stay longer if time permit.

Located just beside 宝峰湖. Got discounted entrance tickets. Staffs were extremely helpful and patience with explanation of ticket, routes, discounts etc. We were extremely tired and lazy to go out for meals, staff help us order food delivery. This was extremely helpful for foreigners that do not have local no. we really appreciate. Hot food delivered to our rooms while we can enjoy the spacious room and comfortable bed. Free shuttle service to East gate makes visiting 张家界森林公园 even more convenient

We enjoyed our stay so much with another couple friends! The hotel provided free pick up service from high speed rail station so that was the first good impression . Room was spacious, beautiful decorated and clean. It is located at a perfect location (behind the Tianmenshan cable car station, restaurants, shops around) . The staff was super friendly , warmth and welcoming . Especially Ms Xiong 熊管家. We came back to stay for another night and arrived very early so she kept a look out for any empty room available so we could check in early .

We had a great trip. The hotel service was excellent, friendly people greeted us from the plane. They also helped us a lot in planning our trip. We loved the breakfast at the hotel. They quickly booked a car to see the beautiful natural attractions. They took great care during the trip. After the trip, they took us to the train station. The welcome and pick-up service was great. I wish the hotel team every success in their work.

Very good service in give National Forest guide direction For people who first time coming to Zhangjiajie like us, this hotel has very good service. They provide some staff that assist tourists to get a guide direction in Zhangjiajie National Forest route. This national forest park is very huge. The entrance ticket is available for 4 days visit. So you can imagine how big this area is. Therefore, if you do not have enough time, you need a brief information that helps us arrange the excellent routes so that we can get the point of view and enjoy it. That is the purpose of this staff, to help us, bravo! Thanks to Huan Huan, female staff, your instruction is awesome. The hotel room is spacious enough, but lacks of wardrobe. Breakfast is amazing with many varian cuisine. There is a free laundry service that is very helpful for long tourists like us. The kind thing is this hotel put drinking water (bottles) everywhere. It is very pleasant, so hotel guests do not worry about drinking anymore. One more satisfying thing is the drain shower. The water pressure is strong but soft. Getting our body washed with a treatment like this after a tiring journey is very enjoyable.

Staff were very friendly. You can get recommendations from them on the best route to tour Fenghuang. We had big luggage with us (28”/30”& 32”). The accommodations do not have an elevator. The staff kindly carried all our luggage to our room when we checked in and down to level 1 when we checked out. Tip for travellers: if you are not expecting to do much shopping. Would be better to travel light.

Overall, would definitely recommend if staying in Furongzhen! :)

This hotel is in the middle of the city and has great view from room (hotel is above waterfall, so no waterfall view). It has a great room, service with an affordable price. Owner contacts us before arrival date for an appointment to pick up at train station. They help us buy ticket to enter the city and also call a taxi for us on checkout date.

Service was great, picking up from the railway station and dropping us there after checkout. I forgot to return the room card and they were friendly and attentive to pick it themselves at the railway station. Thanks

This Hotel Offers great waterfall views. I would say it has the best views in town! The room was small but comfortable and had a nice balcony to observe the beautiful surroundings. The staff were friendly and helpful. A downside was that there was no tea/ coffee in the room.

Nice view from the balcony but is not exactly at the main waterfalls area. Room is nice and clean and bed is comfortable. Hotel staff is friendly to help us to purchase entrance ticket and share what's around the area. Hotel provided 1 way free pick up from train station but will need to pay for the return but I think is fine. They will help to arrange for carpooling. The road is uneven so will take some time to drag the luggages from entrance to hotel. There is no lift in the town, so we need to carry our luggage 2 flight of steps downward (no choice). Hotel staff also willing to help carry. Overall a great stay even is 1 night only. Will recommend to stay in this hotel.

The view from the room was amazing. We absolutely loved the balcony. It was our favourite hang out place during our 2 nights stay. The room was very spacious for 3 people. The bed was comfortable. They have proper amenities available. The toilet was very big. The location of the hotel was very convenient and it is walking distance to all the main attractions. It was a plus point as we were travelling with elderly people. The hotel staffs were very helpful and approachable, they provided us the digital map and gave us guidance on how to walk around the ancient town. They also offered better ticket pricings for the different attractions that was available. They came to fetch us when we arrived at the Nan Hua Men. They also arranged transport for us to the railway station as we were a group of 6. Only downside was the noise from the vehicles in the eating street in front of the hotel, and some tour groups start their tour as early as 7am in the morning, as they walk by along the TuoJiang river. However, that was not an issue for us. We woke up early to sit at the balcony and have our morning coffee while watching people passing by.

This place has a few things going for it. The rooms are pretty nice, practicality of a large bath/small pool in the room that takes a lifetime to fill notwithstanding. Pretty good view of the river The location suits those who like to be close to the action, but not right in the middle of it. If you want to see the town without being overwhelmed the moment you step out of your hotel, this place is ideal.And the staff is super friendly and helpful. It does suffer from the fact that some of the amenities seem to have been largely forgotten. Solid stay, but if you look closely, there may be a few rough edges.

I am a Malaysian tourist. A Malaysian tour guide said that the accommodation in Fenghuang is very dirty. So I found this B&B with many reviews, which seems to have just opened in July. They will contact us at what time to arrive. Once we arrive, the proprietress will warmly welcome us, and then the staff will help us take our luggage and take it to the room. She also gave us tips on nearby food. This place offers free Miao costumes and exquisite makeup for 50 yuan. Their makeup artists are not the kind of assembly line, but more careful than the makeup artists I took when I went to Guangzhou for filming. My mother-in-law and I like the makeup they put on for me. Because of her free service, we took pictures of Fenghuang at night and in the morning😍 It won't be noisy at night. Their road is open to traffic, so the driver took us downstairs without having to pull the luggage. After checking out, the staff took us to the high-speed rail station for free. The highlight is that there is also an amusement park, which my baby likes very much. I highly recommend this to Malaysian friends.
