I stayed at the Funley International Hotel in Hefei's Economic Development Zone, and overall, it was a great experience. The location is very convenient, with Metro Line 7 providing direct access to the hotel. There are plenty of attractions and shopping malls nearby; Huizhou Garden and the Oceanarium are right next door. A two-stop metro ride gets you to Sam's Club, and the Zhengda Plaza and Zhonghuan City offer a wide variety of dining, entertainment, and shopping options. The room was spacious and didn't feel cramped, and the cleanliness was meticulously maintained. The front desk staff were warm and polite; they even offered bottled water on a hot day. The restaurant's food was delicious, and with three meals included in the room rate, it offers excellent value for money and is definitely worth staying at.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! Sitting on the balcony, I could quietly sip tea while gazing at Tiandu Peak, Renzi Waterfall, and the lush forest below, truly communing with the mountains. In the early morning, I’d take a stroll, heading up the steps right outside the hotel, listening to the murmuring stream, and breathing in the abundant negative oxygen ions while meditating. This meditation spot is so peaceful, like a secluded paradise, with the pond water crystal clear and emerald green. It truly brought to life the descriptions from Liu Zongyuan's 'The Little Pond in Stone-dwelling': 'Through the bamboo grove, I heard the sound of water, like jingling jade pendants, and my heart rejoiced. Cutting through the bamboo, I found a small pond below, its water especially clear and cold. The bottom was entirely rock, and near the bank, a rocky base emerged, forming islets, shallows, and crags. Green trees and vibrant vines intertwined, swaying, and gracefully draping.' This is truly another wonderful way to experience Huangshan! The hotel also provided attentive and detailed butler and transfer services. Every meal was unique and incredibly delicious. On our last day, with a flight at 10 PM, the hotel kindly allowed us to extend our check-out until 8 PM and even drove us to the airport. My sincere thanks to every staff member for their help. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Huangshan and staying here again.

From the very beginning to the moment we checked out, everything felt thoughtful, well-organized, and genuinely welcoming. Even before our arrival, the host proactively contacted us via WeChat to confirm details and assist with planning. Communication was extremely smooth and responsive — no matter what time of day we had questions, we always received quick and helpful replies. For a destination like Jiuhua Mountain, where logistics and routes can feel overwhelming for first-time visitors, this kind of support makes a huge difference and immediately puts you at ease. The room itself exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, bright, and very comfortable, with a layout that worked perfectly for a family stay. Unlike many homestays that feel cramped, this room had plenty of space to relax, unpack, and truly rest. What impressed us most was the overall sense of being well taken care of. This is not a place where service is performative or scripted — it feels sincere and consistent. From the communication, to the comfort of the room, to the little details like afternoon tea and thoughtful guidance, everything worked together to create a genuinely memorable stay. The location is undeniably perfect, right at Lion Forest, making it super convenient for catching both sunrise and sunset. Since there aren't many people around, the room was really quiet. I absolutely loved the big balcony facing the majestic mountains, and I even saw squirrels hopping among the branches – that view alone is worth at least 3,000 yuan, in my opinion! 😂 However, the room rate of nearly 7,000 yuan felt a bit inflated, probably due to it being peak summer season. On the other hand, the butler service was very warm and enthusiastic. They even gave us a souvenir when we checked out. I left my phone charger in the room, and they kindly mailed it back to me. If I ever get the chance again, I'd love to see Huangshan in the snow.

The room is very clean and new. it is very close to Tunxi old street, and travel is very convenient. The price is also very affordable. A lady at the front desk(Miss 吴） is also very enthusiastic and friendly to tourists. She is very considerate of tourists. She also recommend travel guides to 黄山. I highly recommend this hotel.

The best 4 days ever! Highly recommend this hotel! We were a group of 8 people and had an unforgettable stay here. The hotel owner is one of the kindest and most helpful people we’ve ever met. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us warmly, gave us great local recommendations, and even personally drove us to each destination! On the day we went hiking in the mountains, he provided us with free walking sticks. He helped us with everything — arranging transfers, buying entrance tickets, and planning the route. He also allowed us to check in early and check out late, which was incredibly convenient. I shared room 8303 with my friend. The room is designed for two people and had two separate beds, both very comfortable to sleep in. There was also an air conditioner in the room, which made our stay even more pleasant. Another thing we’re super grateful for — the owner kindly let us do laundry. After hiking in the mountains, our clothes definitely needed it! The view from the window was absolutely stunning. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, full of natural light, and have plenty of power outlets. The showers were great, with clean water and convenient showerheads. There were all the necessary toiletries: body soap, shampoo — we recommend bringing your own conditioner if needed. The hotel can also prepare food for guests. We really enjoyed the tomato and egg noodles — delicious and homey. There’s also a local café nearby where we had breakfast a few times. The hotel is located in the mountains, perfectly positioned for visiting nearby attractions, waterfalls, hiking spots, and even riding quad bikes. A tip: bring a good quality raincoat if you’re visiting during rainy weather! Nevertheless, the hotel will most likely never join any international hotel group because there's simply no need. Its enviable, superb location alone guarantees it a fortune every year. As for anything else, it's completely irrelevant. The Baiyun Hotel is ranked 80th in Asia's Top 100 ”Scenic View” Hotels, a testament to its undeniable strength. It's worth noting that most hotels on this list are establishments like Four Seasons and St. Regis. Its inclusion reconfirms the irreplaceable beauty of its sunrise and sunset views, a feature unrivaled anywhere else in Huangshan. Due to its geographical location, cramped room sizes are almost inevitable. After all, there's limited space on the mountaintop, making expansion difficult. As for the observation deck, it's just a few hundred steps away, which is incredibly convenient for those with limited physical ability, such as the elderly, young, sick, or weak. Poor sound insulation, simple rooms, high prices, queues for breakfast, and mediocre management are all shortcomings that need improvement. The first type is boutique guesthouses, all from ”Yun Ji.” The well-known ones are Shilin Ya She and Shuguang Li, as well as the more niche Sanhua Jing She. Of course, if you're not staying in Hongcun and only visiting Huangshan itself, then the Baiyun Hotel becomes an excellent, affordable alternative (even though the soft and hard facilities are incomparable, the scenery is truly infinitely beautiful). Huangshan's 3 districts and 4 counties have their culinary highlights mainly concentrated in Huangshan District, Tunxi District, and Yi County. I highly recommend Zhong Da Chu Stinky Mandarin Fish at Ziyun Pavilion in Gaoxin District (Tunxi). Tourist attractions are primarily in Tunxi District, Huizhou District, Yi County, She County, and Huangshan District. For instance, Xixinan Ancient Village is perfect for stunning photos in traditional costumes. I called and he immediately drove to move my luggage. It was very quick, so it's no problem if you don't drive yourself. The room is relatively new and clean, and there is a large terrace. Next to it is a small river with very clear water. The environment feels better than some hotels at the foot of the mountain. The breakfast is relatively simple, and you can add more if it's not enough. I just came back from climbing the mountain and I was not feeling well and wanted to eat something light. Overall, I still recommend it

I highly recommend Baofojiao Youth Hostel for solo travelers to Jiuhua Mountain. The rooms are very clean and odor-free. The bathroom has a smart toilet, and the cleaning staff keeps it spotless. There's a very friendly cat at the hostel; I heard it was a stray cat adopted by previous volunteers, and it's incredibly cute. The staff are also very friendly and patiently explain the Jiuhua Mountain itinerary. Sitting on the bench outside the hostel and just relaxing is especially comfortable.
