Château nova is a large hotel on the outskirts of Yellowknife. Our sweet spacious with a well equipped kitchen and beautiful views of the lake. The beds were clean and extremely comfortable. The only downside was the Construction being done across the street. We enjoyed our stay, Breakfast at their restaurant and the customer service at the Front Desk.

About 20 min from the airport. Great shuttle service. Beds were comfy, the rooms and hotel were clean and well maintained. Convenient dining (with a good view of outside) and lounge, with great food. located right in the hotel. Staff was accommodating and informative. Also, would stay there again. I think the only thing missing, was a little store for toiletries and snacks.

The sound insulation is not good, and the room environment is really dilapidated. We always leave the windows open because the temperature in the room cannot be adjusted. Opening the windows will provide better air. But this is the case in this area. There doesn't seem to be any high-end, new hotels. The accommodation environment is not very clean, maybe everyone came back in the snow. We stayed there for four days. Breakfast is simple. All nearby restaurants close early. . .

When I arrived, the room type I originally booked was not available. Help me free upgrade left Full facilities in the room There is a microwave oven in the kitchen so you can cook your own food. Provide free shuttle bus to the airport The only thing that deducts points is that security is not done well. In the middle of the night, a strange uncle came to the lobby and masturbated I don’t know why the residents have to let him in🌚

It is located downtown, so you can walk to tourist attractions, and most of all, the owner was kind and the coffee was delicious:) I think it was nice because the house was warm and clean.
Super 8 by Wyndham Yellowknife

There are Walmart, McDonald's and Tim Hortons around, and there is an Independent supermarket within a few minutes' walk. The room is a bit old, and the electricity has tripped, but the surprise is that there is a hot water boiler (not a drip coffee machine) and a microwave oven. These two things are It’s a good thing when it’s 30 degrees outside. Although the breakfast is until 10am, there is not much left when it arrives at 9am, and there will be no additions. The staff is also very nice and willing to help passengers.
Capital Suites Yellowknife
3.3/527 Reviews
Having stayed at Capital Suites Inuvik we jumped at the chance to stay here. The disappointment starts with the entry. The ground floor check-in area looks worn and tired. The building looks like an older apartment block converted into hotel suites. The suites, consisting of a living area/kitchen area and separate bedroom & bathroom seems pretty good at first glance. The kitchen cabinetry, table and sofas all look good. The bed is comfy and the bedding good quality. But then you spot the paint scrapes, old artex ceiling finish circa 1970, there’s no TV program guide so you can’t work out what’s on (a common problem), the tin opener won’t work and noise permeates both from the central corridor and footfalls from above, probably in part because carpet has been replaced with vinyl flooring. For Yellowknife, the suites are reasonable value for money so overall, not terrible, but not great either.
Nova Inn Inuvik

Not the most up kept hotel, but must have been quite nice when it was built. Room was decent, clean and had all of the amenities. Bed was comfortable, sheets towels were clean. We had all of the amenities for making coffee in the room, accept the coffee maker. Upon request one was supplied promptly. Breakfast buffet was exactly as described ”Continental”, I know other hotels serve pancakes and eggs/sausages (love those), great to up the caliber, but this breakfast was a decent continental affair. I watched them vacuum and scrub the lobby floors the night before and the following morning there were lumps of dirt from careless folks not using the boot brushes outside. Must be extremely hard to keep nice when folks using the facility don't care. Yes, it could have been better, but given the location, and the varying types of clientele I felt it was as described. We were here for the travel experience and the amazing North, not bath bombs and spa treatment.
Inuvik Capital Suites

Having made it up the Dempster to Inuvik & suffered Eagle Plains we were almost dreading the hotel standards/costs in Inuvik. What a pleasant surprise. We didn’t have a booking, but still had our choice. We opted for the Capital Suites two room option with kitchen so we could self- cater with food supplies we already had in the car. It was just perfect, exactly what we needed. Respite from the dust & mossies, huge space, great kitchen & utensils, nice sofa & seating area, good bathroom, nice bedroom with comfy bed & good bedding and at a price not too much more than the Eagle Plains very ordinary room. A great place to relax and recharge before tackling the return journey. The motto is – if you can brave the Dempster, don’t worry about room pricing in Inuvik.
