"Khamsum is located in the town letting you to access the town easily by walking. Staff were utmost polite and humble. Hotel was clean and hygienic as well. We tried their food as well. Red rice was top notch where as the hot and sour soup and emadatchi was average. Overall we loved the stay. Thanks khamsum and the lovely staffs. 4"

"Location - excellent food - average. The food needs variety and taste. Service- varies. Poor- any minor change from the menu served, they levy extra charge. Good- room service is prompt. Hygiene - the towels are not very fresh and bathroom does not smell very fresh, maybe due to poor ventilation in the bathroom. Amenities: the resort needs to keep a luggage weighing scale for international travellers. The property has been an orchard and farm house. Morning walks are good within the resort."

The hotel is very close to Huxue Temple and it is very convenient to get up early. If you are free, the hotel owner can also help you book a guide. The price is much more cost-effective than the group. The guide is less than 200 yuan a day. You can climb the mountain for 5 or 6 hours. The hotel provides free breakfast and can also order here. After staying for three days, I ate three dinners. Three meals plus more than 200 yuan per person. Cheese peppers and fried rice are highly recommended."

One staff tells you something and a minute later you hear exactly the contradictory thing from another staff. Very confusing and frustrating. Don’t expect 5 star service here …
Let’s move on to the amenities. The rooms are simple and clean, but very outdated, the floor queaks and you clearly hear footsteps from above.
Then there is the spa… first of all, you need to inform them 20-30 mins before you want to use the sauna in order for the staff to turn it on. Then the steam room had really dirty floor which a kinda of unknown black gluey thing sticking to your feet, kinda disgusting. When I told the spa staff about it, then they just ignored it.
Finally, the food in the one and only restaurant, last recipe, was „underwhelming“, if you want it said in a polite way. The pizza dough was still raw when it was served to us.
I wouldn’t stay in this hotel again but I guess this is your only choice if you want a safe option besides Aman or Six Senses."

GGuest UserEverything was amazing right from the word go. The hospitality and cuisine were top drawer stuff. The host took time to drop and pick me up at the inaugural ceremony of the first royal bhutan festival amid-st heavy rains. Looking forward to visit again. Recommend strongly for any first time visitors and i am sure who will automatically make this venue a permanent one.

FFishtail7This hotel is very good value for money considering its price range. The staff and owner are super hospitable and very accommodating to guests’ needs. The food is good, and the location is close to Tiger’s Nest so it’s a great option for those hiking up to the monastery next morning. Overall highly recommended.
