Holiday Inn Express & Suites Nassau
3.5/5109 Reviews
Downtown Nassau
The Holiday Inn Express is perfect for people who want a clean and comfortable accommodation without staying at an ”all-inclusive” resort. The Bahamian culture and the Nassau area are so beautiful, and it would be a shame to lock yourself into a sealed resort where you don't really interact with locals. Service here was fantastic -- my air conditioner was misbehaving a bit on the first day, and I asked someone to come take a look, and instead they upgraded me to a larger room to make sure they had time to look at the a/c and that I didn't spend a moment being uncomfortable, which was above and beyond my expectations. They have a really tasty hot breakfast, and their snack selection, available 24 hours a day to be picked up at reception and billed to your room, is broad and includes even full microwave meals (for when you're hungry at 3am on an island with very to no overnight food places available). The prices are very, very reasonable, as well -- after snacking pretty consistently throughout my seven-day stay, I expected my snack and beer bill to get a little crazy, but it turned out to be about $20 after I ate and drank well over $20 worth of stuff. It's easy to walk to downtown and shop, book tours, etc. from here, and the beach is right across the street. The Fish Fry at Arawak Cay is a 5-10 minute walk away as well. Most of what I wanted to see and do was an easy commute on foot, and cabs to and from the hotel were reasonably priced, when I was way too tired. Plus, the #10 city bus runs right past it. I would definitely recommend this place to travelers who are pretty independent in a new location, but also like comfort and great service. It was the perfect balance for me.

The hotel WIFI is too slow. Everything else is pretty good.
Warwick Paradise Island Bahamas - All Inclusive - Adults Only

Paradise Island
The hotel is on Paradise Island, which is across a sea-crossing bridge from the main island. The hotel is relatively small. It is one of the four stars that is not very good. If you have the strength, you should pay more to live in Atlantis. There is a free small bar in the reception hall on the first floor. There are many people at night. The outdoor swimming pool is full of people during the day.

Stayed at the resort for a week, the staff is so friendly in all areas of the resort. The Condo type rooms in the One Particular Harbor building are perfect for families. The pool includes slides and a lazy river. For $60 a day per person you can get access to the club lounge which has breakfast, light lunch/snack items and hors d'oeuvres late afternoon. A decent bar to make your own drinks as well. Had at least one meal in each restaurant, brunch in JWB on Sunday was our favorite but all are good.

Not far from the airport, but also need to call a car, this is the best hotel in the Bahamas this time, better than the countryt of dt, the same price should be the best, this hotel was temporarily booked on the same day, because staying The airbnb on Pig Island is too bad, so I decided that the home looked good, and Ctrip had no comment, so I planned to gamble. I arrived early in the day, but I also checked in early. If the fee is about two thousand RMB per night, I paid almost a hundred dollars in tax when I checked out. Unfortunately, I did not experience the swimming pool behind the hotel. It looks very good. The stay is very comfortable, there is a balcony, the decoration is quite new, it is recommended to experience, there is a casino downstairs, did not go.

I admit, I was skeptical about staying here at first, but then I was pleasantly surprised. The room was nice and it was really great that it had three beds so we didn’t have to share! Speaking of beds, very comfortable mattresses, pillows and good quality linens. Our room had a private rear patio and an open front patio that was perfect for lounging with a coffee or a drink. The pool area was nice, clean and the water was wonderful. A mix of sunny and shady spots were available. In the evening, Kenny served cocktails on the house and kept us entertained with tunes and chit chat. There were flowering bushes everywhere, creating a lovely atmosphere and the rooms are named after flowers like Tulip and Bougainvillea. The staff were very helpful and kind. Complimentary breakfast made to order as well as tea, coffee, juice, fresh fruit and baked goods made for a lovely morning! There isn’t much to do in this area, but a short walk will take you to the beach or to the Bahama Grill for some of the best food!

The location of the hotel is right in the city centre, but all the shops in downtown Nassau are closed at 6:00 in the evening. We didn't borrow a car in the center of Nassau because parking was very inconvenient.

I had the worst experience ever. When we arrived, we had to wait more than four hours for our room. While waiting, a lady at the library café offered us tea and coffee. We sat down and waited for over an hour. She chose the tea flavors and served the drinks in paper to-go cups, without providing any further service. We assumed these were complimentary welcome drinks. However, the manager needed the table and kicked us out of the library. As we were leaving, a lady shouted, ”Your check,” which amounted to over $80 for four teas and two black coffees. This was outrageous. The next morning, our room lost power for over five hours, and the water was coming out dirty. Even after the power was restored, the water remained dirty for more than two hours, preventing us from taking a bath. We had to wash our faces and brush our teeth with bottled water, as if we were staying in a hotel in the middle of a jungle. Additionally, I had specifically mentioned that there would be two people staying in the room, but it was only prepared for one. When we requested another robe, slippers, water, and towel on the first night, a very rude lady from guest services replied, ”We don't have any robes; we will deliver it in the morning,” and hung up on me while I was still speaking. The rest of the requested items arrived two hours later, which was unbelievable. Every morning of our stay, we were woken up at 7 a.m. by an extremely annoying sound. When we asked about it, the response was, ”Oh yes, that's the electric plant. It's normal,” instead of offering an apology or a solution. My dad and siblings were staying in two different rooms, and they experienced the same issues, along with additional instances of extremely poor service. Aside from the bad service and terrible experience at the hotel, the restaurants were EXTREMELY expensive. I have never in my life paid $12 for a black coffee or $6 for a single egg. If you go, I highly recommend eating outside the hotel or buying groceries and beverages to keep in your room. In summary, I will never return to this hotel. I would rather spend the money renting an apartment or a catamaran.
