Choeng Mon Beach
We have recently stayed for 6 days at the PS Thana and can thoroughly recommend it. It is very good value for money compared to some of the other accommodations in the Choeng Mon area. We had a Pool-side Villa and it was more than adequate for our requirements. Everything worked perfectly. We had self-catering facilities (not that we used them ourselves) but useful if you wanted to cook in sometimes. Breakfast was a bit limited but enough to keep us going until lunchtime! Thanks to Peang, her mum and the PS Thana Team and a special shout-out to Jackie Chan for his sense of humour and friendliness! We actually preferred staying here rather than the big hotel further down the beach where we stayed for our second week! PS Thana had a generally better vibe and atmosphere probably because it's more compact! We really enjoyed our stay here and hope to return again at some time!

Beautifully designed and thoughtful spaces. Smart TV & Netflix available. A variety of good food can be ordered. Has a small shop for snacks. Great if you fancy a peacful restful holiday or working holiday where you won't spend too much money, also great for prolonged stays if you want to work digitally write or create Art. Walks in the countryside and a detox from busy city life. The owners/staff were very warm and welcoming and available to help. Amazing value, in the city this would cost minimum 2500 baht. Very impressed!

Chaweng Beach
Wonderful hotel! Friendly staff. We asked for a table and they brought it to us. According to the reviews, we were prepared for the worst, but we were lucky, as always)) The view was a luxurious, cozy balcony and the noise somehow didn’t bother us at all. We were lucky, apparently we were on the lucky side. The room is comfortable, the air conditioning works well, comfortable beds, a kettle, mugs and glasses, teaspoons. There is gel and shampoo in the shower. And the most important thing is super flying Internet! We would have stayed even longer, but the places were all taken. The hotel is located right next to the Central Festival Shopping Center. There's also a night market there. The beach is a maximum of 10 minutes, the landmark is opposite McDonald's, which is closer to the center. I thank the hotel owners and staff for the warm welcome and good attitude!
The Shore Samui

The shore, Samui. We were assaulted and kicked out by the the owner who goes by the name of Mike. Let me first explain how it all started: We had a reservation from 13-17. However ,because of the long distance travel, and very limited ferry’s operational hours, we couldn’t get there until the 14th. Once we get there, he fraudulently canceled our reservation in order not to pay any commission fees to the booking.com. Later, we realized he had cancelled our reservation so we couldn’t write a bad review too! We paid him for two days in cash, and I even paid 300 baht more on top of that for the inconvenience which he gladly accepted. The problem started when my car’s tire accidentally hit their flower vase and broke it. Before they said anything, we had already offered to pay for it which we did. However, right after that, he suddenly went crazy on me and my wife and started shouting at us and pushing us, and told us to get out. We asked for a refund for one day as they were the ones kicking us out! They refused. We had to get the police involved and through their assistance, almost two hours later, we got our money back. By then, it was midnight, and like homeless, we had to look for a place to stay, Our vacation was ruined completely. We were humiliated, and it was a very unpleasant experience after all. I would not even recommend this place to my enemy! There is no pool by the way as he falsely advertises on other platforms. Only one private pool which only one room can use it! The balconies are right next to the stairs, so people go up and down, they can stare right into your room, no privacy! Avoid void! To be honest, even one rating is one too many for this place!

Sairee Beach
I stayed here for 3 weeks in 2024. The rooms themselves are quite nice, given the price point. The onsite convenience store was in fact, quite convenient. It stocks everything from toothpaste, to beer to mosquito repellant. On site laundry is a blessing. There is also a bank machine and ATM right outside the store. On the flip side, the views from the room are problematic. If you get the 'sea side' view, you overlook single story concrete huts. You also get to smell the freshly burned garbage from an open bonfire, next door to the motorcycle repair shop. The pool is a bit small and frequently in use by scuba diving courses and now children's swim lessons. All in all, it was a good stay and I have little to complain about.

Internet is no problem. The surrounding environment was quiet and good. For a hotel of this class, the cost performance seems to be quite good.
