"The location of the B&B is good, on the edge of Qixing Lake, and there are scenic spots outside. The decoration is also quite unique, and they are responsible for picking up at the station. The proprietress is quite enthusiastic and gave me souvenirs when I left. The only thing I am not satisfied with is that the room I stayed in is too small, and the facilities are not complete. Everything is placed on the floor or windowsill. It is much more comfortable to stay in a hotel at the same price. I decisively canceled the next day's stay and moved to the hotel."

"Found a gem! Seriously so comfortable ✨ The mattress was perfectly firm yet soft, I slept soundly till morning, it was so restorative. The room was clean with no strange odors, and the decor was cozy and stylish. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, which made for a very reassuring stay. The location was easy to find and convenient for getting around, and the owner was incredibly nice! The value for money was excellent, making it perfect for both business trips and leisure travel."

"The inn is right in Paifang Street, just a three-minute walk from Guangji Gate, making it super convenient for watching the light show and visiting Guangji Bridge. Our room was on the second floor, accessible by elevator. It was very spacious, clean, and the bedding was comfortable. It even came with a smart toilet, and it was wonderfully quiet at night. The owner was really welcoming; they upgraded our room for free, and when we mentioned wanting to make tea, they even gave us extra bottles of mineral water."

"I stayed at Huazhu Qiaoyou Inn in Chaozhou Ancient City from May 11th to 12th, and I'm just getting around to writing this review today. After a tiring journey, I felt I couldn't give a half-hearted review, so I waited until I got home to write it. The three of us, all over 70, felt like we were staying at a relative's house at this guesthouse. After we booked, the owner contacted us and sent us the location a day in advance. When we arrived outside the ancient city, the owner personally came to pick us up, drove us to the inn to drop off our luggage, and then arranged a parking space nearby. They even upgraded our room! The hotel's location is excellent; it's incredibly convenient for visiting Guangji Bridge and strolling through the Archway Street. The room layout was well-designed, with a fresh and novel style, and the air was clean and comfortable. The owner even reminded us not to turn off the floor lamp at night, concerned that we might not see clearly and fall due to our age. They also introduced us to authentic Chaozhou specialties and nearby eateries, and advised us about some overrated items that weren't worth buying. Truly an honest owner! After we checked out, we had to wait to visit the Red Traffic Line Memorial Museum. The owner personally brewed tea for us in the guesthouse lobby, which we greatly appreciated. "1) Location is superb. Right smack in the ancient city and 50m from the landmark guangji gate. You can walk everywhere to do your visits and taste street food & other gourmets . You can even get on a trishaw & do a slow sightseeing of the city among the interesting streets outside the non-traffic square 2) hotel is new about 6 months old. Clean and full amenities . The bed is comfortable and good. We are not familiar with the light switches so had trouble switching to dim lights at night 3) there’s a lift and a laundry area downstairs 4) service is perfect . Our room came with breakfast. Breakfast is simple and fresh and wholesome . Well in chaozhou you probably wanna skip to eat the yummy snacks on the street. We had breakfast for 2 days. On the last day we skipped. We slept in till breakfast time was over. We had bought a rice dumpling and a rice snack the day before. We requested for them to heat up. They went beyond our expectations. Not only heat up, but gave us fresh fruits all serve properly on a tray like room service. Thank you 5) we booked a one bedroom suite on level 2. Ceilings are high. Room is airy. Soundproofing is good. Once the windows are closed. There’s minimal noise from street outside. By night 10pm it’s quiet . Morning noises only start around 9am plus from tourists foot traffic 6) Tip- as traffic are not allowed on that street. The nearest point is to get off at the Xia shui men (下水门） gate and enter the gate. From there you walk about 100-150m on flat well-tiled surfaces to the hotel 7) hope the hotel maintains their cleanliness & newness moving forward . Will definitely stay there again when in chaozhou"

"The service was absolutely fantastic, super friendly and helpful staff. The place is pretty, clean and the room is comfortable. However there was a strange thing happened in my room— there were tiny flies, a lot of them on the towels. But the second day the flies were gone. I just asked to change the towels cause it wasn’t too bad but because the service is amazing I didn’t think it was a big problem because you can always communicate nicely with them. Thank you for having us would recommend this place if anyone wants to stay somewhere in the suburbs. I was hoping the swimming pool would be open but it wasn’t I guess because it was in the winter season."

After comparing many, I found the reviews to be excellent, and they didn't seem like bot reviews. It was great value! Because we had a child, they upgraded our room. It was quiet and well-insulated, far exceeding the quality of a five-star hotel. It's very close to the beach, either within walking distance or accessible by shared bikes. Downstairs, there's a row of various restaurants, a dazzling array of choices. The landlady is incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The downstairs café is fragrant and inviting, very chic, unique, and peaceful. Parking is convenient. Excellent location, everything is perfect, highly recommended."

She told me enthusiastically that if I needed anything, I could call the front desk at any time and I would send it to you. There is a snack street nearby, which is very convenient.
