Introduction Vietnamese Cuisine Cooking Experiences in Hanoi

Introduction
Some information may have been translated by Google Translate

Hanoi invites you to step into a cooking class surrounded by fireworks, explore the essence of Vietnamese cuisine in the ancient streets and alleys, and start a wonderful journey on the tip of your tongue.

Authentic course content: Usually the course will last 3-5 hours. It starts with buying fresh ingredients from the local market. Each ingredient will be explained, including the background of the ingredients including culture, customs and practices. The content focuses on traditional delicacies such as Hanoi beef noodles, fresh and fragrant spring rolls, Vietnamese meatballs, egg coffee, etc. You can learn the secrets of making rice noodle soup, the thin and light spring roll wrappers, and the unique pre-processing of other ingredients, and experience the unique flavor of Vietnamese cooking. After one class, students can make 4-6 authentic Hanoi delicacies by themselves, and sit down to enjoy the fruits of their labor after cooking.

Small class teaching, experienced teachers: The class adopts a small class teaching system, which allows the teacher to take care of all students, and students can share their experiences and exchange food culture from all over the world. The atmosphere is warm and harmonious. The chefs who teach are all locals, rooted in the Hanoi catering industry, and are well versed in local food. We will adopt a teaching method of "theory first, practice later" and provide patient guidance throughout the process to ensure that every student understands and masters the cooking steps and can perform the operations independently to improve their cooking skills.

The facilities are practical: The cooking area is bright and ventilated. The kitchen utensils are not gorgeous but complete. The traditional earth stove is matched with a modern stove to meet various cooking needs. The ingredients are all collected from local markets, fresh and juicy, such as perilla, mint leaves, lemon leaves, etc., to restore the most authentic Hanoi flavor.

Take a cooking class in Hanoi. Whether you are a tourist interested in Vietnamese cuisine or a student who wants to improve his cooking skills, you can find your own cooking fun here and leave your own gourmet memory.

Special

This is a very unique sort of a place with the vintage ambience. There is something artistic about it as well as old and photogenic. It was a really nice place, that is sort of hidden from the road so you can't hear the bike or car sounds which was great. The place was cozy and there are some muaic instruments. The music was great too. We went in the afternoon for a while and then went back again in the evening because we liked it so much. It was lot better than places with tourists and noise. We tried their cold brew coffee and passion fruit juice. Both were very nice. #vietnamtrip #hanoi #hiddencafes

TAKE A BREAK

#vietnamtrip Recently, Thanh Cong area has opened many new and beautiful cafes, from the hidden chill vibe to the check-in photo shops with lovely spaces. Take A Break stands out with its popular facade, suitable for OOTD photos. The space inside is quite spacious with quite a few seats, I like the sofa corner closest to the glass door because it is soft, lying down and chatting with friends is also comfortable. I find some other corners a bit narrow and stuffy, I stopped by in the morning and saw the floor was still dirty and had water, probably because the shop is being repaired and completed. I tried peach tea with milk cream but I was not really impressed, I read other reviews and saw that the space is mainly praised but the drinks are not very good. Hopefully the shop will fix it and stabilize the quality of drinks at the shop. Address: 108C3 THANH CONG, BA DINH, HA NOI. VIETNAM

DEEPSII

#vietnamtrip I think I'm about to become a die-hard fan of DeepSii. Whenever a new store opens, I'll be there to experience it. On days when I'm bored and don't know where to go, I'll come to DeepSii. This is the 6th location, the shop chose a location in the small, quiet Ho Giam street. The new space has only one floor but is relatively spacious with a front yard and a cool indoor area. The designs are still kept the same as other locations from the bar, tables and chairs to the words "Every good story starts with coffee" on the wall. I see that people often come to DeepSii to study/work/meet partners. This new location has an additional yard, so if you're looking for a place to gather with friends and have a good chat, you can come to this location. Today I tried the Premium Matcha Latte to see if it was different from the regular Matcha Latte at DeepSii. Indeed, the quality of matcha is quite different. In addition to the brand's signature drinks, DeepSii also serves a variety of croffle and sweet and savory sandwiches for you to enjoy. Address: 12 HO GIAM, DONG DA, HANOI, VIETNAM

BOOK IN BAR

Book in bar is a small, quiet cafe, very suitable for studying or working. It was my own big mistake not to know about Book in bar sooner and write a review for everyone so that everyone could have a new place to hide for themselves. Although the space is only one floor, there are many seats, most of the tables and chairs are high tables and chairs, and there are electrical outlets around for guests to conveniently use. Each table is arranged with an additional lamp, providing adequate light for guests but still maintaining a quiet, cozy space. Besides, the shop still has a row of low chairs for customers to chat, but everyone who comes here maintains the common space and speaks very softly, which makes me like it even more. The way to get to the shop is a bit difficult, it's easiest to find using Google Map :3 ☕️ The menu is diverse from coffee to tea, I tried an apple mint tea and a salty roasted rice cream tea. My apple mint tea has a bit of a strong mint flavor, and the tea is also a bit too sweet. If I could reduce these two ingredients, I think the tea would fit better. My friend complimented me on roasted rice tea that it was delicious, light in taste and easy to drink. Before I went there, I saw a story about the shop uploading carot cakes and cinamon rolls, so I was curious to try them out. Unfortunately, the day I visited, the shop didn't have those two cakes huhu :( If anyone has tried them, please review them and let me know, I like them. Very nice carot cake #historicallandmarks #localguides #goodfoods #foodphotography #coffeeshop #bar #cafe

Rode a motorcycle for good food

#newyearadventure Tried out a motorcycle food tour when in Ha Noi, and it's definitely a touristy thing to do. Rode as a pillion rider on a motorcycle was really cool as we got to experience how the rider rode and avoided the jaywalkers. Also, we got to try out and enjoy some food that we might never get to try or attempt to try if we were on our own. The experience of the food tour and having rode on a motorcycle was really nice. Besides bringing us to try out the local stalls, be it a shop or by the roadside, the guide made an effort to introduce the history and culture of the city to us. It's definitely an eye-opener for us

📍Floor 9, 33 Alley 165 Cau Giay, Hanoi ⏰ 16:00-02:00 💸 from 55ca Zero Point is located on the 9th floor with a million-dollar view embracing the city but the price is student-friendly. The shop has indoor and outdoor spaces, if you like cozy privacy, you can sit inside, but if you want to breathe fresh air, you can go outside, it's extremely spacious so no need to flo. If you want a nice seat, remember to book a table in advance. The drink menu is quite diverse and affordable, with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. You can order from the menu or the bartender will also make it according to the customer's request. Good music, very suitable for a date

DEEP SII

Deep Sii has a new facility, taking advantage of the beautiful weather, the cafes open regularly, I like it. The new Deep Sii is a bit difficult to find but compensates for a much wider space than the previous facilities. In front of the shop is a common park of the area, so the view is cool. The indoor space has two floors, aimed at the guest who needs space to work/study so all tables and chairs used are high tables and chairs, have soft cushions and more importantly power outlets everywhere. The second floor has another large glass window umbrella, I came in on a windy day and said it's not spicy, sitting next to the window umbrella thinking that I'm the leading lady in some heartless music video. There is also a corner of the 2nd floor area reserved for a painting exhibition, even though it's small, it can take many beautiful photos ☕️ Call a drink in Sai a chair because it's not a table. I tried Sii Foam very addictive, very addictive but my croffle was a bit dry that day, not as good as the first time I ate at Van Phuc.. #songkran2024 #mytravelhacks #goodfoods #cherryblossom2024 #historicallandmarks #localguides #cafe #coffeeshop

Ták coffee

Ták coffee

The cafe has a prominent, impressive design with a “garden” in a relaxing Zen style. Overall, it can be seen that Ták coffee is inspired by Japanese style. Impressed by the space of the shop surrounded by bamboo, gravel roads and a large indoor area with interesting architecture. The shop uses a prominent red tone, a large house frame with a circular structure, and the ceiling above gets smart light through cute cubic glass panels. The concept is interesting with neat interior, soft chairs, many power outlets, and a long table, so it is quite suitable for a “workspace” location. The lighting is beautiful, so taking pictures outside is okay. The menu is diverse with prices ranging from 40-60k, I tried fruit tea, the appearance and quantity are okay. In addition, the shop also has cakes! Search “Ták coffee” on google map for easy finding. The shop is soft opening and officially opens on August 24-25.

PAPA'S DESSERT CAFE

PAPA'S DESSERT CAFE

#favouritecafe When it comes to cafes with elaborate Christmas decor, we cannot ignore Papa's Dessert Cafe. Last year, Papa "made waves" with a giant Christmas tree, and this year, the restaurant has invested even more with a super beautiful Christmas tree decoration corner. The first and second floors will be the areas with the most Christmas decorations so you can take pictures. In addition, the restaurant also opens a music list that is very suitable for the holiday season, so the mood of the restaurant is very nice. In addition, the 7th floor area has a view of the expensive Hoang Cau lake, which is also a pretty chill choice for weekend evenings. Seasonal Menu Cinnamoment of Joy with products such as Crottle Lotus Biscott, loaf Lotus Biscoft, Cinnamon Rolls and Latte Lotus Biscoff. The combination of Lotus Biscoff cookies with baked toast or croffle products creates a sweet and fragrant flavor, with a little bit of cinnamon spice, very suitable for the cold of winter this year. In addition, the Cinnamon Rolls also impressed me quite a bit, combined with The coffee products in the collection are extremely reasonable. Address: 40 MAI ANH TUAN, DONG DA, HA NOI

JARDIN DE LANH

#favouritecafe I thought that a beautiful shop like this would be quiet on weekends, so why not post it so that more people would know about it. The shop opened with the concept of flower coffee, which means selling both flowers and coffee, so it's not surprising that the shop is set up neatly, with many beautiful photo angles. The space consists of two floors, the shop is quite crowded on weekdays but on weekends it is quiet and deserted, so anyone who is looking for a place to chill and chat with friends can refer to it. The area on the 2nd floor has just been set up with a pine tree, which looks very beautiful in pictures. I took a photo of the drink and it looked like I was in a studio. • In cold weather, you can try hotchoco, but remember to tell the staff to reduce the sweetness if you don't have a sweet tooth. Besides, the shop also has many machine coffee products for you to choose from. I tried coldbrew and it was okay. The shop uses Ethiopian Shakiso beans, citrus aftertaste with orange, tangerine, and berry flavors. My friend really likes the tea lines of the shop such as the jasmine orange Oolong, I guess everyone has different preferences and tastes so you can refer to some of the drinks I suggest. #cafestory 📍65 Nguyen Khang 🕰 8:30 am - 11:00 pm ▪️A beautiful shop for Hanoi's autumn 🧸 - At first, I didn't understand why the shop was so crowded, but it turns out that in addition to the beautiful space and many check-in corners, there is also statue painting, guys 😂 - I like the shop because of its private space, suitable for dating, studying and working, but now the shop is too crowded so you guys should gradually come over ▪️Diverse menu, Burningmel - coffee mixed with caramel, light and easy to drink. Mien man - coffee with a layer of fatty cream that I order everywhere 😗 Price is about 50-60k, if you add statue painting, I will bow

Lẩu A Híu

Hanoi is really in autumn, the season of hot pot and grill is on the rise. I just discovered a delicious and cheap hot pot restaurant, with a view of Ngoc Khanh Lake, looking straight at Lotte building from only 70 VND/person. The 3 of us ordered a 179-ca Ocean Fish Hot Pot, which got us a huge fish. The fish here is fried to reduce the fishy smell. The fish meat is very fresh, sweet, and not mushy at all. Especially, the green pepper salt here is the restaurant's exclusive recipe, which is super delicious, it goes well with fish, and even better with seafood. I'm a normal person who rarely eats fish, but when I tried the first bite, I was blown away because it was so delicious. The hot pot broth was sour and spicy, the dipping sauce was great, plus the lake view was so chill. The vegetables were also fresh and really clean. The restaurant also has Thai Hot Pot, I will definitely come back to try it. After every table finished eating, the owner would come around to ask if it was to our taste, if anything needed to be adjusted, and then thank us very enthusiastically. This time we ordered iced tea and cucumbers, which only cost 70 cents each. Hotpot is perfect for this weather, I highly recommend A Hieu. #historicallandmarks #localguides #goodfoods #foodphotography #restaurant #foodie
