| The Perfect Venetian Stay

| The Perfect Venetian Stay

I recently checked in to the Cipriani Belmond Hotel in Venice, located at Giudecca 10. The hotel is very close to St. Mark's Square, only a four-minute private boat ride away. The surrounding transportation is also very convenient, with the hotel's water taxis providing direct access to Venice's major attractions. Geographically, the hotel is situated on the peaceful Giudecca Island, offering stunning views of the Venice Lagoon and Doge's Palace. The decor is luxurious and elegant, and the facilities are comprehensive, including a large swimming pool and tennis courts. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, the reception staff were warm, friendly, and fluent in English, making my stay hassle-free. My room was incredibly spacious and well-equipped with amenities such as a high-definition flat-screen TV, an iPod dock, and free Wi-Fi. The room featured a large bed, excellent lighting, and furniture including a sofa and a small table. The bathroom was thoughtfully designed with a separate bathtub and shower, double sinks, and generously sized toiletries. Dining at the hotel's Cip's Club and Porticciolo Restaurant was a delightful experience. Overlooking St. Mark's Square, the restaurants offer authentic Italian cuisine and a charming setting for afternoon tea. The breakfast spread was extensive, especially appealing to those who enjoy fresh, made-to-order European breakfasts. 🌟Nearby Recommendations: If you have time, explore Venice's must-see attractions, such as the Grand Canal, Doge's Palace, St. Mark's Square, and St. Mark's Basilica, to experience the unique charm of this city on water. There are also some excellent restaurants near the hotel, including Tango Bar Venezia, Vacaria Ristopub, and Gelateria Ca' D'oro. 📝The only minor drawback is the relatively high price, including the rather expensive drinks at the bar. However, overall, if you can afford it, this hotel offers exceptional value. For those seeking a special experience, it's a perfect choice and one that will create lasting memories. I look forward to returning and experiencing a different side of Venetian charm✨

THE FLOATING CITY ✈️🇮🇹🛶🚤🛟

If you're a young traveler exploring Europe, Venice is a must-see. It's an oasis of glistening canals surrounded by magnificent palaces. A transcendent experience is just getting lost in the streets; you'll be submerged in passageways next to grand canals and smell the fresh sea air. It's simply fantastic. Venice is one of the most fascinating and genuinely beautiful towns in the world, appearing to be floating on water. The entire city, which boasts elegant bridges, quaint lanes, and fantastic shopping, is included as a UNESCO World Heritage site. This, together with attractions like Piazza San Marco, home to St. Mark's Basilica, the Doge's Palace, a bustling boardwalk, Venetian glassblowing, and, of course, gondola rides, make it clear that to skip this city would be unfair. #cityoverlook #europeanarchitecture #europe #italy #tripaway #venice

Classic and Elegant: Ca' Pisani Hotel, Venice

Classic and Elegant: Ca' Pisani Hotel, Venice

🌟Rating: 4.0/5.0 📍Address: San Marco 2814, Venice, Italy ✨The Ca' Pisani Hotel in Venice attracts countless visitors with its unique classical style and excellent location. The solemn and magnificent porch exudes a strong historical atmosphere. Originally the residence of Venetian nobles, every corner and detail reveals an elegant historical charm. Although the building is a bit old, it only makes people feel its ancient charm more deeply. 🏛️The interior decoration of the Ca' Pisani Hotel is amazing. The naturally aged furniture, exquisite paintings, and carvings all show the unique Venetian style. Although it does not have the high-tech equipment of modern chain hotels, this 16th-century boutique hotel still retains the traces of that glorious era. The terrace is a great viewing point, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Grand Canal, especially when enjoying a cup of espresso, feeling unparalleled comfort. 🍽In terms of experience, many customers praised the hotel's rich breakfast, and the food was fresh and delicious. However, some guests reported that the beds were hard and the room facilities needed maintenance. Different guests have different experiences, but most people are satisfied with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Although there is no elevator, carrying luggage upstairs may take some effort, but when you step on the ancient stairs, the feeling of traveling through time is definitely worth mentioning. 🌍Recommended nearby attractions: - **St. Mark's Square**: One of the most famous landmarks in Venice, the square exudes charming charm both day and night. The buildings on the edge of the square, such as St. Mark's Basilica and the Mint, are also not to be missed. - **St. Mark's Basilica**: It is full of unique Venetian architectural styles, and the luxurious interior decorations and historical paintings are breathtaking. 🍴Recommended nearby restaurants: - **Vacaria Pub**: Offers delicious local snacks and drinks. - **Tango Bar Venezia**: You can taste local Venetian snacks. - **Gelateria Ca' D'oro**: A paradise for ice cream lovers. - **Al Grill**: A place suitable for family gatherings, offering a variety of food choices. - **Bacaro El Fradeo Quebrado** and **Impronta**: Famous for classic Italian cuisine. In such a hotel full of historical heritage, feeling the traces of time and immersing yourself in the romantic atmosphere of Venice is an unforgettable travel experience. If you want to enjoy more modern facilities and services, perhaps this ancient palace is not the best choice, but if your goal is to experience the real history and culture of Venice, then the Ca' Pisani Hotel is definitely worth considering!

PONTE ON POINT 🌁💕🇮🇹✈️

The Ponte di Rialto is unquestionably the most well-known and iconic of the bridges that cross the magnificent Grand Canal. The bridge, which links Venice's San Marco and San Polo neighborhoods, serves as a vital pedestrian thoroughfare and a major tourist destination. This conclusion, which was initially a wooden bridge, stood for hundreds of years before collapsing in 1524. An elaborate stone bridge was constructed as a result of this tragedy and is still in use today. You can stroll across the well-known Rialto Bridge from the easternmost point in the San Polo area to the northernmost point in the San Marco district. The oldest of the four bridges in Venice is the covered bridge, which was built in the sixteenth century. Numerous stores selling jewelry and souvenirs may be found on both sides of the pedestrian bridge. This bridge was originally a floating pontoon, but as traffic on the nearby Rialto Market expanded, it was decided to build the bridge out of wood. In the past, the bridge could be lifted from both sides to allow ships with protruding decks to pass. The 15th century saw the addition of the businesses on the bridge. #cityoverlook #tripaway #europe #venice #italy #unescoworldheritagesite #holidayvacation

Most Beautiful Bookstore in the World!

#bookstoresandgalleries Hidden along Venice’s side streets behind an unassuming facade, Libreria Acqua Alta, this unique bookstore is home to a treasure trove of new and used books. The name itself even means “Book Store of High Water.” Keeping a collection of books in a city where the roads are made of water is a dangerous idea to begin with, but Venice’s Libreria Acqua Alta has composed of a number of over-stuffed rooms stacked wall-to-wall with books, magazines, maps, and other ephemera. Due to Venice’s constant flooding, however, these picturesque piles are all placed inside bathtubs, waterproof bins, and in one room a full-size gondola. Climb the staircase made out of damaged books to enjoy an idyllic view, which is located at the end of the bookstore. Don’t miss out on taking a photo at the fire escape, which opens out to the canal. Also, try to spot one of the many resident cats the bookstore has adopted. 🕰️Business Hours: 9.30am to 7.15pm Monday - Sunday 📍Address: C. Longa Santa Maria Formosa, 5176b, 30122 Venezia VE, Italy. 💞Reasons to Recommend: unique method of storing books, and its beautiful decor. #italytrip #100waysoftravel #italy #beautiful_italy

A Day In Venice! 🛶

A Day in Venice is a day to remember! The buzzing streets, Boat rides in Gandola & canals going through beautiful architectures make Venice a lustful destination for tourists! First thing about Venice I must say is it’s very crowded. Especially in the summer. The streets are buzzing with tourists and vendors. So I would suggest to get out as early in the morning as possible. The pictures taken here are rare examples of quiet Venice in early hours. #foodie Get out early, have a good walk around, go for a lunch and finish your day with a spectacular sunset! #passionpassport #staycation #gooutside

#thingstodo Venice is one of my favourite city in the world and this place is really beautiful with the river surrounding the whole city. In the recent trip to Venice, I have captured lots of pictures about the boat and gondola on the river . I really liked the stunning view in there and the buildings are also colourful and look historical . The architecture in there was also impressed me a lot , such as the long bridge connecting both area of the city. #Venice

📍Venice, Italy ⛴️ You can cross the Grand Canal by taking a water bus, or of course, explore on foot. Riding a gondola is also a unique experience. Since it’s quite expensive, it’s a good idea to gather a few people to share the cost of one gondola. I recommend taking the water bus to explore the outer areas of the Grand Canal. It’s a more peaceful way to enjoy Venice compared to the bustling city center. #여름여행

Venezia!!

I advise you to take the package at the airport with transportation and museum entries. walking on the island is easy. everything's close by. We had hard time to find real and good Italian food though. There is a good ice-cream shop on Murano Island. It's a place that worth to stay more than just a week end. There is soooo much history. I only stood 2 days for the Bienale and am frustrated. Beware of the museums opening hours because there is a lot of queue and they mostly close around 4.30pm. So you should start your day with them. Then wandering on the famous romantic boats. #procuraties #saintmarcoplace #lafucinadelfuturo

A never ending arguement

#100WaysOfTravel Venice receives a mix set of reactions. That is why I say it is a never ending argument. While tourism or over tourism, the increasing number of Chinese owners or several other reasons that get pointed out do may be make sense. They're all human doing. And at the core, strictly speaking of the place, What cannot be denied is that it is a culturally rich and magnificent destination. The venetian culture is amongst the special ones. I mean there are some sights that my memory retains. Venice is such a special place to the point that it almost doesn’t feel real. I guess this is why Venice is probably one of the most recognizable places in the world. What I also liked was that Venice was easy to get around. I do a lot of exploring on my foot. While there is that never ending maze of canals and waterways. I only remember taking them once and the evening boats for pictures and views. It was worth the experience but you wont need to spend on them all the time. Another good reason why on foot is the best way to go was that every other corner there is something beautiful that might require your attention. Which brings me to the importance of good weather. For Venice you want to research and find the shoulder season. So that there is enough sunshine and not too many tourists. Goes without saying avoid any big holidays and especially Chinese holidays. Lastly, the food..well it felt nice. Then as I explored more of Italy. Say Milano, where the food was memorable. I would say that Venice is not the best spot. But hey may be you'll chat up some locals and find a gem.#100waysoftravel #venice #insta #memorable
