As one of the important birthplaces of Chinese tea culture, Chengdu has a long history of teahouse culture and unique charm. Whether it is a bustling urban area or a quiet old street, teahouses are always everywhere and have become an indispensable part of Chengdu people's daily life. Here, tourists can taste a variety of traditional teas, such as green tea, black tea, Pu'er, etc. Each kind of tea has its own unique charm and story. In addition, you can also enjoy traditional Sichuan opera face-changing performances and storytelling and other literary and artistic performances. These performances not only enrich the cultural connotation of the teahouse, but also provide tourists with a unique cultural experience. Some teahouses with a long history carry a heavy history and culture, allowing people to feel the precipitation and inheritance of the years while tasting tea.

Opera+Tea: It shows teahouse charm. In tea spaces around traditional stages, sip covered-bowl tea and watch local operas—this Bashu experience is both a treat and a key to the city’s character.

Tea Culture Journey: Unfolding a picture of urban leisure. Wandering through the alleyways with gray bricks and tiles, visitors can explore those hidden "gem-like" teahouses amid the bustle of daily life.

Chengdu, Chengdu!! A Thai family restaurant opened by a couple from Bangkok.

Chengdu, Chengdu!! A Thai family restaurant opened by a couple from Bangkok.

My favorite Thai restaurant has opened a second branch in Yulin. I first heard about them from a cross-cultural love story. 6 years ago, a Chinese girl (Nicky) and a Bangkok designer (Nick) met by chance. 6 years later, they have two family restaurants in Chengdu, "Nick and Nicky's Family". I've eaten there 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 times! Every dish is really!! So good!! It's so delicious and authentic, and many dishes are not available elsewhere!! The two branches are located in Taikoo Li and Yulin, and the per capita consumption is only two digits. It's one of the few Thai restaurants in Chengdu that I will keep going to!!

Chengdu! Chunxi Road! Rooftop! So chill!

Chengdu! Chunxi Road! Rooftop! So chill!

✨Chengdu Chunxi Road Hidden Gem Hotel | Return Courtyard Hotel✨ 📍 Great location The hotel is located at No. 77 Huaxing Zheng Street, Jinjiang District. Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li are just a few minutes' walk away, making it super convenient for shopping and dining. There are also many attractions nearby, such as Kuanzhai Alley and the Panda Base, making it easy to get around. 🏡 Unique design Stepping into the hotel is like traveling back to the late Qing Dynasty. The courtyard is laid out in a "口" shape, with blue bricks and gray tiles, original wood courtyard landscaping, and curved sloping roofs and reliefs that add dynamic beauty. The low-saturation black and white color scheme perfectly blends wabi-sabi style with modern comfort, creating a tranquil world in the bustling city. 🛏 Comfortable rooms The hotel has only 16 rooms, each of which is a work of art, ranging from 60 to 120 square meters, with private courtyards or terraces, and each room has its own view. Black pine furniture, wooden doors and windows, and the interweaving of wood and tea fragrance create a Zen atmosphere. The imported latex mattresses, duck down quilts, and other bedding, as well as Dyson hair dryers, smart toilets, and other facilities, are all five-star standards, making it very comfortable to stay. 🎈 Highlights of the public area The Star Pavilion leads directly to the rooftop, where you can "lift the roof" and watch the stars and night view at night, full of romance. At the Return Tea House, you can enjoy tea and chat with friends, and enjoy the leisurely time in Chengdu. There is also a private hot spring pool, where you can soak away your fatigue after a long day. 🍜 Delicious food The hotel is located on Huaxing Street, next to the historic Panshi Market Braised Food Store, as well as Xiyue City Tan Tofu, Dandan Noodles, and other authentic Chengdu snacks, which will satisfy your cravings in no time.

Unbounded experience ♾️

#hotelstaycation There's clearly a distinction between a hotel 🏨 experience and a home 🏡 experience; and in my exploration of numerous hotels in China - The Langbo Chengdu is truly a homey feel. It comes under Unbounded collections of Hyatt group, and they do stand true to that category. I couldn't have asked for a better breakfast in Chengdu than the beef noodles 🍜 with bamboo 🎍 shreds in it. Maybe the panda 🐼 will like me more, because of my likeness towards bamboo 😜 #urbanexplorer#tripblazers#summervacation

🎆The hotel we stayed at🏨, is a light luxury hotel, Summerisland Light Luxury Service Apartment . The price is around 500 . The room is what I like , the room has a kitchen, refrigerator, washing machine🎽, and there is a sound system🎼 to listen to music. Of course, you can drink some wine🍷, but at your own expense. Coffee and water are free🧂. 🎆You can contact your 🤶housekeeper in advance when you go, she will come down to pick you up, we stayed on the 36th floor and friends' 50th floor. But we only stayed for one night, and went out for drinks at night, otherwise, you can enjoy the night view. ✨The location is also quite good, close to Chunxi Road, Taikoo Li. However, the straight-line distance in Chengdu is very close, but there is a bit of a distance to walk👣. So we took a taxi throughout Chengdu, and it won't be very expensive. "Chengdu Chronicles: Unveiling the Heart of China's Southwest"

Chengdu, the vibrant heart of Sichuan, offered an unforgettable adventure filled with culture, history, and culinary delights. Known as the land of pandas and spicy hotpot, this city seamlessly blends tradition with modernity. The journey began with a visit to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, where witnessing these gentle creatures in their natural habitat was a dream come true. Exploring the ancient Jinli Street revealed a tapestry of local crafts, traditional performances, and tantalizing street food. The serene Wuhou Shrine and Qingcheng Mountain offered a glimpse into Chengdu’s profound spiritual heritage, while the bustling Chunxi Road showcased its modern, dynamic spirit. Every meal, from fiery Sichuan dishes to comforting teas, told a story of the city’s rich culinary history. Chengdu’s warmth, charm, and vibrant pace left an indelible mark, making it more than a destination—it became a cherished memory of a lifetime. #chinatrip

Enjoy a vacation without leaving Chengdu!

Enjoy a vacation without leaving Chengdu!

- We found a great place in Chengdu last weekend. The Christmas spirit is already in the air here 🎄 There are shiny decorations and tall Christmas trees everywhere. The kids loved riding the Christmas train 🚂 We chose the aviation-themed family room for our stay. The kids were immediately drawn to the airplane ✈️ elements in the room. They were so excited and started running around and playing. The room was big enough for our family of four! In the afternoon, we sat around the fireplace with the kids, drinking tea and chatting, enjoying some family time. There is also a heated pool, so you can swim in the warm water even in winter. The dinner buffet had everything from fresh seafood to delicious desserts, and even a Chengdu-style hot pot! The kids took their little plates and wandered around the food stations, picking out their favorite foods and eating with relish. We had a fun weekend without leaving Chengdu! It was great! -

Grand Hyatt Chengdu

#besthotels Staying two nights at the Grand Hyatt Chengdu was a fantastic experience for me. The hotel’s central location made it easy to explore Chengdu’s attractions, and the view from my room showcased the city's vibrant skyline. Since it's located in Chunxi road, the hotel was very close to the famous IFS Mall with the phenomenal big panda exterior. It's accessible to walk for less than 5 minutes. My room was spacious, with a modern design and luxurious amenities that added to the comfort. The staff was attentive and went out of their way to make my stay memorable. The atmosphere was relaxing and elegant, making it the perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing.

Exploring Chengdu: A Nostalgic and Leisurely Time on Fanghua Street

📍Fanghua Street, Chengdu During my journey through Chengdu, Fanghua Street stood out like a hidden gem. Its unique charm made me happily lose myself for half a day. Walking along Fanghua Street, the cafes, handmade shops, and antique stores on both sides create a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Just admiring the design of the shops is a feast for the eyes, making it a perfect place for friends who love beautiful and nostalgic styles to spend a leisurely afternoon. Fanghua Street hides some shops that sell exquisite vintage items, from unique accessories and elegant clothing to antique furniture. Each item is full of stories. Whether you're looking for a unique scarf or a characterful chair, this is definitely a great place for treasure hunting. When I got tired, I stepped into a uniquely styled cafe, ordered a cup of rich hand-brewed coffee and a cake, and sat by the window to enjoy the street view and read a book. It was truly a delightful experience!

Attention Chengdu residents! Yi people appear on the streets.

The streets of Chengdu have been buzzing with excitement these past few days! In places like Jinli, Eastern Suburb Memory, SKP, Twin Towers, Chunxi Road, and Xinglong Lake, a group of Yi people suddenly appeared, dressed in exquisite ethnic costumes, bringing a "Fun Drive to Stone Forest" flash mob feast. The passionate and lively Sani three-string dance, the energetic square dance, and the melodious moon guitar performance instantly showcased the unique charm of the Stone Forest, as if saying, "Friends in Chengdu, come and play in the Stone Forest!" The Stone Forest in Yunnan is a natural wonder, shaped by 270 million years of time, forming a unique karst landscape, a natural history book of Earth's evolution, and the hometown of Ashima, with rich and mysterious Yi Sani culture. The on-site interaction is super fun, with exquisite gifts and grand prizes, including a year-round free pass to the Stone Forest Scenic Area! From January to March 2025, drive to the Stone Forest and enjoy great discounts on local attractions, hotels, and dining with your ticket. Don't miss out on this opportunity! With the Spring Festival holiday just around the corner, plan a self-driving trip to the Stone Forest, explore the wonders with your family, immerse yourself in Yi culture, and have a unique Year of the Snake!
